Well i received one of my 4 yesterday and the second of 4 today. Both my grey ones which i cant tell no difference in colour which is a good thing. One thing i can see a difference in though is the size!! I havent had them out yet but the fatness of the roll in the bag is bigger on one that the other if that makes sense. So theres obviously issues at times with quality control but then again if they are made from recycled material than that probably explains it. Im just going to wait for my other beige two to come Monday to see which is darker to know which two im keeping. Im hoping the beige are best so it matches the kitchen if not the grey it will be. I hope eveyone else who ordered are happy with theirs.

The runner is the 60x200 size. Nice andlong but not very wide. It would be for a typical hallway size. If thats what youre after then go for that. I wanted something for my long kitchen so went for 2 x 150x100 size so it covers the length i need but also extra wide for my dog.
Couldn't see click and collect either (I'm in Glasgow). Ended up buying two, assume they will be quite thick and hardy (different colours though, as I know they probably won't colour match, judging by reviews!).

Just used it, very nice indeed! just bought 2 floor lamps which should have cost £39.98 but with BOFOF and this offer I paid just £27.08 which also rather randomly included some cheap Maltesers and Galaxy Chocolate too! Very happy.
Nah, I put it in, it said that the discount had been applied but no price changed when I went through to pay.

What a **** site - you have to create an account just to look at the price you will be finally charged. Oh well, they have some fake account on their DB now. Must have loads I imagine.

Can confirm sightings in the Redditch extra store @ £5. There was about 8 left when I bought 1 yesterday.
pervy
there is about 5 in coatbridge they alson have 2 red ones left
Thanks for letting us know pervy (interesting username X)) good to know there's other colours out there. The Tesco website says "Choose from duck egg blue (240-4137), chocolate (302-0564), grey (338-3172), cream (339-1864), plum (608-2195) and black (709-6075). Other sizes also available." so there may be other colours reduced to £5 in this 70 x 130cm size.

The red colour (otherwise known as Berry, still £20 on the website) is here and looks like this http://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-soft-shaggy-rug-70-x-130cm-berry/563-4312.prd

I look at the reduced section in the Metro stores near me which often have brilliant bargains. On that particular day a foreign lady had a phone stuck to her ear and a trolley guarding the entire reduced section which was rather rude!

The Chipsticks knockoff "Tesco Crunchy Sticks" are a great buy for 25p and a big 150g bag too - not sure if it's a mistake as they're £1 online (the shelf sign isn't yellow or anything) http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesco-price-comparison/Snacks/Tesco_Crunchy_Sticks_Salt_And_Vinegar_150g.html The Tesco Baked Potatoes With Cheese are 1/2 price this week (till 10th Feb) at £1.25 http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesco-price-comparison/Fresh_Ready_Meals/Tesco_Fluffy_Jacket_Potatoes_with_Cheese_450g.html

It's 600 x 350 mm (see slightly damp photo below) - thanks Sainsburys and the nice people of Glasgow for not nicking my mat :)

There were loads out yesterday, but the power of HUKD meant only one was left today. Picked it up for boyf's mum who has two kitties - be careful bending or curling it up as I managed to slightly rip the rubber, though not sure if it was there already?

I've spent too long on the dark side of the internet, I saw "two cats" and the first thought that went through my mind was "one drinking bowl".

12 packs for my double garage at £8 a pop with a trade card, £144 saving over Amazon - brilliant deal, thanks op!
Just picked 4 packs up

oilit
this site should be renamed hot uk quality given how everyone comments on the quality of any given deals product.
Who cares if a stable mat is better or worse - nobody asked that - the 'deal' is for the brand of product on offer, if somebody wanted stable mats they would have searched for 'stable mats' and never found this deal anyway.
This is for garage floor mats made by rolson and sold by halfords at a given price. IF you think you can find the same brand and size at a better price then vote cold or don't vote. If you can't and you feel compelled to vote then vote hot as its a good deal for that brand of product - regardless if you think they are great or pants !
Its a bit like the apple deals that get voted cold by the pc fans... thats NOT the point of the site IMHO.
This constant drift in focus of the site is what makes it less attractive then it once was.
Sorry - rant over and I'll get my coat and await the 'flak'

I disagree :)
I love the reviews on here, better than amazon and you can get questions answered quicker and better. I didn't know what a 'stable mat' was so I'm glad for the alternative suggestion. Fact is, if I come to this thread I am considering making the purchase, and it's really useful to see other suggestions and comments on the quality. I'll happily give feedback on items I have direct experience with, to help others. I also love the random chatter, the level of activity on this site is what makes it so good.
But I do agree with you 'voting cold because Apple' etc. is lame, people should vote because it is/n't a good price FOR THE PRODUCT.

i voted cold simply because, this is now halfords normal price, so hardly a deal.
Can you find it at any other supplier for less? everywhere i look its twice the price. Hot!
not bothered looking. but i have known for several months i could walk into any halfords and pick these up for £10. so where is the deal

Where is the question mark?

