The older I get the less beer I drink. So much so, that I've found myself starting to really quite like wine. Now rather than nip down to the offy or Asda for my plonk, someone suggested why not join a wine club and have it delivered to your door.

A reasonable set of funky wine glasses reduced to 99p for six. They are square in design with long stems and each has a large black number on them - 1 to 6. Perfectly adequate wine glasses at a bargain price. Good for students!

I was in Sainsbury's on the corner of Kingsway and High Holborn this evening, and they had 25% off selected fine wines - I picked up some Penfolds Bin 389 for £15.89 (per bottle), but they had more esoteric bottles including Chateau Palmer Alter Ego.

In home bargains earlier and they have boxes of Banrock Station Ball Island Dry Red (shiraz) ..3Litre box for only £8.99
they also had a Stowells box for the same price but not sure which one. Bargain I say.

Just traded in my clubcard vouchers for wine tokens and looked on the Tesco Wine site to find 1/10th the choice they usually have! They also have sold out of most of their deals...
