I would NEVER use, or buy anything that contained 'plastic' microbeads,
they are a complete disaster for our marine environments and the sooner they are banned the better.
I won't rant on about the details as I'm sure I will be ripped apart if I do....lol
BUT for anyone interested just google microbeads and you will find more info.
Sorry :(

Personally, as a skincare obsessive who has never had much success with scrubs of any kind I find microfibre cloths and PH-balanced soap or cleanser works for me. I won't bore people with my routine as it would go on too long...
I know some swear by scrubs and really like them, so this is for those people. *Shrugs*. Can't please everyone!
Totally appreciate that, and I'm sure many will vote it positive in the morning but for me I had to vote it a cold deal, and just like when I feel strongly about a 'hot' deal; I like to comment as to my reasoning, because that's only fair.

Why is Sports Direct hated so much ?

Did you see the recent Panorama filmed at the Sportsdirect main warehouse the other week? Let's just say the working conditions weren't great.

Also the constant use of promotions which *suggest* items are reduced, where in reality alot of them aren't.
adedamilola1
I got my voucher. My post says its £10voucher for spending £50

It's not your post which is misleading, it's the advert from sportsdirect which says "Extra £10 off". Technically it's not £10 off the price as you have to pay £50, but you then get £10 to spend on additional items.

Out of interest, when did you receive your voucher? Was it emailed to you or did you receive in the post or when you collected your order in store?

People seem to be so obsessed with brands they don't stop to research (maybe they don't care about picture quality). I recently installed a 65" curved Sony 4K for a customer with no 4K source, they didn't want the 4K sticker removed.

Haha. You're just butt hurt as you wanted it to stick on your tv instead. No you are right. People actually don't care and honestly couldn't tell if it slapped them in the face.

That's the exact kind of trust a brand is supposed to instil. So you can just buy a TV from Panasonic and know you're getting a decent, quality set. That's how it's supposed to work anyway... That's how it should work!
I don't think it's widely known to check into the actual manufacturer of your TV set. I rarely buy anything without doing my research, but this site is the only one I've ever seen mention Vestel tbh so I don't think it's fair to call out people for "not doing their research". Going to trustedreviews or similar, I've never seen them say "but make sure to check it's not a Vestel model!!"
TBH, it makes no difference to me if someone buys this TV. I'm not calling people out though buying this TV thinking you're getting a Panasonic TV (with Panasonic reliability) seems to fly in the face of the HUKD ethos of getting a good deal.
It was more the "obsessed with brands" bit I was referring to tbh. I just meant people should be able to say 'that's a Panasonic, it's a good TV' and really not need to dig much deeper than that. Especially not have to dig to the level of who actually manufactures the TV.

I mean, I do now. Because of HUKD. But I don't think I would've found out generally

Amazon were selling the family one with 4 cups for £30, I wish I had got that one but had already bought the sainsburys 1 cup one for £15. It's great for smoothies and if you wash it straight away to easy to clean
I was £24.50 last week from Amazon for the 2 bottle one but hey ho. That's the usual with price drops can't live your life waiting for s few pounds to reduce. Always happens tho.
These are really good. I use mine everyday. They are easy to clean, make absolutely no mess and they easily crush ice. For the money this is a must have.

Excellent, I have a bunch of bones I need to quickly get rid of.

Don't ruin the image of James Bond by going to Virgin Active.
This is not a 'free month membership'. It is 12 months for the price of 11! A subtle, but important distinction!

Terms and conditions for 2015 new joiners from affiliate channels offer
If you join any Virgin Active Health Club (excluding Chiswick Riverside and Classic clubs) up to and including 31st March 2015 then you will pay no joining fee and get your membership for the month of March 2015 free.
Offer only applies to new joiners (i.e. individuals who have not been members of a Virgin Active health club at any time in past 30 days) signing up to a full 12 month membership contract at the publicly advertised membership rate for the relevant club. See http://www.virginactive.co.uk for details of rates and multi-club access guide.
Offer does not apply to monthly memberships, club only memberships, temporary memberships (where you pay up front for membership for an agreed period of time), corporate company paid memberships and Pru health memberships and is not available at any other Virgin Active health club.
Virgin Active reserves the right to extend or withdraw the offer at any time without notice.
All normal contract conditions apply – ask at your club for details.

