Your text here!! How to post a link in your reply.

A bit of info for those getting used to the 'new site'.

You post a link by clicking on the chain symbol just above the reply box.
That will bring up a box that you paste your link into. (For IE you may need to ' temporarily allow scripted windows on the info bar ^ to allow the box to pop up.)

If you are not copying and pasting the URL from the address bar remember to add the http:// before the www.

When you click on OK the link will be in the reply box and there will be a section that says 'your text here'.

Replace that with a suitable text and when you click 'reply' your link will have what you have written, rather than 'Your text here'.

I have repeated all this with pics in the thread!!

EDIT: Clicked like to your first post, got carried away and 'liked' every post including mine ooooooooops. Not sure if it shows in yours/others screen, in mine thumbsup for 'like' is orange in those posts.

Of course you could also type what you want to type, then highlight it, press the chain, paste the ilnk in and press ok.

That's how i do it anyway
