Been paid out for every transaction so far from earnway very quickly. Really are a great company.
This thread reminded me about a £20 off any hotels.com booking offer on here in May. I have just checked and it is still only in 'tracked' status despite being booked on 25th May for a stay that weekend and it saying "we’ll pay you this money around 6 weeks after you’ve completed your stay. " So that's over 9 weeks so far...
The 10% cashback Laterooms bookings looks good and could work out better in some cases.
Still waiting for mine also from May

I wouldn't want to go to Paris after all those attacks

edit sarcasm
its better to buy a year pass, go on disneyland Paris website, change your country to France and the year passes are there, just buy at the gate when you arrive, also go again within a year and you don't need to buy any passes

Any good offers for a family of 4, 3 adults, 1 child?

O
Been to Rhodes twice last time we went all inclusive and stayed at the Smartline cosmopolitan it was great very hot weather it was July the last week of the world cup was on got to watch the Final in our hotel bar and it was rammed. someone posted "beach at ixia isnt the best and i think you have to cross the main road" thats right its all pebble beach and theirs some very fast moving traffic down the road but we loved the walk of a evening along the beach into town for a drink it was very warm. I wouldnt go in October thats the end of the season and it will be very quiet with most places shut down for the winter.

Done. I'm taking the baby sitter instead. :D
I've stayed at this hotel - Poppy is a really nice hostess - if anyone is thinking of going, be sure to take a hike up the road about a mile or so to Lardos village, a proper working village with a very nice atmosphere - particularly nice restaurant right as you walk into the village which basically bisects the triangle corner junction leading into town square (can't remember restaurant name) that does wonderful food at a great price.

Dont worry, the offer still applies even if you begin the holiday on the 23rd.

looks interesting but the bit about 260 euro deposit being refunded 15 days after departure subject to deductions and a 56-126 euro end of stay cleaning deposit again returned 15 days later with deductions made if apartment requires clang after you leave makes me a bit uneasy.
By this time you will be back in the UK and therefore it would be very difficult to dispute if they make claims you have broken items in the apartment or left the place unclean.
Timestamped pictures just before you leave showing the condition. Can't argue with it.
Anyone know if any of the places on offer are easy to travel to by train?
I decided to book one for 209.50
just booked one for £309.50, I have no idea about the place, but still wanted to try and see. Hopefully good

*** BEWARE ***
I went there 2 years ago, Bulgaria is the most hostile place I have ever been. The locals are not nice to tourists, people being surrounded and robbed every day on the resorts. A pregnant couple we met were threatened at knife point for their belongings by 5 men on the main strip in broad daylight. I wouldn't go there is my life depended on it.

Sounds nicer than Stevenage!
Unless you have two children under the school age you would need to take them out of school. Plus you still need to find cheap flights and pay for transfers.

Not really a good deal

Little to none. Bulgaria is quite safe to visit on tourism though be mindful of travelling outside Sofia as local land is often controlled by criminal gangs who demand protection money or straight out tithes. A shame as the land is quite lovely

The last 2 Travelodge's we stayed in were dirty with outdated bathrooms.
Blood on the undersheet / toilet dirty & bathroom not cleaned properly in a very long time.
Bedside lamps looked as if they had never been cleaned, same went for the kettle.
This was all at the one in view of the Dartford crossing (Kent side) and the one on the A2/M2 at Chatam was not a lot better, both times "some" money was refunded but never again for us.
Also if you have a complain trying to get hold of anyone online / phone is like getting blood out of a stone.
Those ones are rough because they are mostly occupied by contractors who share one room between 5 or 6.

No they are rough (read Dirty) as the staff are given no time to properly clean the rooms !

Not a deal that suits me but can say we have stayed here 6 times and its a great hotel.

Price looks fab for those that can avail.
So I got 2 weeks in Spain in June [in the season] - paid 1200. If I'd get same standard on this hols [extra luggage, hal board etc] I'd pay 480 for 5 days. Which gives me around 1400 off season. It isn't good deal.
Try to upgrade to half board or all inclusive when you get there, not a lot will be open in.Malgrat del mar or Santa Susanna
Calella isn't far away, good shopping street and big beach.
Lloret de mar is the biggest resort in Costa Brava/Costa Maresme and also worth a visit as is Barcelona.

Cold for me, Paradise Park is a pretty awful zoo, the animals are in small enclosures many of them just concrete floors. I went last year and felt sorry for many of the animals, they were in pretty grotty enclosures and many of them were just standing motionless looking very sorry for themselves. I wouldn't ever go back there again, there are much nicer zoos to visit.
I was there yesterday and couldn't agree more - the cages are really small and whilst the big cats are amazing to see a lot of them looked forlorn.
Hi all - if you're having any technical difficulties or don't understand anything as part of the deal on the EarnAway side of things please email [email protected], use the live chat on the site and we'll do our best to help you out or comment here. We've had a look at the search issue and it appears there was a bit of a bug which we've (hopefully) fixed - thanks ever so much for highlighting this to us.

anyone been recently using this offer... any rides closed?

