nice, shoes delivered & good price
The two-piece navy blue narrow stripe I ordered on Saturday has arrived today - 50% wool 50% polyester.
I must say the quality and fit are well above what I was expecting for £89 (£80.10 after the APRIL10 discount code).
Waiting for the TCB to track at 8% on ex-VAT value of £66.75, so £5.34.
Well pleased :)
Ordered a racing green 3 pc suit (as I'm too fat for mine!) for just over £100 if cashback tracks! 8.4% on Topcashback...
HEAT!

Nice.

was there yesterday with my family. Average wait for a ride 40 minutes. Absolute disaster and waste of money
Guess you don't go to theme parks very often then. 40 mins is a pretty short queue. Personal advice - stay away at busy periods (like next weekend - at least you went before half the country went onto half term!
For those who don't mind waiting - I think Legoland is amazing!
We got the annual passes through tesco 2 years ago and went about 10 times in the year.

THIS! We went in September last year for 2 days, stayed at the Hotel and had a brilliant time. Walked on everything. It's all about timing with LEGOLAND and all theme parks really. If you go on a bank holiday/during school holidays obviously it's going to be busy. No point moaning about it!
Recently came back from Legoland. It was busy on monday (bank holiday) and surprisingly busy on Tuesday too. Long waiting ques, Q Bot for an additional cost and lets you reserve the ride but only once the ride waiting time is up.
Overall lot of walk and few rides. We waited 45 minutes and ride time was less than 3 minutes.
Dont think I'll be going back to Legoland again.

Edited By: asifbutt on Apr 20, 2017 21:16
This is cheaper than buying tickets direct!
Any advice on the Q Bot please?
I am not visiting Legoland until they put some sort of cap on number of people allowed to start with. It's like herds are allowed to wonder as they like. Not surprise, why would they offer second day free /discounts, because management is aware that family of four would not have chance to get on all rides at least once in one day, looking at number of people allowed to graze in.

As mentioned on this forum and on previous thread, it's a queue land. I got two boys 7 & 4 and it's very difficult to keep them entertained for an hour while waiting for their turn to get on five minutes ride. I can go on for another half an hour but rather not waste my time. I will take my kids somewhere else and there are lots of places, where they can have decent day out for the money I pay for Legoland and top of that a lifetime memories of crying children while waiting on queue. NEVER AGAIN…..

I bought a small kingdian ssd for my htpc about two years ago, cos it was the only ssd I could afford with my limited budget.

It's a little slower than the sandisk ssd in my laptop but hasnt missed a beat.

If you dont have the budget for a branded option & it's not for important data then it's certainly an option imo.

commodity prices for flash memory has risen due to supply restrictions but also the price inflation from Brexit has also played its part...
Is there a way to work out whether the price in Euro or Dollars has risen to the same extent.
That would go some way to quantify the Brexit effect.

You could try to use amazon as a baseline and check camelcamelcamel against the UK site and see if the price correlation deviates around brexit time. You'd need to try a bunch (> 25) of products to get any proper statistical significance.

anyone buying 2 day ticket be warned you can't upgrade to merlin passes
Thanks for the heads up op

Was going to do this last time they had the offer.

I chose the Maidenhead Holiday Inn. For 2 days park and the hotel I think it is a very good deal, even if you did the 1 adult child free offers you'd be looking at £90 for first day and £90 for a second which is already more than a lot of the offerings here.

shame they want an extra £100 for 1 more child

Oh no :/ that's ruined it for us then

Nice specs. I would be concerned about the stipulation that any sort of Android or Windows upgrades messing with the tablet and voiding the warranty. Presumably this doesn't mean that Windows couldn't be updated, new version of Android installed, etc?

That's the standard warning they put on ALL their tablet, phone and PC offerings. Nothing to worry about

Very good deal, picked up 6 T-shirts for holidays.
Seems to only apply to all the "3 for £25" tshirts.

Still a good deal, ordered a few for summer.
My order arrived today, medium is the right size, they fit well. A step above primark or whatever you'd expect for £5. Am happy with my purchase.
not working well. code only applies to CERTAIN £12.5 t-shirts

Gugla

Use code VB20 for a further 20% off... so t-shirts are only £4!
Doesn't stack codes !
Worked for me, I didn't even need to apply the 5TEES code as the price dropped to £5 as soon as I added it to my basket.
Think they changed it - doesnt stack now.

