I've got a new dimmer switch (Stainless Steel) with a strange symbol, L1, L2 and a seperate earth connection.
Problem is the old one (non dimmer, the old white one ) doesn't have an earth connection and there are 3 red wires 2 of which go into the COM and one wire going to the L1 connectio more...

I've been trying to get hold of 1gang chrome light switches, dimmers, blanking plates and 2gang chrome power sockets but have struggled to find anywhere that is not only in stock and offers the whole range but also at a reasonable price.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
