kWh!!!! it's a unit of energy not power!
Please bare in mind of we all go and buy these the lights will go off and you're not zero emissions, it's zero tail pipe emissions! You're still killing the world by burning gas. You can save cash, but not the environment. This is the short term future, it's not green and it's not sustainable. Synthesised Bio fuels are the long term future.

But as energy demand goes up energy capacity will be increased. And ofc everyone isn' going to suddenly buy electric vehicles at once. Lastly eventually we will migrate to almost zero carbon energy supplies so even that point of yours is flawed. What silly logic

We collected our new '17 plate 30kwh LEAF Acenta today.
Our deal was a £200 deposit + £238 x 24 for 12,000 miles per year. Got mats and flowers on top, but I think they're a standard sweetener.
The cherry on the cake was that our previous PCP LEAF was 15,000 miles over its mileage limit @ 10p/mile. The Nissan dealer took the car back at no charge to us. A year's mileage for free!
My wife wasn't keen on the cheap flat red colour so she managed to get magnetic red metallic for an extra £175 to seal the deal (so £375 + £238 x 24)
PM me if you're interested in a referral for this offer. I rang a handful of other Nissan dealers and none of them came close. YMMV.

Could you send details of which dealership this was though, looking for a similar deal :) Thanks

we currently have the acenta on a 4 day test drive, blown away by it. never had a leaf prior to this.

the acceleration is crazy, its 0-20 and 0-40 is statistically brilliant and it shows when driving it.

can not recommend this car enough
Fogg1969
If you've not already, try asking on the Speakev forum... If there's a deal to be had you'll more likely find it there.https://speakev.com/threads/brand-new-leaf-acenta-30kwh-199-deposit-199-per-month.22721/

Thanks, had an overnight test drive and I'm impressed with the car.

Just need to find the right deal now. :-)

No downloads I am afraid, but the Android/iOS apps do have an off-line reading function.

Done this loads of times, great magazine as well. I've never called them to cancel as just canx the DD with the bank.
Why not just find scans of old gaming mags online for free? Amiga Format, C&VG etc.

Then hunt for sources for the ROMs/Disk images.
Magazine is a disappointment. But its easy to cancel, just cancel your direct debit
Heated great deal. Yes I have used imagine publishing a lot in the past for magazines. Of course you can cancel at any time, just like with any magazine subscription they deliberately set it up so you can't cancel online and have to call up. That said they don't try and force you to stay on your subscription or anything, the most I have had is them asking if you want to try another mag that is on offer at the time....

I like Retro Gamer a lot, wish there were more retro mags around, think they will come with time as it is a growing niche as there are more and more adult gamers with fond memories of their childhood systems.

An unpopular set that nobody wants, hence cheap. Investors... avoid!
Why they all sold out then!

Of course it'll sell at £30 but, never at £79.99. In the aftermarket, this will be lucky to reach £50.00 let alone £79.99. Tesco's best deal was Darth Vader at £10.34.
I dont buy lego to invest so would not know about that. However this volcano theme has been a total disaster for Lego. Despite testing very well before launch, it's just not resonated with the target market, boys 6-10.

This headline set, featured in all the top ten toy lists, has been on significant discounts since launch and ended the season at less than half rrp.

Got one for my son though, he loves lego and loves volcanoes. The £30 that I paid was a bargain.

I agree give this company a wide berth, avoid like the plague!
I signed up for this offer, they took my £1.00 on 16.03.2017 but I have not ' Received ' my Radio Times. I just rang them and they say it was NOT paid. Terrible customer service and for a measly £1.00 they want me to send proof!
I cancelled the Direct Debit after they took my payment. I think it's not worth the hassle!
For some reason, I'm not getting every issue now - the last issue I had was 21-27 January, and today the issue for 4-10 February has turned up - this has happened twice now. I have called them but they have just said that it has been posted out?

Don't bother with this company if you have had a trial before. They take your order, send you a confirmation and then when nothing gets delivered, you ring them up and they say 'you had a trial before so the answer is a fat NO.

I've had this subscription offer before and I got this year's no problem

Exactly what happened to me, but because I went through TCB, I still got £5.25 cashback for nothing.

