Thanks, I'm going in Feb, looking at going along the coast to St Lucia as well.
We stayed in the o on cloof in Bantry Bay lovely little place.
We had a leaflet given to us at the hotel and they booked the day trips for us. 1 to see cape of good hope and whales and penguins and another for wine tasting. Took a hop on hop off bus one day that also takes you to the cable car for table mountain

Such an amazing city. So much to see and it's so cheap once you there. Went to the sort of high end restaurant you wouldexpect to pay hundreds of pounds for in London had 5 course wine and food tasting menu cost £30 all in. Loads of decent day trips to see whales, go on a vineyard tour, go up table mountain etc

Did you get some sort of guide to find the day trips etc or just found it all out there?

The titles are obviously a blatant attempt to cash in on the hugely successful Stieg Larsson 'The Girl Who..' trilogy.
While not being brilliant, they are surprisingly decent reads though.

I read book 1, just because it was free at the time on Kindle. It wasn't bad, but nothing special and definitely not a patch on the Stieg Larsson books.
But its mainly the rip off titles that i have a problem with.

This deal is no longer available, but it's not a great router for those with internet faster than 25MB/s anyway. Can't expire this deal on my phone so if someone is willing to do it for me that would be brilliant

if the wan port is 100megabit / 12.5megabyte
it is good for internet up to 100megabit / 12.5megabyte

It is very simple

Hey! Yeah I decided to take this back, bought a Netgear PL1000 powerline kit and works like a charm! Control panel says I'm on 1Gbps and download speed is my full download of 56MB/s. Very happy I bought powerline over a new router.

https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTAC51U/specifications/
Not really for people wanting the best performance, it's severely limited by a 100mbit WAN interface port https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTAC51U/specifications/ why would Asus do this?! If it supports speeds up to 300mbs etc the wan port is under specification ???
Older Rt-n66u and the newer ac 66 posted earlier better for people who want the fastest throughout on their router but this is fine for casual users, no idea why Asus would cripple the WAN RJ45 port on this model though... Crazy
Would this then limit my internet speeds if I connected this to my virgin Superhub? I only want to use WiFi and no wired connections. My current speed is 50Mb, would this limit my speed to 10?
No you would get the full 50. In theory anyway. Closer to 100 and you would be pushing it.
Right gotcha. I'm currently on 325mbps and a download speed of 50MB. Hoping this router doesn't limit my speed. Also the RJ45 port says 10/100, not sure what that means? I take it this is the port where you would connect it to the Superhub?
10/100. Means 10Mbps or 100Mbps, whichever the device supports.
If you are on 325Mbps you really need a router with gigabit wan, 10/100/1000 otherwise your superhub will be connecting to your router with a severly limiting 100Mbps throughput.
So I won't get the full 325Mbps or 50MB download speed with this router? I'm so confused with all the numbers, sorry for being a pain. I just don't want to limit my download speed or bandwidth
No mate you definately wont.
Damn, looks like I'll be taking this back then. I'll try it and see what speeds I get, if I get capped at 12.5MB/s this is going straight back.
Hopefully Asus just got the specs wrong on their site, because there's no way you can advertise something as giving you up to 433Mbps speeds when it is actually impossible

Theoretically it can give you 433Mbps between WLAN devices, if it meets what the box says, which is most likley full of marketing **** and "up to" type of data.

Anyway give it a go and report back ;)
RT-AC51U: This model does not use Broadcom chipset and therefore cannot run Tomato firmware
Not tomato - no buy ;)

Me too..would cost me more to get to Newcastle then Poland!
It's a nice change to find a deal like this from Newcastle. They're usually from London, Manchester, Birmingham or Glasgow.
nice thanks
I have just come back from Wroclaw. Great place! And also a great hub from which to travel to other places in Poland. The airport bus takes you opposite the train station. You can buy train tickets online in advance http://www.intercity.pl/en/ or from the ticket machines at the train station if you prefer.

I took the train to Krakow which was great and there were power points at each seat of the train journey (I booked a train comparment). It took just over 3 hours and cost less than £9. I took my portable mifi with me to entertain myself on the journey (Three feel at home data sim) so the three hours flew past.

Bought. Not a great offer but still a pretty good one, doesn't deserve the cold vote. 'Apple certified refurbished' tablets are not like other sellers refurbs, they have new batteries and new casings which makes them functionally and cosmetically 'as new'. This is the cheapest 9.7" currently available, plus I had £25 of clubcard vouchers which made it quite sensibly priced. Thanks.

No. It's even worse.

The 4G is for the cellular data function rather then indicating the version.
we have 2 ipad4's both running the latest ios both working fine. browsing, Netflix, YouTube and minecraft are their main uses and they handle them all fine. still not a hot deal tho. should be £150 max by now.