I do uderstand peoples opinions about disabled people paying after all they are having day out like everyone else.....however some of them cannot use any rides so therefore should not have to pay full amount (nor in my opinion should ANYONE who isn't using the rides but who IS accompanying people who are riding)
I'm not registered disabled at moment however I do have an illness that means I cannot stand for long lengths of time and therefore I was entitled to a priority pass for theme park which allowed me and my children quicker access to rides......believe me I'd rather be able to stand in long queues and never suffer the daily pain I do.....than end up being the subject of other disgruntled theme park users who look at me and see a "normal person" but do not understand that although myself and my children enjoy the rides.....we could never go on them if I was expected to stand for an hour or two in each queue.....I just couldn't do it! So next time you see someone as a "priority rider" have a heart and think that maybe they have to go through a lot every day in order to qualify for such "special treatment" .......

Personally I have no issue with disabled people being granted free passes. I don't really see this as a problem to be honest. This has no bearing at all on the biggest bug bear in theme parks, which is lengthy queues.

Compare this to say, paid-for "fast passes" which most parks seem to offer. There are few things in life more infuriating than standing in a queue for 2 hours while smirking swines swan past you, in their own special queue, because they paid for the privilege to do so. Last time I went to Universal Studios I watched people queue in the fast-pass, then immediately rejoin the fast-pass queue to reride, again and again, apparently completely oblivious or uncaring to the fact that each time they rode again they extended the queue for the rest of us. It's expensive enough paying for theme parks without having to pay outrageous fees to make the queues palatable.

Disney deserve a huge amount of credit for ditching this approach and offering fast passes that are more like pre-bookings.

Blackpool is a complete dump full of deadbeats. Keep an eye open for the horrible Gypsy woman near Coral Island who puts "Lucky Heather" on your lapel, then when you refuse to give her any money she'll get abusive with you.

Any scope for raising with ombudsman or small claims court?
Don't both with this. There is nothing in our area. Missed the 90 days to cancel my subscription by 5 days. As I forgot all about it, as there was nothing local to us. So been charged £29.99 for a year's subscription I won't be using. Email kids pass to get this cancelled expected it wasn't for us. Reply was no refund what terrible customer service. No email to inform you coming to the end of free trial. Not even a email to inform me money has been taken out of my account. So don't was your money.

What happens after 60 days? It's not very clear on their site... Do you have to continue to subscribe or can you cancel. Their Terms and conditions seems to say you can only cancel within 14 days

This is what it say's on the site: After the trial period the membership will auto renew onto a 12month membership at a discounted rate. The yearly rate will be advertised at the time of registration both clearly on the terms and conditions.

The membership can be cancelled at any time during the trial period.

So best make a note on your calendar to cancel or be charged.

Has anyone tried this on breakfast? Wanted to take the kids out for brekky this morning and noticed its excluded in the T&Cs???

There is a different voucher for it-

AR03
Offer valid on breakfast too, but weirdly, their unlimited kids continental breakfast is 99p otherwise, so we land up paying 1p extra with this voucher X)

If you have a Nationwide Credit Card and have signed up to Nationwide Rewards, pay with that card to get 15% cashback on the total bill.

it says 2% for me.
At a harvester yesterday I signed into their free wifi and was sent an email with a five pounds voucher for completing a survey. The catch is that you have to present it as soon as you order so either do this as soon as you arrive (maybe in the car park?) or save it for a return visit.

Don't bother as there is renovation work going on and half the things are missing. Check web site carefully
Not much to look at , that whole area is like something out of fallout 4
once they finish building the slide on there it could be a lot of fun....
Wow, you have to pay to go up that thing?
That thing was like an evil giant terminator robot casting it's glowing red eye over the Olympics. It symbolizes why politicians should never be allowed to commission art. Still, de gustibus non est disputandum and all that. Good deal for seeing it up close and trying to identify its vulnerabilities.