Can't vouch for this specific TV but we have a smaller one and the on screen programme guide is absolutely awful. Dreadfully slow and no timeline worth having plus no picture in picture - and we tried a firmware upgrade that failed. I won't ever buy a Philips product again on this basis. Why pay this much for passive 3d anyway? COLD

This is active 3D and also has the upgraded processor menu is very fast on this TV just arrived today great features and very quick also the on demand has a push buffer so no lagging when watching stuff online plus the 2D to 3D conversion is excellent.

Can't fault it so far.

The 7809 with ambilight is on sale in John Lewis right now.

Includes 5 year guarantee in JL.

2 Issues with the 7809 ok you get an extra 2 inches but the 3D is passive and it will cost over £150 more
in my honest opinion not worth it for 2 inches and 5 year guarantee.

Also the guarantee only includes repair and not refund or replacement which means you would be left without the TV
for a undetermined amount of time.

[quote=mixandmatchfash]Could anyone confirm if this work with Panasonic TX-48AS640 3D TV?[/quote

Go to Amazon and in the search bar insert " cool 3d active glasses " these are suitable for Samsung and Panasonic priced at £ 9.99 I think.
But these are no brands make, i prefer something that will come with well known brands. thanks for the help anyway, But i have checked that the one mention in this adverts, it will work with Panasonic TX-P50GT60 which Panasonic TX-48AS640 3D TV should be compatible with aswell. Might give a try once I get my TV very shortly.

If it is a new TV model you are getting then they will work but if it is a pre 2013 model they may not. About 2 years ago not sure when but active shutter operating was standardised by all manufacturers.

The Panasonic TX-48AS640 is only been out for 4months i think. so yea, its a new model. in this case these Samsung 3D glasses should work right?

Should be two bottles with this! Tried to get one from asda but out of stock! So i got the alternative at the same price
Cold for me no second bottle sorry
Go with the ASDA Direct deal (if you can find that in stock - set up a text notification when the item gets back in stock). For only 50p more you will get an extra bottle.

can't see why they wouldn't, although I haven't seen this model on their site. Might have to enquire if they stock it if anyone did want the JL warranty
John lewis price match???

5 year warranty
bought this the other day - impressed thus far (though big upgrade on my previous tv). Don't forget if you buy Currys vouchers from Morrisons to pay for it you can save 47p a litre on petrol - worth another £25+. http://www.morrisonsfuelsaver.co.uk/gift-card-partners

There's also this from Amazon for the same price (the model numbers seem very similar to the one in the deal, not sure what the difference is) : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-UE40F6320-Widescreen-Built-In-Freeview/dp/B00ELAQD5Q?SubscriptionId=AKIAJ7T5BOVUVRD2EFYQ&tag=camelproducts-21&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B00ELAQD5Q

Why is this hot?

This is a much better deal for £552 (free phone) all in on a 12 month contract and you get unlimited calls, texts and 1GB internet for £47 p/m.

http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/phone/galaxy-s4-black#/pay-monthly

yes...but you'd have to pay line rental on the other 12 months. Sim only for eg is around £10 so add another £120 to that.
Forgot to say it's a cashback deal, but I've had cashback from them with no problems.
This one is less than £20 per month, yes, it only has 100mins, but unlimited txt, and 2.1gb of data (100m + 2gb BT openzone).
http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/phone/galaxy-s4-black#pay-monthly

Good perhaps for someone who rarely make phone calls?!

Brought some today from hmv in stoke on Trent. Brilliant headphones. An absolute bargain compared to what's on the market for 50 quid.
Bought a pair today from HMV Trafford Centre for 49.99. They have loads of white ones but I had to search for a black pair. The headphones really are very well made and they sound great. They seem a lot more rounded than the other artist endorsed phones I have tried - they all have too much bass for my taste. I think at this price they're a bargain. The only thing I don't like is the weight - they're a lot heavier than my old ones but I guess that's due to the extra electronics and I'll get used to it.
also available on groupon in white or black for £49.99 with free delivery
Bought a set of these a few months ago when they were 49.99 at the HMV clearout, they really are quite good and a bargain at the price.
Have some heat mamboboy! I think I might actually take the plunge. When I saw them in HMV yesterday I was actually on my way to buy the Goji Tinchy Stryder over ear phones at Currys (they were half price) but as these are only £15 more, supposedly have restrained bass, active noise reduction and aren't red they seem like a better deal.

