My friend has just bought a box on the net for £100, it has all the sky channels on including sky movies and sports. It came with a remote and boxed (not sure its name will check later) and thats it she doesn't have to pay monthly... Shes getting all the channels i am and i'm paying sky £50 per mont more...

The normal price I have seen is around £79 for a single cable installation or around £110 for a twin cable freesat installation...

Recently had Sky HD fitted, and had my Sky+ moved to another room, yet the sky engineer saw fit to remove this and replace with a 4 way LNB instead. makes no odds to me really, as i wont be adding another box.
Im pretty sure someone here will have use for this though.

I should say that its £1,299 on John Lewis (5 yrs warranty), lowest I can see is AJ Electronics at £1,009 but these are without the sound system. Not sure how good it is mind.

Bought one of these recently and have noticed that when i am recording a programme then i can't watch a selection of other programmes, for example i am recording King Kong tonight on ITV HD but cant watch BBC but can watch ITV2, anyone else have the same issue?
