Why doesn't the site introduce a system similar to MSE's 'Thanks' feature that would give expandable fields to the effect of 'The following users voted this deal hot....' & 'The following users voted this deal cold'?
Or, how about removing the cold voting completely? Everything starts at zero and t

I will start :
Add reason selection box for the cold vote - so users can only vote things up, or give a reason when voting down.

hi!
just wondering why people generally rate somthing as being cold, or is this controlled automatically. i've only posted 2 items, and they have both got at least 10 degrees below zero already!
thanks,

As title really.
I'm sure many others feel the same, but I feel the need to vent!
I posted a deal again today, it's definitely the best price for the product by around £30 - yet it still is like 5 degrees, despite explaining the price is the best etc.
Why is it that some of the time your deals ju

Watching the deals popping on to the sight every hour or so... And perhaps as I have had more time on my hands lately than normal, maybe I am spending too much time on here.... BUT - that is a different subject -
WHY is it that (say) when somebody Posts a Deal which in 'their' mind is either worth

Is there anyway we can have a link (or in our profile maybe) button to see who all made deal we have posted Hot or Cold?
I would like to see who voted it so i could rep them for saying thanks :)
Think the Mods and Paul may already have this function but i think it would be pretty cool for us to ac

i cant understand why people vote cold for items and not explain why, if they are voting cold there must be a reason! ie cheaper elsewhere - if so why dont they tell us where its cheaper and not just vote cold, sorry for the rant its just really bugging me!!

Hi there
Merry christmas.
Heres a recommendation.
The hot and cold system is easily flawed by people who click either as a hobby without reason. Wouldn't it be better if, just like Yahoo answers, a reason must be stated for your hot or cold selection. Then and only then we would be able to see

I notice more often that people are posting numerous items in the Deals section just because it appears to be a 'low' price.
Different people have different perceptions of what a 'Deal' is. Personally I dont think many of them are Deals and I'll vote cold for one reason or another, mainly due to i

I've noticed recently that there has been a lot of cold voting for no clear reason other than the items posted are 'nice stuff' rather than things that were cheap to begin with. I thought that this forum was about getting good deals, not just the cheapest stuff about.
If you're voting cold please c

I know this has never been discussed on here(!)
My point is; when a 'deal' is posted by the op and its a repost, why vote cold?
Why dont people just put that its already posted and spam it as it could well be a very good deal.
Its not easy to find wether its already been posted

Hey, been a member since about this time last year and I think this site is a very valuable resource. However, recently, it seems to be that there appear to be trolls that seem to vote everything cold regardless if it is over some trivial value. This seems to have gotten worse lately, particularly w more...

You post a genuine deal which is limited availability, but people vote you cold because they are too slow to take advantage of it.
Whats with this? Do you want people to get peed off and not bother posting?
In my (last) case it was just a simple link to free jelly beans. There are only so many g

How about if someone votes a item cold or expires a deal then they are forced to enter a comment?
Sometimes I see something that looks quite good but it has been voted sub zero, but I have no idea why which makes me wonder whether it's a good deal or not...