Just cancel the Direct Debit with your bank nearer the time of renewal. Your subscription won't continue, and a payment won't be taken. (Direct Debit guarantee applies).
Issue start date is 17th March 2017 which seems a long lead time

"Subscribe to Urban Cyclist and receive your first 3 issues for only £3. After that your subscription will continue at £23.49 every 6 issues by Direct Debit saving 35% PLUS BONUS GIFT -Muc-off kit"
so can you cancel after the 3 months?
I did try to dig deep regarding T&Cs with no luck, anyone has experience in cancelling after three months?

Same here. I'm reading everywhere trying to find out if i can cencel after 3 months or not. It just says that it continues at full price after 3 issues
Haven't ordered from them before but this is on their site

"Q. My subscription includes an Added Extra product. When will this arrive?
A. Our Added Extras are sent separately from your first magazine, and should arrive within 28 days of your order date. If you do not receive your Added Extra in this time, please contact us. "

Good magazine, but there is a likelihood that it will be merged with Edge magazine in the near future, with Edge remaining and Games TM becoming effectively wiped out. They are in the process of being assessed by the Competition & Markets Authority Read full story at Eurogamer here
They were in the process of being assessed by the CMA and that was only in relation to one Sci-Fi magazine. That's been sorted now and the merger has gone through. Go to the article you linked to and read it again. :p
There is a possibility that Future might shut down some titles, but only if they're not profitable to keep running. As far as I know GamesTM is still selling reasonably well, but it's difficult to tell as they don't appear to publish their circulation figures anymore as they're no longer registered with ABC.
At the moment all of Imagine's titles are being marked as being published by Future but they're still being created in Bournemouth. It's when they show signs of shutting that office down that things will look shaky.
Besides, even if GamesTM was shut down/merged you'd still get your subscription changed to Edge, which isn't a bad thing.
Interesting point, but the way that I read the article, it seems to suggest that the Sci-Fi mag was the only one that the CMA forced Future to ring-fence, so all others are fair game.

A few months ago, I received a questionnaire from Imagine publishing which was asking my opinion on the merger as a subscriber - it openly asked 'if Games TM was replaced by Edge, would you continue your subscription, move to a different magazine, etc' which is why I raised the point.

As I said in my first post, it's a good mag and I personally prefer it to Edge so I hope that it continues.

I prefer Games TM as well - I just read on on Readly these days, saves a fortune. Down to 116 pages now right enough, used to be a fat 180!
It's funny now, a mag "selling well (enough)" appears to be 10000-15000 copies a month.

I sobbed when my beloved Amiga Power closed down, I think the last ABC was about 18000 and by that point it had been reduced to a 52 page pamphlet (albeit a still very funny one). This was 1996 right enough but the price wasn't much different compared to now (I think the last run of issues were £4.50). Just goes to show how ALL mags are a niche business these days.

Magazines aren't what they used to be and newspapers are still doing considerably well. Metro is free so regardless of how bias and crap it is, people will still pick up a copy to read.

The voucher is in the tesco xmas magazine that they should have at the front of all stores.
Hi, can anyone tell me how I get this code please? Clicking on Get Deal just takes me to the Tesco home page. Thank you!
Great, looks like it might be time for a quick trip to Tesco where I can check the boxes for damage!! For those of you who have never ordered via Tesco online for courier delivery, Tesco often send out Lego sets in plastic bags with a bit of bubble wrap (not sturdy boxes) so if you want an undamaged set for a gift or for your own collection consider using a Tesco in store deal and pick the best items off the shelf.

A legend for being the first to drop the c bomb on live tv.
Love hot deals.. am always learning

From Wikipedia: In 2006, Dennis wrote a best-seller on how he became a multi-millionaire in How to Get Rich.[11] As well as anecdotes from his life, the book describes his crack cocaine addiction and admission to spending over $100 million on drugs and women.

In contrast to Trump, who has (apparently) never drunk alcohol, smoked or taken recreational drugs. The Americans can't even do being a multi-millionaire correctly ;)

RIP Felix Dennis, who made Richard Branson look like a lightweight - both in terms of business and lifestyle. One of Britain's truly unsung heros.
