I've found a set of these knives in a local store for quarter of the price of most online stores, at only £50 instead of £160-190. They seem to be the old style knife block so I'm guessing they're cheap because they've been discontinued. I was looking for some Henckels or globals but they seem a bit more...

Title says it all really. The quality looks fine and there were at least 4 different designs to choose from in my store (Bournemouth, Castlepoint). The ones with white handles look quite stylish (and will be comfortable to use). Perfect for budget-conscious students.