A deal is only a deal if you know about it. Just because you were aware of this item at this price does not mean everyone else was. Until I started hunting around on Amazon I certainly didn't know, and it was only by chance reading an Amazon review that I was pointed in the direction of Halfords to buy them at half the price.

Same item @ 50% reduction in price to any other retailer = HOT DEAL imo

5 second search on here and it shows at same price, you didnt look that hard then

You are missing the point I feel. Until I started to browse amazon for different flooring which could be used for my home gym setup I didn't even know this product existed - therefore a '5 second search on here' wasn't really possible.

In terms of this deal being posted previously - this happens all the time to let other members know when a retailer has stock of an item again or just simply to bring it to others attention to help them out.

Next time you are aware of a product which is half the price of all other retailers I suggest you share it on here as you can see from the heat the deal has generated, the general consensus is that this constitutes a 'deal'.
Hot, I bought 9 sets of these at the end of last summer. I had relevelled my garage floor and wanted a nice surface to work on my bikes. I have multiple motorbikes in there and i just use something to spread the weight of any stands. They wont stand up to petrol but are cheap enough to replace.
They come with edge bits which is very useful.
Easy to cut with a straight edge and blade.
Would cost over 4x the price to cover same area with pvc tiles.

6x3m garage cost £90 to cover with a few spares.

I'm sure many will find this useful. I found it useful last time it was posted. Ignore the stupid comments OP,

Haters gonna hate*

Ordered mine 2 days ago for delivery today. They were in stock and they took the money. Got a phonecall this morning telling me they were out of stock. How they only realise that on the morning of delivery is beyond me and after I'd thrown the old rugs away and cleaned the floors. Argos is beyond a joke tbh.
Bought two for my mum a couple of days ago and have to say they are very cheap quality. The roll up from the ends, slips around and very cheap. Can't believe the actual price was 29.99!! No one will pay that price for that! Will be going back at some pint to return.
picked mine up yesterday and must say I'm quite unimpressed, very cheap quality.
Great, thanks op :)

Only covers half a Mondeo boot! Must find another one.
No its much bigger than an average front mat. It might appear that way from the photo. It covers the boot in my Honda Civic perfectly.
Size appears smaller than the average driver / passenger mats - would need about 4 to cover the average car boot!

These mats aren't great but you get what you pay for. Don't use it for yoga as it's too short. After one use, part of the foam cushion tore. And I'm light on my feet! If you basically want something between you and the ground for basic stretching then it's ok.
Hopefully this is a good mat for under a turbo trainer. Can't find any reviews on these though.

I hate to agree with you but it would appear that its all over anyway.
There's rumors going about on here that all the big prizes are gone and worst still they have been won by people
who have been using bots and scripts to find the flamedeer. So it appears that all the honest people on here have been duped by those who cheated and used bots and scripts.

I wouldn't get disheartened, I think there's still quite a few prizes left yet and I don't believe that bots or scripts would help anyone win/ I am sure that if that was the case then HUKD technical team would be on to them and would have stopped it.
The chances of winning are slim .. I am a very active member but I haven't won anything yet, it's the luck of the draw and if luck isn't on your side then you won't win.

No-one is going to detect a well programmed bot, no chance, unless a captcha is added to the win popup, i suggested it last year, maybe the powers that be didn't see it.

It would also be cool if next year the hunt is more of a hunt, rather than a random popup, particularly the social media links, a cryptic hunt, where you find clues and have to work it out, it takes a bit more work though!

I think that would be a great idea ... a test of skill rather than just luck

Just received this (quick delivery, well done ASDA!) and I don't see why people are saying this isn't working with laser mice... it's absolutely fine, very strange.

However the base is the same material as the one I already have that does slip around on a glass surface, so I'll have to report back as to whether it's still going to slip or not...
Use mine with a laser mouse without any problems whatsoever.
I see no reason to get a bigger one. I have a smaller mouse mat than the one posted and only use about half of it tbh, but unfortunately it slips around. I really don't know why anyone needs a bigger one, unless they're a gamer perhaps.
Any reason you'd get the smallest mouse mat ?
Oh well mine's BlueTrack so hopefully it'll be okay :)

This mat has been talked about on one of my bike forums, by people that bought it last year...... Its 1.7 kilos in weight. The thickness is 3 to 4 cm and not 5 as stated. And it rolls up far bigger than the claimed 15cm diameter.
It was badly reviewed by almost everybody.
Nice and cheap for camping out of the back of a car, but if its the same one as last year I would not want to cart it up a hill. Note they don't tell you the weight. If you are back packing you'll need to spend more money or stick with even cheaper and super light (if less comfy) foam.