Well personally i left inter regiment rivalry for the arm chair generals like yourself, as long as the men and women who i used to serve beside did there jobs without me having to molly coddle them I did not give a hoot which unit they served with, i met plenty of good soldiers in the stabs (army slang for - Stupid TA **** ) for instance .
I joined the army back in 1991 at the age of 19y with the Cheshire regiment as a rifleman and as you mite put it flipflopped between the Persian gulf and the Balkans gaining a few Operational Service and Campaign Medals just like the rest of the guys and girls who i used to serve with.
Then when the Cheshire regiment got the chop in 2007 i wanted to join the 16th assault brigade and did my Pre-Parachute Selection course and then went into the 3rd Battalion, Parachute Regiment.I then left in 2005 after doing one tour trying to keep the lid on Basra from boiling over.
You must have had a good time machine to have left in 2005 and then transferred to the Parachute Regiment in 2007! Some of your lingo doesn't sound right for someone who's (allegedly) a Para and why the hell would someone who is Parachute Regiment be putting up photos of RLC and AGC cap badges (which by the way is on the first page of google images when you google 16 Air Assault Bde). Dates don't match up, lingo is all wrong, using google images....I smell a walt!
Listen captain birds eye ,if you ever you noticed any of my posts i tend to make typing mistakes as some smart **** already commented and sometimes that includes numbers.
Funnily enough i don't have any digital photos pre 2005 like most people because i simply did not have a camera back then as they where pretty expensive or awful.IF you had ever done any service you would of known that troops get ferried between different barracks all the time to use training faculties that other basses lack.
Anyway Im sorry if i hurt your feelings about the arm chair general remark as it has obviously struck a cord with you so i will let you say what ever you want if it really makes you feel better. I know i was training at Whittington Barracks doing my phase 1 training outside lichfeild which served as a depot for the Prince of Wales' Division back 91 before i joined my home county regiment based at Chester and went on from there.
If you want to carry then we can always talk on ****.COM as i know plenty of the guys on there who acutely know what there talking about and put some service in.
What a Guy! You should change your name to 'Ace' Darksaber so nobody is in any doubt how amazing you are.
I think you made a spelling mistake as well, you missed the R and mistyped C instead of S in Ace :-)

Muslims/Islam extreme or not do not like western society plane and simple.

I am a Muslim and I love everyone, even you :-)

In fact, the only reason I'm sharing this "deal" is because I love you all. I found a lot of good deals on this site during the last ten years, thanks to the kindness of loving and caring people here, of which the majority are westerner non-Muslims. I try to take every opportunity to return the favor as much as I can.

I appreciate it's not for everyone though.
mrdeallover
Agreed everywhere is dangerous but the risks in the likes of Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia are way way WAY bigger and not something I'm willing to expose my family to. Muslims/Islam extreme or not do not like western society plane and simple. I don't want to be settling down to my dinner on holiday worried I'm gonna be shot to ****... For this reason.. I am out..

ALL Muslims?
airbus330
Fair play, if you want to go home, this is a deal. But as a destination for anything else, a combination of Pegasus and Egypt is pretty unattractive(understatement) and stone cold.

Fair enough. Just a quick correction, this flight is actually on Monarch (not Pegasus). I booked on Pegasus though because the Monarch deal wasn't available back then. I have used Pegasus before; while they're not luxury they're still better than UK's budget airlines (easyJet, Monarch and Ryanair - which I all used, and will happily use again).

Apart from the obvious negativity around this deal, the link merely goes to a generic Skyscanner page. So anyone (anyone?) interested in this won't have a clue what to look for.

It is true that the link takes you to the search screen. However, all the details are filled in (departure airport, destination, dates,...etc) and all you need to do is click the 'search flight' button.

Updated title and removed named board games to avoid confusion.
Hmm, tad misleading - Pie Face is £19.99 and Trivial Pursuit is still £23.99 for master edition and £22.99 for family edition, none of which are £9.99 as title implies. Maybe take those examples out of title?

At £10 per person per attraction this is great value for money.
Anyone who thinks it's not worth that much please post some sub £10 ideas/activities/attractions so I can do them as well.
Off the top of my head, how about Quarry Bank Mill at £36.00 per family. Or join the National Trust for under £9 per family per month and get in loads of places.
Really, there are lots of places that are better value than these two. They're poor value when looked at standalone and poor value when compared to other places.

I agree they are good value for money, been looking at national trust memberships.

I have a 3 year old in tow so I don't think quarry bank mill will be of interest to him just yet, or not any more interesting than Liverpool world museum, Manchester museum, MOSI, Imperial War museum which are free (and quite frankly awesome!).
I would agree with these reviews. There was hardly anything entertain my 3 half year old who spent most of the time looking at the Lego displays although these was disappointing too. Was not allowed on the cars to ride. And I was surprised to see the soft play area in the middle of the room. Could have paid £4 for the family to go to our local soft play which is better. As for the Sea life was round in ten minutes spent more time yet again in the soft play area.

Theme parks get busy - get over it!
go early or late in the day with a merlin pass and you can walk onto any ride with no queues
In the middle of the day, when everyone is lining up for the marquee rides - have a picnic (don't buy the expensive and poor quality restaurant food) or walk around the scenic bit - you cant ride rides all day anyway.

I love my merlin pass and so do the kids!

Every visit you make to Blackpool
needs a very full wallet.
should be paying you to go to blackpool !
Isn't this the normal online price though?
So basically, a child's ticket includes entry to the dungeon and the ballroom and adults have technically paid to get into some kids indoor playground?!?! Good price for 7 attractions but should be tailored to suit the age of the ticket holder.
