Last month I purchased Dell Inspiron 17 from Carphone Warehouse, and Windows 7 upgrade was advertized as free, but at that time it wasn't released from Microsoft.

I was just wondering can you actually haggle with shops such as phones4u. For example, they have the HTC magic £30 a month, but max I can do is £25, can you walk into the shop and actually get the price lower? I would love to hear some success stories.

Got a Grifin iPhone 3G Case yesterday for £19.99 (got robbed!!) at CPW. Wasn't happy with it so went back to store for return/refund. The guy at cash counter says they don't provide refunds on returns but they can provide me with voucher which I can redeem back anytime (within 3 months).

My contract with e2save recently completed 12 months.

When I called to cancel via CPW who administer the account, I was offered a 12 month contract with 400 minutes and 1000 texts at the same price(£35 a month). This is nearly twice as much as O2 Simplicity as I am not upgrading the phone.

That's right, if you have paid the £269 before 1st april for the 8gb iPhone, take your receipt to CPW(Carphonewarehouse) and you will be issued a £100 credit voucher to compensate for the price drop!

Guess it would need to be claimed before 1/6/08 as the £100 off offer ends then.