Ipad 4's are effectively unusable. Ipad mini 2 new for £239 at curry's is a much better buy

Effectively unuseable. What a load of rubbish. I have an Ipad 2 and a mini1. I use them! They are slower than they used to be since IOS 8 which is a little frustrating but unuseable? Please don't come on here and spout a load of crap.

Maybe I have a different use case to you. For work at sixth form they are now almost unusable, maximum 3 apps in the background and incredible keyboard lag. Constant crashes and restarts, and a lot of my friends with the same ipad 4 have the same situation.

Freezing cold in December, not really a holiday when you cant swim your miles from the town its not worth the money at all who's going to go to a water park in that weather. If it were the Canaries it would be different. Best you can hope for is 15c/58f.

I have ordered a charm from here recently and it has come quite quickly, and the glittery side looks nice. However the image is really dark. I have messaged them about it, and they have promised my guaranteed happiness and satisfaction! I have emailed them photos of the charm, and the original image as they asked, and now they say that the original image is dark and pixelated. Surely their software should have picked up if the image wasn't suitable! I don't think it is dark, and when uploaded onto the site it looked lovely and clear! They better re-do it!
there will always be bad reviews - ive had my bracelet with 6 charms for over a year now and no issues... https://www.google.co.uk/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=oFvzVe_yJe2q8weqrZ-IBA#q=do+soufeel+charms+fit+pandora+bracelets

Surprised as. We have had nine fiats and are currently on our 6th ALFA and the only real problem has been the dealers who are useless. But fortunately there are some good ALFA indys out there.
Really pleased that you have had good fortune. I forgot to mention the dealer network, absolutely laughable. One of my Fiat purchases lasted all of two days. The dealer made such a **** up, the car had to be returned or legal action would have followed. Honestly, I take no great pleasure in slagging off Fiat as they design lovely cars, unfortunately building them is a problem, for me anyway. My favourite two cars were both Fiats. The 500, the last Fiat we bought was a design icon, but almost killed my wife. My previous Fiat to that was a Grande Punto Multijet Sporting. 1.9 diesel that went like stink, and great fuel economy. Alas, Fiat no more as my wife has threatened to have me sectioned as insane if I buy another one!

but its a fiat....
what is wrong with it

being a fiat? (Waits for people still stuck in the 70,s and 80,s)
wasn't it fiat 500's that wouldn't go uphill and wouldn't do anything about it untill watchdog covered the story
Yes but it was a certain engine and it was sorted with an ECU update.
Perhaps nobody should buy Vauxhalls because the Zafira and Corsa catch fire or Toyota because of brake problems, or BMW for wiring and ECU issues, or do I need to go on?
Well said Jim. Live in wet Swansea wales and Have had fiat and alfas all my life and never suffered from tin worm
Ah! So the answer to stopping rust is keep them wet! Thanks for your advice.
Have you actually owned a fiat?
I have owned 12 since the 1980's onwards until my final purchase in 2012. Never again. Build quality shocking. I could write a book about FIAT (FIX IT AGAIN TONY, FIX IT AGAIN TOMORROW). Absolute ****.
I can list them all if you like.

Surprised as. We have had nine fiats and are currently on our 6th ALFA and the only real problem has been the dealers who are useless. But fortunately there are some good ALFA indys out there.

Hi, can you give the settings you've used?

Sure,

Picture mode STANDARD
Backlight 8
Contrast 63
Brightness 51
Colour 51
Hue 0
Colour Temperature Neutral
Sharpness MIN
Reality creation manual
Resolution 89

Noise reduction OFF
MPEG noise reduction OFF
Film mode OFF

Advanced Settings:

Advanced contrast enhancer MEDIUM
Black corrector LOW
Gamma -1
Clear white OFF
Live colour LOW
LED motion mode OFF

I've fiddled with settings for a long long time and quite happy with these settings. Very good with sports/football as well.

If anyone tries these settings, let me know what you think.

Hi, can you give the settings you've used?
Managed to get a half decent image for HD now, some SD are ok but some are not great with these settings. To get a better SD picture you lose the better quality HD picture when playing with settings... so annoying.

Football in HD is great.
Gogglebox in SD is not so great.

But i guess i need to stop watching catchup and just watch it on the HD channels.
So glad I never jumped at this. Too many 'average reports' and poor sound reviews.

No doubt it is good for the money...bit remember at full RRP price this set was sub £500 and so maybe we shouldn't have too much expectation. For an average tv set at a good price it's a good deal. But I think anyone wanting a 'good' tv, it's probably unrealistic to expect this to be a 'great' tv.
Is there an owner's thread anywhere? Or settings guidance?

