Reading reviews (USA users), the apps eventually stop working as updates are few and far apart. I have purchased the identical fridge but without the screen, paid 1980 about 1 month ago.
I made my own by sticking my 21 inch HP Slate to the front of my normal Samsung fridge using duck tape. Total cost 700 quid
wish I had the money..lol
There are people who might have spent £15 grand upwards on a new kitchen, and prefer spending their money and time in there opposed to being sat in front of the tv, they might consider this a good purchase.

The price oO could always try Flubit. So for this price you can get a 4k OLED, Good NON smart American F/F & a good spec tablet and have some money left to fill the fridge :)
Where do you put the 55" oled on the fridge, won't be able to open the door,,have'nt thought it thru.
oO what are you on about? I said for the price of the fridge you can get.......... I didn't say buy the stuff separately and stick them on to the fridge.

Good deal on previous price but I would really recommend using tinned Tom's and adding store cupboard herbs to your liking. 1600g of Tom's here for £1.39 Toms Dried herbs should last a couple of years too.

Wanting to book for April and its giving me the £160 family ticket, but you can only book your outbound journey, what do you do for the return? What if its fully book on your return?

it's an open return I.e. flexible any train. If you know which train you want for the return,
it might be possible to reserve seats at the station.

I don't understand why it is cold either. If you bring a child and get the family ticket it is cheaper than buying an adult return ticket.
All I need now is a child . ..
What would happen if you purchased a family ticket but travelled alone?
It would be considered as if you travelled without a ticket.
Seems very harsh. Suppose your children were too unwell to travel?
if they were to allow it without kids if kids are too unwell, all peak passengers kids will "suddenly" be ill.

May be so, but that doesn't mean it's like travelling without a ticket when you actually HAVE a ticket

It's like using a Edinburgh to Glasgow ticket to go from Birmingham to London. Yes, you're travelling with a ticket, but you'll be prosecuted as if you didn't have a ticket.

Many thanks! :)

Mine expired last year and I was waiting for the right deal. Saw one before Christmas and glad I held out. Half price is good so went for worldwide.

Can't understand why people mark these deals as cold, when it is a good deal. Yes, you can get it free at the library, but unless you are looking for just a small piece of information about one person, the time allowed (think half an hour or an hour in some libraries) doesn't mean you will find what you are looking for.

Just a point about your Family Tree when you have a lapsed membership. You can still add to it from other sources, such as Family Search, but remember to add the source so that you can find it again.

Can recommend the Course as I did it last year.

Question - Is Ancestry a good site for a newbie to start researching family tree?
In short.
YES
As long as you can start up with your own tree back to the 1901, you can then use all the census and other materials to build further back

Thanks for reply. I have during a free weekend on findmypast made a start, which got me back to early 1900s, but ran out of time. Ended up trying to use other web based resources to try and go further back, but piecing it together was more guess work than anything else.
One other point. I use separate family tree software to build my family trees and use ancestry just for research. I'm not then restricted to building the tree whilst having to be subscribed to ancestry. The downside to this approach is you don't get matches with other family trees on ancestry
If anyone is still having difficulty accessing this offer, the way I did it was to copy and paste the link into my seldom used Chrome browser which didn't have me logged into my ancestry account. Logged in using my existing ancestry details and paid the discounted subs and then logged in using my normal internet explorer browser. It might be that you can simply logout from ancestry before you copy and paste the link into your normal browser. Thanks again OP, wish I could vote HOT again

Many are not aware that the queueing is a very deliberate and unfortunate business practice which many places are designed to include. If each visitor spends, for example, 3 hours queueing and 3 hours being entertained then the "entertainment" required to be provided by the company is effectively halved.
ozgur
We live very close to Legoland and for that reason alone we had annual passes for few years. In our last year (2 years ago), it got so bad that we stopped going there at all due to terrible queues for stupid 2 minute rides. So, we didn't use the pass we had, even though we are 15 minutes away literally. Average wait is well over 30 minutes for small rides and 45-60 minutes for more attractive rides now. And, after a few times, everything else around stop being interesting. Even the music they use is the same for the last 5 years. My favourite now is Adventure Island in Southend. It worths driving 1.5 hours there. No queues, no hassle, just nice rides and very fair prices. And, if you need a break from the rides, you are in a nice place by the sea to shop or eat.

I've had annual pass for Legoland in past when lived in Kent. I've thought about getting Merlin passes as we in North East now but last year we had Lightwater Valley passes and it was great in there and we went about 6 times at least on a weekend.

Title should include the FULL cost of car hire. OP mentions this so why not included? You'll need to add either £30 or £50 to the price. BUT, check VERY CAREFULLY who you book a car with - the quote included is from Interent, who has appalling reviews on TrustPilot. But then again in my experience of looking at hire companies, virtually all in Europe are crooks. NEVER book a car with Goldcar for instance! But as said, they're all terrible in Europe and will con you in most cases if they possibly can.

Best take out separate cover with a UK insurance company to cover excess charges - costs I believe anywhere from about £10 for a single trip or maybe £20 to £30 for annual cover.

Yes I too got ripped off by goldcar put me off hiring a car abroad ever again

Because not everyone will take out additional insurance. Some people may want to take it out with the car hire company direct, others may take out a seperate insurance cover or some people, like myself have the seperate excess insurance included with my annual fee on my credit card so I never need to take out extra insurance. It would be like including travel insurance in a deal. Some people take out a policy each time they go away, some people have an annual policy and some people I know don't bother at all with insurance!

Dubious that the previous price was given at 24/11, a month before Xmas, before "the sales", it's probably not such a give away price. Demo videos on the web page didn't work on my phone either. Tempted but it's not really a feature packed tent except for the inflatability.

How has this got to nearly 600 degrees?...
It's determined by a few (or in this particular case, a lot) people simply clicking on the 'Hot' button. You'll find 9/10 that the button is pressed when a member sees a specific deal as a bit of a bargain and/or somehow relevant to their lives.
Once a certain amount of votes have been collected and calculated, the temperature is shown, in this case, it's 600o+ (_;)

I think you were right first time Buzz. A 'few' people with mega-heavy weightings!

If seeing proud and majestic animals caged and stripped of all their natural instincts is your thing...
Personally, I think it's abhorrent.
Where else would you see them? Travel the world to far away places? I prefer zoo's, a nice selection of animals all in one place.

Ever watched Planet Earth II (for example)? Far, far more interesting and close access to animals in their natural habitat.

The way Chessington keeps their animals is disgusting, I can't believe they get away with it in this day and age. People need to boycott these kind of zoos.

These kind? All Zoo's, surely.

No, that's why I put "in store at Guildford"

yup I did mention but apparently the "guy with the beard" who is an expert at outdoor items @ b&q confirmed it is still £50 as per the board.

Nevermind :) I wasn't too fussed but thought it would be a good addition for next year. I only work minutes from there and it's part of my usual lunchtime walk so I'll keep checking.

Other than the above, not much on "sale" in the guildford one at all

In the now but still 50. Scanned through 50 too

Went to my local Tesco this morning and none of the Christmas stuff had been reduced. At least the shelf labels hadn't been changed.
In the morning they probably didn't update the shelf labels, As some store were closed on boxing day.

I find some Tesco stores very slow to update the shelf prices to offer or reduced to clear prices.
