Jim Beam - nice bourbon and currently cheaper than Jack Daniels, so should satisfy any cravings while everyone about you is drinking Pimms. Bought from Stoke Sainsbury's where, strangely enough, black label Jim Beam is currently cheaper than regular.

Been to my Local store today (Newmains) and they had the 50cl bottles of Famous Grouse for £7.00 which is 4p more than the half bottle.

Now confirmed Nationwide, however the 50cl bottle.

Incidentally it was a different style of bottle than it normally is as this one looked like a clear Baileys bot more...

I stocked up on my favourite tipple during Christmas season (Famous Grouse £10 - £12 a litre - thought I'd gone to heaven!).

Sadly, the last bottle is now staring me in the face.

Please does anyone know of a decent whisky - not necessarily Grouse - on offer at present? Wherever I look, it is more...

Nice bottle of single malt if you like that sort of thing, matured in a whisky cask then finished off in a sherry cask to mellow it somewhat. reduced to £21.61 in store or on line. Sitting at over £26 in Tesco so seems a good buy.