Not really, I don't mind bundling the kids in the car early and getting down for opening time, however I'd be loathed to then do the journey in reverse the same day. Makes for two gentler days, I'm probably 3.5 hours from there. I do get your point, but it takes some of the driving out of it (and not always good driving the day before).
ariddle
I've never bought into the whole 2 day 1 night thing.
If you need a hotel then you must be a fair drive away, losing a fair chunk of either day getting there/back or setting off really early/getting home late, you cant really enjoy yourself.

Makes more sense to offer more nights than days, so you get your full time in the park and time to relax after.

I've never really thought of it like that, but, I totally agree.

No his participation in the the community, supporting the running costs of the website and being in the declining number of so called "members" who are carrying the parasites who take and give nothing means he is entitled to his opinion, the fact he hasn't justified it is what makes it "stupid".

It's £39 online too.
But delivery for me is £35...
Unbelievable.
Ikea delivery is always £35 for everyone anywhere.... except small items can be delivered using normal carrier service which cost about £7
So the bottom-line cost of the wardrobe is almost twice the advertised price...
Well yes if you have to have it delivered.... £35 delivery charge is a fixed price no matter you are buying only one piece of furniture or furnitures for your entire house iirc so someone would find it to be all right.
Considering there are only ~20 stores in the whole country, I would say that delivery is the only viable option for a LOT of people.
Sure and is that the OPs fault? Its a good price for those with Ikea nearby.
No, but that small detail was conspicuously absent.
Ok I'll give you that maybe OP should have said collection only or stated delivery price. But I'm sure the few extra minute or so finding delivery charge has not endangered your life and busy schedule.
You have no idea how busy my schedule is.

Considering that a significant majority of the UK population live at urban population centres hence within a decent distance of an IKEA store, I would say that delivery is an unnecessary option for a LOT of people.

3-11? Are you **** serious? 12-15 young adults, 16 and up adults?

3-16 Kids
17-18 Young Adults
18 up - Adults

I always think its stupid and fraudulent that they never charge the same, why does it even matter? you can have like 10 kids go and its cheaper then 2 adults

Thanks, I'm going in Feb, looking at going along the coast to St Lucia as well.
We stayed in the o on cloof in Bantry Bay lovely little place.
We had a leaflet given to us at the hotel and they booked the day trips for us. 1 to see cape of good hope and whales and penguins and another for wine tasting. Took a hop on hop off bus one day that also takes you to the cable car for table mountain

Such an amazing city. So much to see and it's so cheap once you there. Went to the sort of high end restaurant you wouldexpect to pay hundreds of pounds for in London had 5 course wine and food tasting menu cost £30 all in. Loads of decent day trips to see whales, go on a vineyard tour, go up table mountain etc

Did you get some sort of guide to find the day trips etc or just found it all out there?

The titles are obviously a blatant attempt to cash in on the hugely successful Stieg Larsson 'The Girl Who..' trilogy.
While not being brilliant, they are surprisingly decent reads though.

I read book 1, just because it was free at the time on Kindle. It wasn't bad, but nothing special and definitely not a patch on the Stieg Larsson books.
But its mainly the rip off titles that i have a problem with.

This deal is no longer available, but it's not a great router for those with internet faster than 25MB/s anyway. Can't expire this deal on my phone so if someone is willing to do it for me that would be brilliant

if the wan port is 100megabit / 12.5megabyte
it is good for internet up to 100megabit / 12.5megabyte

It is very simple

Hey! Yeah I decided to take this back, bought a Netgear PL1000 powerline kit and works like a charm! Control panel says I'm on 1Gbps and download speed is my full download of 56MB/s. Very happy I bought powerline over a new router.

