Hey so I have recently been made redundant from Woolworths and I picked up one of these on the way out from the office, It will eventually be under my mum and dad's TV back in Southampton hopefully with Windows Vista Ultimate on it.

So they can go online and my dad can play cards etc..

Went into Zavvi (in leeds) Zavvi were claiming they were having 50 Percent sales, most items were 10% and 20% off. Has anyone found any real bargains, and any ideas when the stores will be closing.

The Woolworths in Byker was due to close today, but it has been extended due to then still having a fair bit of stock. It said 2 days till close but i think it was due to close tomorrow night (Saturday)

They had loads of DVD TV box sets left, i picked up South Park series 8 for £9 For anybody that more...

Just been on the news that the woolworths stores that were due to close tomorrow will stay open an extra day. Dont know if they will increase the discount tomorrow to more than 50% or wait until Saturday

Woolies are selling PlayTVs at roughly £15 in their closing down sales, and i'm desperately after one. I've checked all my local stores, and they've all sold out, so if anyone comes across one, could they get it, and i'll happily pay all costs involved, and a little extra.

Just wondering if any branches of Woolworths are still open in North East England. Newcastle and Metrocentre ones are closed but are any still open around York.

My local Woolworths closed today and in the last 2 hours everything (admit not much good left....) was down to 20% of original price, then in the last hour it dropped to 10%. Hundreds of people in the store looking for that last minute bargain but may be worth a last look. Cd's, computer games wa more...

Just picked up this instore @ Woolworths Wakefield they had about 8 left should be same price nationwide the wakefield store closes on the 5th january

Is my local Woolworths the only branch to still selling everything at either 10%, 20% and at the most 30% off everything? I was under the impression that it was to be 50% by now!
