I bought a similar set from Lidl last year, and it's been great. I've put an uplighter near my TV on the dimming socket and another dimmer in the other corner of the room and my subwoofer and a fan to cool my AV amp on switched sockets.

Doing so allows me to dim/brighten the room for watching films more...
