I'm on the look out for an ATI HD 5870, it'll be my Christmas present so I'd like it to be here in time for that, I know that several companies seem to manufacture these graphics cards but don't know if any one is better than the other? My budget is as close to £300 as possible.

A couple of days my graphics card went pop, it was a Zotac 8600 GTS 512mb. My motherboard is the ASUS PK5-E, which is quite good, but only has the P35 chipset which is only PCI-E x16 and not PCI-E 2.0. My question to the boffins out there is, can I use a graphics card that is PCI-E 2.0 on more...
