Just had one of these phone me ,automated woman ( couldnt hang up on her) told me my details then asked me to confirm cellnet payment of £20 paid today when i declined the transaction it went to a human, Asian man ( no offence intended) came on said my name and date of birth and confirmed the police more...

right bought a item off ebay, original payment went threw as echeque, seller cancelled my echuque so i could pay instantly. which went threw fine,

now the original payment at echque for 13.00 says cancelled at top near sellers name and next says bank account uncleared, so i check my bank this morni more...

I've got a buyer looking to buy a TV from me, he wants to pay me as he has Internet access but wants me to deliver to his sisters house in Birmingham, he is happy to pay via PayPal (gift) or Bank Transfer.

I don't want to accept PayPal as it takes so long to get the money into my bank and just wond more...

If someone from Barclays bank wants to transfer money to royal bank of scotland account how long does it take?

There is no RBS branch in the place so its not as easy as sticking it over the counter either at a RBS branch so would need to be transferred.

Any ideas?
