Well normally when i done that i can stick in the ethernet cable from bt hub to the pc and its no problems just runs instantly on the internet.
Well i plugged it in and it says Local Area Connection Connected 100mps...so great th more...

I'm after a NAS drive, 500GB is fine. But not a USB one and not Western Digital - my second WorldBook Pro's failed after 15 months (again!).

Budget is anything up to £150 and any suggestions would be gratefully received. Size isn't an issue but reliability is.
