My son was looking for one of these phones and seems to be £10 cheaper than anywhere else

Last month I purchased Dell Inspiron 17 from Carphone Warehouse, and Windows 7 upgrade was advertized as free, but at that time it wasn't released from Microsoft.

Yesterday, I received a letter stating that I would get a £15 refund for Windows 7 upgrade.

Great bargain as phone usually retails for £400.

I know people will vote this cold down to 24 month contract but you can sell the phone now and get around £200 or in a years time for about £100 and buy another and put sim in it.

I bought a phone from carphone warehouse last week after my contract mobile phone was playing up. I had to buy £10 airtime credit with it. Obviously I don't need it as I have a contract. It is all with vodaphone. Will they let me use this towards my bill?

I placed an order with this company last Sunday reassured by their statement 'You're in safe hands...part of the Carphone Warehouse Group' since when apart from an acknowledgement I have received nothing....no phone, no contract has been set up.

When I ring their direct tel numbers there is no answ more...
