Windows 7 RTM (Release to Manufacturing) is now available at MSDN Academic Alliance.
If your academic institution is a member of the MSDN Academic Alliance you can sign in and download certain Microsoft Software for free. This now includes the full (not RC) release of Windows 7.

POSTED BY: Babbabooey 3 months, 4 weeks agoI just found out about this yesterday, those of us lucky enough to have developer MSDN subscriptions can get hold of the RTM version of Windows 7 over two months before it's released in the shops, and for 'free' !
