The price for Left4Dead 2 pre-orders has been floating round the £35 mark recently. Right now, Amazon are offering it for only £26.99!! This is the best price I have seen yet.

I've been playing this great game using an ATI 3650 on a 19" monitor / projector... It was running pretty good at res around 1280 with everything enabled.

Then that 23 inch 1080p Dell deal happened...

What card can I get away with? What cards are people using at this res?

I'm looking at a few and they all seem to have pros and cons. Midnight Club LA and Fallout 3 receive suspect reviews, and RE5 doesn't come out till Mar 09 :-(
I want something unique ie. I have not played GoW yet, so I don't see a reason to get GoW2 right now. Left 4 Dead appeals, but I really wan more...

So, I will be buying Left 4 Dead, and wanted to make use of the 10% preorder discount on Steam.
