Last month I purchased Dell Inspiron 17 from Carphone Warehouse, and Windows 7 upgrade was advertized as free, but at that time it wasn't released from Microsoft.

Yesterday, I received a letter stating that I would get a £15 refund for Windows 7 upgrade.

I have been in carphone warehouse today and upgraded to a Tocco Ultra as I was in the last month of my contract with o2, the bloke at the time said I wouldnt be able to return the phone if I didnt like it because it was an upgrade, however I now want to return the phone because I dont like it ! I'm planning to buy a phone from Carphone Warehouse and the colour I want to buy for my sister is stated to be sold on Virgin Mobile only.

Shes uses Orange normally but it would cost me a little moreto buy on Orange, happy to buy it on Orange if it will be locked to Virgin well.

I've just picked up a Samsung U600 mobile from the Carphone Warehouse (Newcastle) for £49.95 on O2. They were the same price for other networks, but unless you already have a sim card for the network you want, you'll have to top up by £10.
