I dont know if this should be expired. I picked up a 1TB version from Duckinfield Morrisons tonight for £39.98. There was only the one out though.

Just taken it out of the box, plugged it in and its a 500gb one. I recon someone bought one of each, put the 500gb one in the 1tb box and took it back, and thats why they all of a sudden have one in stock.

None in Blackpool. :(
If anyones still interested they've got some at Erith, just popped in on the off chance and still there £39:97 for 1TB, fantastic!
These enclosures are rubbish, got myself one last Sunday and last night the enclosure packed in and wouldn't power up. I took it apart and extracted the hard drive, its a Green Caviar, SATA 500gb, drive itself it awesome and still well worth £25.

your pretty stupid if your against Bernard Matthews for what they did in the past if you actually knew the politics of meat you would be vegetarian by protest.

WTF?!

Do you mean that a fillet steak is Conservative whereas a rump is Labour?oO
It's processed crap. Why don't people look at the ingredient lists?

Take a look and see.

Why anyone wants added salt, sugar, and the rest of the crap in BM ham, turkey, chicken etc is a mystery to me.
I dont like the texture, taste of the 'ham'.. however its still there :|
Yeah the deal is still on, til Sunday at least, maybe longer.

Voting cold, these used to be packs of 5 then Kraft took over & made them packs of 4. They didn't change the price though!
No reason to vote cold. Very Petty. £1 is a good deal 'cos I bet you won't find any other deal beating 25p a bar.
Maybe so on Double Deckers but Twirls , Aeros , Flakes are ridiculously smaller on multipack buys , they think we are to stupid to notice

The top deals when available are Snickers 5 pack full size , Topics 4 pack full size, Turkish Delights 4 pack full size for a quid which Sainsburys often do

These are fab! So creamy - my fave yogurts by far
Much 'creamier' than the Muller corners (imo), and made in Shropshire
Even that is too much for these, vile imo.

Any basmati rice costing £1+ per KG is a ripoff.

iirc this only comes in a thin plastic packaging. The rice that I buy is usually in a plastic tub which is easy to measure and avoids the problem of the packet splitting when opening. i'm voting cold for this reason.

Daft comment, You could easily transfer contents into plastic tub. Not a valid reason to vote cold, just because of packaging....(_;)

Not sure why but the smaller Pizza Express pizza's ( currently half price at Sainsbury's ) seem to taste better than these big ones ?
Never had a better shop bought pizza, ever.
1Jim0 - i take it you bought it fresh, froze it and defrosted it then?
IMHO these fresh (not 90% weight frozen dough) pizzas are second to none - nothing like the frozen chaff from 'Goodfellas' etc.. I wouldn't buy them for £5, but at £2.49, yeah!
Still buying the "American simple" Pepperoni (put a bit of garlic and ground jalapeno on) and the Sloppy Giuseppe which I hadn't tried before but it really nice. Saving me loads on takeaway treats as it's the only shop bought pizza I ever bought that compares in my opinion.

Just a bit peeved that American Hot hasn't turned up in my Morrisons...
Hmmmmu wasn't that impressed tbh...I did de frost it tho which is says not to doubt that would make much of a difference tho.
i Had one of these last night, and it remains my favourite supermarket pizza!

I am sure it's been this price for ages in Derby - the Esso on Markeaton Island certainly has...
ONLY the Haulage companies striking will stop it going over £1.50/L markets rally around round figures, the testing point was £1.00/L make the most of it! pay as you go driving is next!

IIRC 60% of the revenue collected from motorists goes to fund the NHS and Benefits

this is a futile discussion on an internet forum!
monkeybrains
damn it why is petrol so expensive
Make the most of it as it is. Another 1p on duty in October and then a big 3p hike in January when this shower that most of you voted in whack another 2.5p onto vat. Will give the government another 4p/litre in the next 6 months. Makes me sick!!
Can't believe nobody has cried out about the fuel going up when they up the vat. They should reduce the duty by 3p to compensate, just as labour upped the duty by 2p when they reduced vat to 15% last year only then to sneakily leave it on when the vat went up again.
gummby
Because it is taxed to the hilt, the pound was devalued by labour, the Arabs inflate oil prices using cartels and the market think it is safer than currencies so buy it.Overall we need global demand to fall but untill someone pulls out a green finger we have no chance. My local BP is about 122.9 on Diesel. 8p more. Even the Sainsbury isn't much better in Guildford.

im sure sumone invented some green feul but got shot by bp and shell

The title is a bit misleading as it's a meal for two, then BOGOF, which makes it better than ASDA, tried one last week, and it was very good, 4 bhaji's as opposed to 2 with ASDA.

Updated the Title to reflect the fact.
Yesterday there were many in the Hounslow Morrisons.
I think this is still available. Will have a look tonight on my way back home.

This stuff is awful. Tastes really salty and not as good as the Bernard Matthew's turkey/chicken slices packs that you get.
Is it a bird or is it a pig ? :? Think I'm going to stay veggie anyway!
rubbish! You can get better stuff than this for a pound a pack
because I can't afford the more expensive cuts... unfortunately... so this will have to do until I win the lottery
Thin slices of balsa wood laminate. Guaranteed taste free.

For those who spend on Evian water: try spelling Evian backwards.
thank you for the post. voted hot. best price out there right now
The biggest difference in taste between tap and bottled water comes from the fact that the bottled water is chilled and not under pressure. If you put a jug of water in the fridge it tastes just as good as bottled (in my opinion) because the water is then chilled and the cholorine has chance to dissipate. Having said that, the water in Manchester is probably the best I've tasted 'direct from the tap' of any of the places I've lived.

Apparently you don't drink any kind of bottled liquid? If you do, you're hypocrite. If you don't, then fair play to you, honestly. But most people do drink bottled juice so don't try and single out water drinkers. ;-)

Also, taste is a personal thing. If you haven't learned that yet then you're a fool. I don't expect everyone to prefer the taste/look of anything vs anything else. But you prove my point that there is a difference. Whether you prefer it or not is a personal thing. The first time I tried Evian I didn't like the slightly chalky taste as much as Volvic. But I got tired of Volvic after a while (and Highland Sping) but it has never happened with Evian. Also, Evian also tastes pretty palatable (to me) warm so I can keep a bottle in the car. Tap water tastes completely different warm.

I think you're forgetting the placebo effect. If you havent heard of that yet then you're ignorant. If you had even bothered to watch the video properly you would have seen the bit where she says people cant tell the difference under blind conditions. It's going to vary depending on the area the tap water is from but good tap water like you find in most of Scotland tastes very good. Most people are conned by the packaging of bottled water.

Oh and sometimes I do buy drinks in plastic bottles but I try not to. And if I have to buy bottled water - if I'm out somewhere for example, I buy the cheapest, not Evian (unless it's the cheapest, which is unusual). It's ridiculous imo to buy water from France when we have loads of the stuff in this country!

Interesting video. The problem though...

2000 times more expensive than tap. Yep, that's true. But this is relative. Bottled water is cheaper than fizzy drink which also serves the exact same purpose of quenching your thirst. Why doesn't the video point this out?

Same goes for the pollution. This is no worse than drinking fizzy juice. If you want to accuse both (and you drink neither) then fair enough. But they fit into the same category.

It doesnt need to point that out specifically as it's common knowledge that fizzy drinks are worse than water. They do mention people drink bottled water to be healthy.

Also, fizzy drinks with sugar also provide energy so they arent quite the same.