If there's one game Scotland are targeting for a win it'll be this one!
Of course it is everyone hates the english! But i can't see england losing! The scots might have had a chance if we had beat NZ but england need to go all out and try and beat aus for the first time in twenty years too!
Great deal. Hoping aus win to set up a big game with England next week!:P
Hope Scotland get to host it one day.

but it just doesn't seem to "stick" to my skin at all. Completely gone after an hour or two :(

So why not apply to clothing?
There's definitely something in skin chemistry. Paul is a midgie magnet (up in the Highlands) and he insists nothing works (not even the cheapie remedy Avon's Skin So Soft which has Citronella in it).

I'm just as happy to spray on a £1 scent as a Chanel. My favourite ever Chanel, Allure Sensuelle, I have in parfum and EDP form, I breathe it in like it's an angel's breath for a few hours but it just doesn't seem to "stick" to my skin at all. Completely gone after an hour or two :( Many other Chanels linger all day long.

-they are real btw, I have thrown the book at a few counterfeit perfume sellers!

Edited By: louiselouise on Oct 08, 2016 14:54: a
Here Louise, about the skin chemistry thing. I've noticed people say things like that and 'X only lasts so many hours on my skin'. But when I've put a scent on a card, sometimes they have lasted days. So if skin can knock a scent so badly why not apply it to say a shirt collar where it can persist and perform better and longer? But people still put them on their skin. (Only new to fragrances so a nooobie question).

About the price maybe that poster, like me, is more concerned about the time and cost of going into town just to get these.

How long does the Gold last on boyf?
He says he sprayed it at 9.30am and the scent is still lingering.

Not sure about the kerosene and aniseed comment, but it could be a skin chemistry thing? Maybe a squirt in store might be required before purchase, though it's hardly breaking the bank!

We added deals to this thread whilst the whatsapp alert was going out. The original deal featured just the sideboard - more items were added this morning on Tesco Direct so instead of posting individually and flooding the forum, we added those items in here so we could add one link to the whatsapp alert. Stock is always limited with this sort of thing

I'm struggling as well.
Connected to my VPN. Signed in to US App Store. Downloaded Freedom Pop then registered. After creating the account and going to the verification bit some error popped up but it still sent the email with the code. I then went back and I logged in from the start of the app where it says log in or create new account then it gave me options for a new number but they're all UK numbers.

Exactly same issue, I tried on different days with different VPN software and same error, so I gave up. I guess it was possible when the OP tried, but by the looks of things, they might have closed that way to verify the account through a VPN?

Thanks. Strange, still getting an invalid error when trying to validate the account via the VPN. I'd be interested to know if anyone is able to create and activate a new US account to see how that's done at present :S

FreedomPop gives free numbers too on iPhones ...just download app, install and sign up for new account: no credit card required, just email address to confirm registration. Free 200 mins/texts, no internet of course. I use them to sign up for Tesco International Calling Card, as every time they(Tesco) give £1 for free for new number. Done more than 50 times and speak for free on international numbers...
They give out 200mb internet.

I know. But their service is CRAP!!!CRAP BIG WAY....
Three is giving 200MB free every month too and now all of Europe is "Feel at Home" so can use allowance and make call as in UK. Reliable provider, not crappy VoiP as FreedomPop...

We have been to this hotel it was lovely although the weather was nice and only a day of rain I would go back
Pools aren't generally heated at any time of the year unless the sun comes out and does its stuff, but October is a much cooler month for the Balearics and swimming in the pool is a shockingly cold experience.
One more thing to consider in October is that things are generally closing down at end of season.
went here last year. 3 stars is a more realistic rating. water park uses salt water, not really an issue but handy to know up front.
We went to Menorca a few years ago in the October school half term and vowed never again.
Lots of shops and bars were either closed or about to close down for the winter but at this price I'm tempted to book even if we just have to stay on the complex.

You can easy carry a weeks worth of clothes in 10kg and im sure you can go 7 hrs without airline food or just bring sarnies.

People are too precious, they dont hide the fact they charge for extras.

Awful airline if things go wrong.
I concur.
Knowing your flight has gone tech, then waiting 8 hours to cancel it (whilst people are actually stood in the check in queue) shows an incredible disdain for their customers. They refuse to acknowledge EC reg 261 either, meaning you'll need to go to court to retrieve costs. Google Norwegian Air compensation for some interesting reading, class actions etc.
You have been warned....

Sounds a bit like my one and only forever Jet2 experience.

I see Norwegian Air Customer service is alive and well this morning for once!!

That's the first and most recent article on google...there are plenty more if you care to look.....clearly some people think Norwegian are wonderful, so you won't.

Here's hoping that your flights are never cancelled or delayed due to 'extraordinary circumstances'.......

Google any airline in that way and you'll get the same result, a full page of customer complaints :) happy to be proven wrong :)
