Basically my question is how do I make an 'untethered' jailbreak on my 3GS?
What do I use? (not interested in unlocking, just jailbreak)

If this help; I bought my 3gs 2 months ago, b/b is 04.26.08, and I have NOT yet updated to the latest firmware ( still on 3.0.1).

Any help on this guys/girls?

no scratches on the back whatsoever, hardly used ipod touch 2nd gen, jailbroken to 3.1.2? How much is it worth? im lookign to sell and buy a cheaper ipod.

hi, in order for me to jailbreak i need to restore my ipod touch to 3.1.2. I have downloaded the firmware but how do i extract it so i can use shift and find the firmware to restore to in order to move on with the jailbreak? i have winrar but i dont understand how to extract it so its compatible for more...

hi i ahev an ipod touch 2g which ive just got. It doesnt have the 3.1.2 (i think thats what its clalled) update which allows bluetooth etc. can anyone tell me how to jailbreak it? provide video guides? (up to date) showing me how to flash to latest firmware. or normal guides?

Just wondering if anyone out there knows if this is ok? I have a 2G Iphone, unlocked/jalibroken and got a popup to install this from Apple. Is it ok to install this, I don't mind unlocking the phone again in the worst case but I'd rather not :)

right was previously jailbroken but done full restore via itunes followed redsn0w all the way but keeps getting stuck saying 'jailbreaking rebooting device' and nothing happens?