https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTAC51U/specifications/
Not really for people wanting the best performance, it's severely limited by a 100mbit WAN interface port https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTAC51U/specifications/ why would Asus do this?! If it supports speeds up to 300mbs etc the wan port is under specification ???
Older Rt-n66u and the newer ac 66 posted earlier better for people who want the fastest throughout on their router but this is fine for casual users, no idea why Asus would cripple the WAN RJ45 port on this model though... Crazy
Would this then limit my internet speeds if I connected this to my virgin Superhub? I only want to use WiFi and no wired connections. My current speed is 50Mb, would this limit my speed to 10?
No you would get the full 50. In theory anyway. Closer to 100 and you would be pushing it.
Right gotcha. I'm currently on 325mbps and a download speed of 50MB. Hoping this router doesn't limit my speed. Also the RJ45 port says 10/100, not sure what that means? I take it this is the port where you would connect it to the Superhub?
10/100. Means 10Mbps or 100Mbps, whichever the device supports.
If you are on 325Mbps you really need a router with gigabit wan, 10/100/1000 otherwise your superhub will be connecting to your router with a severly limiting 100Mbps throughput.
So I won't get the full 325Mbps or 50MB download speed with this router? I'm so confused with all the numbers, sorry for being a pain. I just don't want to limit my download speed or bandwidth
No mate you definately wont.
Damn, looks like I'll be taking this back then. I'll try it and see what speeds I get, if I get capped at 12.5MB/s this is going straight back.
Hopefully Asus just got the specs wrong on their site, because there's no way you can advertise something as giving you up to 433Mbps speeds when it is actually impossible

Theoretically it can give you 433Mbps between WLAN devices, if it meets what the box says, which is most likley full of marketing **** and "up to" type of data.

Anyway give it a go and report back ;)
RT-AC51U: This model does not use Broadcom chipset and therefore cannot run Tomato firmware
Not tomato - no buy ;)

Pity it's from Newcastle, otherwise would have been very tempted at that price.
Me too..would cost me more to get to Newcastle then Poland!
It's a nice change to find a deal like this from Newcastle. They're usually from London, Manchester, Birmingham or Glasgow.
nice thanks
I have just come back from Wroclaw. Great place! And also a great hub from which to travel to other places in Poland. The airport bus takes you opposite the train station. You can buy train tickets online in advance http://www.intercity.pl/en/ or from the ticket machines at the train station if you prefer.

I took the train to Krakow which was great and there were power points at each seat of the train journey (I booked a train comparment). It took just over 3 hours and cost less than £9. I took my portable mifi with me to entertain myself on the journey (Three feel at home data sim) so the three hours flew past.

Bought. Not a great offer but still a pretty good one, doesn't deserve the cold vote. 'Apple certified refurbished' tablets are not like other sellers refurbs, they have new batteries and new casings which makes them functionally and cosmetically 'as new'. This is the cheapest 9.7" currently available, plus I had £25 of clubcard vouchers which made it quite sensibly priced. Thanks.

No. It's even worse.

The 4G is for the cellular data function rather then indicating the version.
we have 2 ipad4's both running the latest ios both working fine. browsing, Netflix, YouTube and minecraft are their main uses and they handle them all fine. still not a hot deal tho. should be £150 max by now.

Ipad 4's are effectively unusable. Ipad mini 2 new for £239 at curry's is a much better buy

Effectively unuseable. What a load of rubbish. I have an Ipad 2 and a mini1. I use them! They are slower than they used to be since IOS 8 which is a little frustrating but unuseable? Please don't come on here and spout a load of crap.

Maybe I have a different use case to you. For work at sixth form they are now almost unusable, maximum 3 apps in the background and incredible keyboard lag. Constant crashes and restarts, and a lot of my friends with the same ipad 4 have the same situation.

Water park is only open during summer months
Freezing cold in December, not really a holiday when you cant swim your miles from the town its not worth the money at all who's going to go to a water park in that weather. If it were the Canaries it would be different. Best you can hope for is 15c/58f.
dates are a week before crimbo, so not surprised it has been knocked down in price

You won't see people in that pool in December .

the indoor pool has a charge apparently

The indoor pool was part of the spa, but with the AI I think you got one free visit to the spa (did it whilst the children were in the kids club ).
saiqa123
do you have to pay to use their pool? because i read somewhere you have to and it put us off

The hotel pool is free, but they have their own watermark that is included with the all inclusive (have to pay for it if you are not AI).