Just bought two sticky mats and used the STICKY5 promo-code. got through no problem. However, code is valid per order and not per item. so I made a saving of £5 and paid £34.50 instead of £39.50 including postage ( of £3.50 economy standard delivery). could have purchased in two separate orders to receive the promo-code twice but had a small technical issues with the online purchase and called them up and made an order over the phone instead. Worked out that would have saved an extra £1.50 if ordered in two times but as could not be bothered to go through the hassle of ordering online all over again I asked the very kind lady to put the order for me. Very happy indeed and awaiting for my two yoga sticky mats now:)) THANK YOU HOT UK DEALS TEAM

I don't sorry, there isn't mention of it on the listing. It came by courier so it must have been well over 5kg.
Any idea's how much this mat weighs?
I think this shows the average activity level of a hukd'er.

Disappointing, but never mind, those in the know will realise how much a proper hard wearing gym mat will cost. This isn't the same as the free yoga mat you got with that dvd set your partner bought you. :{

My oh my, the money these companies make from people with children by marketing insecurities. It's hard to imagine how the human race has got this far without baby monitors, heat maps, cameras, etc. I have no technology and my little man seems to be doing fine, as are my finances :)
mmillmor
Some advice from a parent who has been through all of this;

1) Don't get a movement sensor - it's just going to needlessly stress you out every time it goes off. You don't need that increased stress when you have just had a new baby.
2) Don't get a two way talk back unit. If your baby is screaming, get up and actually go to them.
3) Room temperature monitoring is overrated. In this country, our bedrooms do get hotter in summer, and do get colder in winter. Unless you have no common sense, you will know when to put another blanket on, or when to increase air flow.

However, a camera baby monitor is indeed fantastic - you can see if they are awake and happy, or grumbling in their sleep, which you just can't do with an audio only one.

I disagree with this! We have this monitor and it's brilliant. Personally I think the sensor mat makes you feel less stressed as you're more confident everything's ok without having to nudge the baby! We use the 2 way talk back from our older child and is it's very handy!
Have had this baby monitor, without mat, for nearly a year now...

Its simple to use, is very sensitive, had a temperature indicator and works well walking in and around the home.

However the battery in the monitor unit fade quickly, buy new rechargeable batteries AAA after 6 months. The power cable is very small and broke around the plug end, some electrical tape holds it ok. The sensitivity setting can be annoying, level 5 means the unit is always in and transmits any sounds from babies room. Lower levels means it will only sounds once the noise in babies room reaches a certain volume.

Overall good value for money at this price

These are brilliant, much warmer than air beds. But would be tempted to go for one 7.5cm deep as it will keep you that little bit warmer.

We have the 7.5cm double and it kept us warm when it was minus 5 outside and there was ice on the tent door!

Ok price.

Would offer to buy you one 1on4 but postage would make it not worthwhile....

Very kind of you to offer. I don't need one, my little guy already has a 'gym' and he's not far from crawling so it'll be going in the roof soon. It's just annoying that lots of the good baby deals are never at my local!
Yes, this is instore only.

Just been to Lichfield Tesco and the label was the same £8 but all sold out.

Did however manage to pick up this one for £11 (was labelled as such):

Bright Starts, Pretty in Pink Supreme Gym

Again, this is INSTORE ONLY.... were about 4 left in Lichfield when I got mine, didn't see any of this one in Stafford when I looked this AM though.

very impressed with this product. Had my laptop on it for the last four hours and both are still cool to touch
Great find - thanks.
The internal storage seems a good idea - Heaven knows where my cordless mouse has got to.... Plus you can use some velcro strip to take the strain off the power lead and socket - I've had to repair so many laptops because the power socket has been broken by the power lead hanging off it.

Some Tesco's are selling the Fisher Price Precious Planet playgym instore for £16, reduced from £65. I've also seen a Lamaze one instore for £11, down from £45. May be worth a look in your local if you're after a playgym.

Also you could get Mothercare to pricematch the Amazon deal over the phone, and you'll get it for the same price plus a £10 voucher in the post.

Thanks.
- The Mothercare advice is great...
- The Precious Planet and Lamaze play gyms are a baragin in their own right but I don't think they are comparable to the Rainforest Gym posted here as this has musical sounds and lights etc. and I don't think the Precious Planet and Lamaze gyms have these features. The baby Einstein range is a closer comparison.

[Edit: The precious planet one does have lights and sounds. If anyone knows if the Lamaze gym has lights/sounds please advise. Thanks.]
