I have been told it is possible to change the CPU on this laptop, and I've seen a number of articles on the web with instructions how to do so.

My problem is where do I buy a new CPU from? There seems to be a few American sites, but can't seem to find any UK sellers.

The motherboard on my Dell XPS m1330 has failed for the 3rd time. It's now 7 months out of warranty. A motherboard replacement is £300 - do I go ahead and authorise the work (crossing my fingers that it's not going to fail again any time soon) or do I cut my losses and buy a new laptop?