these have an AOL panel on if I remember correctly. I bought the 42" version and the pic is great, even though it is a lesser LG panel in the smaller sizes of the same range.

im looking for a cheap bike that can get me to work and back, that's it. majority road but also cutting through a wooded area. would something like this suffice?

also quick question about frames, im 6,2 what size frame would people recommend. only got 32 inch legs though. also ive been on cheap bikes in the past and they haven't taken my weight well, every time i put full force down on a high gear it would change/slip back down to a lower one, is this common with cheap bikes
I would recommend the B'twin RockRider for about £99 from decathlon.

Brilliant bikes from a proper French manufacturer... and the French are serious about their bikes trust me.
This is just a cheap generic frame with a Raleigh sticker on it. Raleigh haven't made bikes for years, they are all imported from Asia.
As many have already said, a cheap but crap bike.
OK, so I'm a bike lover and keen cyclist, so I know my bits and pieces. But I dont get why everyone is coming down so hard on this deal. What if a person doesnt have £100+ to spend on forks alone or £500 for a hardtail/Hybrid? I have a Trek road bike with all the carbon dodahs blah blah blah. But my wife has a "Active by Raleigh" bike that she uses to go out with the kids and its fine. It has gone a good couple of years with no problem. If you dont have £100's of pounds for a bike you wont use much, this MUST be worth the £75, if nothing else than to get someone off the sofa and get them some exercise occasionally????

My 2 local Laddi stores only had the usual 10+ manunka stuff

My Aldi had both the 10+ and 15+ today. Obviously I picked up a 15+ bottle. Note this is not UMF certified 15+
Picked up a jar in my local Aldi today, should be good for a sore throat.

7.50 in costco for 2, cold from me
plus you need to be a member via a business or civil servant. not really a good deal if general public can't access it

Qualified as a:

Chartered Architect, Optician, Pharmacist, Chartered Surveyor, Qualified Accountant, Solicitor/Barrister, Dentist, Magistrate/Advocate, Chartered/Civil Engineer

Or work for:

Banking/Finance, Civil Servant, Education, Fire/Rescue Insurance, Local Government, Airline, Post Office, Police Force, Medical/Health Service

Or:

Know someone who is a member already (I'd say upwards of 50% of the people I know fall into this category)

They really couldn't be a less 'exclusive' club

Unless of course you mean that you're not a member and so it shouldn't be hot, because it would cost you £15 (or possibly a bit more) to access it, so no one should be able to access it...
Suppose to brilliant for cold sores.
Maybe a bit extravagant to eat it.

Just wondered if anyone has this tv or the 47inch version, and what they think of it?

I have this tv after owning and returning two lm620ts
The previous poster is incorrect. This is not the inferior et5b that shares the lg panel.

This is a brilliant set for fast action sports and the 3d is some of the finest that has been seen on a Tv (passive or active).

Yep, silly me, wrong panel!
Ps- cashback is only to be used if you spend further money on another samsung product, and is available on the applicable samsung products from any retailer at the moment. Thx for the heads up though.
Thanks, i had that myself today too, seems like a good deal especially for the 6800.
thanks both, yes it cant be the same panel as the lg as this is active shutter and the lg is passive. Actually ive been looking at the lm670t as well, but read there may be issues with motion blurring and 24p images. Also the refesh rate in the pana is slightly better than the lg.

The thing i like about the active system is that you are actually getting full HD instead of losing half the resolution on passive tv's, not that i think there can be much of a difference to the human eye, however if im buying a full HD TV i would like my blu rays 3d or not to be in full HD. I appreciate there is some extra cost associated with active, but thats ok, for the extra quality.

i can agree, the bundled glasses (These ones) let in **** loads of light and have an annoying flicker... so yeah, nighttime only folks... although thanks for posting the link to the others i'm gonna buy.

If you're going to buy two pairs of the other ones, it's slightly cheaper to buy this and a filler item to take it over £50 for free shipping, or you can collect from store:
