Main Features of the Henry Hoover Range

• Durability

  Henry Hoover is a tough guy with some still going strong after 20 years of use. They are easy to maintain and repair.

• Capacity

  Depending on the model, capacities range from 6-litres to 15-litres.

• Types

  The Henry Allergy and the Henry Micro are designed to tackle allergens, while Henry Pet and Harry are perfect for pet owners and Henry XL Plus is ideal if you're planning some DIY work.

• Motor

  Motors vary depending on which model you have chosen and what it's designed to do. Most models run at a cost-effective and quiet 620W (72 decibels).

• Suction

  Suction capability ranges from 1750mm H2O to 2300mm H2O.

• Hose

  While hoses vary in length, they are all tough, flexible and should be long enough to cope with vacuuming up and down the stairs. Accessory packs are available that can extend the reach of your hose.

• Cable

  Apart from the Henry XL Plus (12.5 metres), the range has a standard cable of 10 metres. This gives an average operating range of over 26 metres, enough to hoover each floor of an average house without having to switch sockets. Newer models have incorporated an automatic cable retract feature - something lacking on earlier ones.

• Bags

  Henry Hoovers are designed to be used with Numatic HepaFlo bags. Changing Henry Hoover bags is a breeze. The bags are self-seal so dust and debris stay where they should until it is disposed of. The bags are reasonably priced and depending on usage, one should hold up to four months worth of dust! They can be bought in high-street retailers or online. (While the Henry can be used without a bag this isn't recommended as it shortens the life of the filters, plus picking up and emptying a Henry can be tricky work.)

• Filters

  Henrys use the innovative TriTex Filtration System (with some variation depending on model) - dust and debris go where they should, helping to maintain the performance and capacity of the vacuum cleaner.

• Tools

  Each cleaner in the range comes with a collection of tools while extra Henry Hoover parts can be purchased. Standard tools are brushes, crevice tools and steel tubes in different sizes. All models now feature onboard storage.
