I used gotsent on my old pc, is there anything better than this, i've just downloaded a 10gb film not realising it was an mkv file so i need to convert it without losing any quality

I have a movie clip as a AVI file. When playing in Media Player or Quick Time, I have sound, but no picture?

Got some documentaries in avi format off a friend that wont play in my divx player,The player is a LG HT752TH. When i try to play the files it does'nt say that they are not compatable it just skips to the next file on the disc. Some time ago on hukd i remember somebody mentioned an app like winavi more...

I need to make 1 dvd from a file for a guy at work (whose dvd player is sooo old it won't play avi's).
Anyone recommend a good free prog ?

Had a stand alone divx player for the tv for years now and could never fault it but time for an upgrade, I paid around £30.00 for mine so was hoping someone on here could recommend a really good one for the same sort of price.

Burn many DVD's? Thuis DVD player comes with all the abilites to upscale your bought DVD's to a 'close to' HD quality.

Got a whole heap of divx/xvid avi files on an external hard drive, just wondering if I can play these natively in my new PS3 slim? Or can I play them another way? What other video files playback does the PS3 support?

i already have downloaded a free converter but seems very slow takes about 1 and a half hours to convert a normal film.Does anyone know of a quicker converter which is free or even paid for cheers for any useful contributions

which is the best free software to use? i've got a couple of music videos i'd like to put on my ipod but have no idea where to start - dont want a big program to clog up my laptop.

Need some advice,

I normally watch avi movies using my 4gb pen drive (FAT32) plugged into the usb port of my dvd player.

I purchased a 320 gb iomega 2.5" hard drive. formatted it using iomega formatter to FAT32, but the dvd player doesnt see any avi files on it.

Am I doing something wrong?
