try the Appleade with vodka, yummy
I saw this last week and thought, "What a stereotypical looking can!" Bubblegum comes in many different colours, not just pink and blue. I believe it would have been better for BARR to feature all the colours of gum on the can; this would have set it apart even more from BARR's other products and made it look more attractive.

2 Litre Ribena Blackcurrant Really Light just 1.98 @ Poundstretcher

Upto £3 cheaper depending on where you shop, but only REALLY LIGHT variety in my Poundstretcher. ASDA £3 Sainsbury's £4 Tesco £5

Post a comment
Tesco have the 1litre bottles 2 for £4, but even then the price for the same quantity is double at the big guns Tesco and Sainsbury's.
The standout there is the £4.99 Tesco price, compared to the £1.98 Poundstretcher, £3.01 difference on a mainstream everyday product sold in the millions each week by Tesco, looking at least £3.50 profit, on an item less than a fiver. Shocking.
And they used to say Supermarkets operated on margins of 1-2%.

Edited By: tightar5e on May 13, 2014 15:15
Good deal, so have heat.

But light just means I have to put so much more in :|
Prefer actual sugar in my Ribena not dodgy experimental sweeteners which may or may not be safe long term.:| Yes, it may well all be 'conspiracy theory guff'. But you cannot know until decades of research down the line. Not going to be a guinea pig to find out.

Looks absolutely identical to the one I bought in Poundland at the weekend, albeit mine was battery powered and doesn't change colour. Just measured it and it is 6 inches high.

Probably because it is identical.

Other than the fact that it has a different power source, and different lights, because they change colour, whereas mine are a constant red, but sure, identical.

I don't work off the heat generated by deal. Its absolute b******s. Just look at the posts individually and make my own mind. The top 10 'deals' every day are usually a majority of s***e deals tbh.
This site hasn't been 'HotDeals' for a number of years.

If you had cared to check before you commented you would have seen that deal was posted over a month ago so its fine to repost.
Did I say anything about spam?... NO!
My point?... It's been that price for ages, nothing new to see here.

Prices constantly fluctuate and the other deal didn't go hot so would have been missed by the majority. Judging by the the heat the deal received I'd say most folks are pleased it was posted again.

No coke zero in iceland at that price - original coke is, but coke zero is £3 for 6!
None in Asda Keighley, only 15 for £5.
Haven't checked our farm foods yet to see if they do Coke Zero.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-R_GhWQ-KUoQ/UhjxoRhQFLI/AAAAAAAABW0/xaIw6LigJFs/s640/Coke%252012%2520pack.JPG?gl=US
Asda don't stock the 12 packs at many of their stores. 15 packs instead at £5. the 8 packs at £2.50 has now changed to 2 for £5! so you can only buy even numbers to get the offer!
I checked a few days ago and the 8 @ £2.50 was cheapest for the local Asda.
Does iceland have Coke Zero on that deal?

I bought one of the larger sized ones a few years ago now and its still in use. It has been used for my toddlers toys, nappies etc and doubled (or should that be tripled) up as a side table and spare seat as well. Although showing signs of wear and tear now it is still perfectly ok considering it has been dragged around the living room constantly by my 3yr old:p. I wouldn't recommend it for heavy items such as books or catalogues but apart from that it is excellent value.

Also never realised poundstretcher were online so cheers OP :)
Hehe i read that as an otterbox for a phone :)

The best and cheapest is Spring Force from Tesco - 9 rolls for 1.99. There are 210 leaves per roll - Cushelle is 180. All you are paying for here is a picture of a Koala...

These are total crap, very bad quality and the balloon is very easy to set on fire, very cheap and bad quality. The single ones they sell are a lot better
[helper]
Is there any such thing as a non-biodegradable one? From what I've just been reading, any of them still contain metal which can take up to a year to biodegrade, so they're essentially all the same. Happy to be proved wrong, I just don't get why a massive thing made of paper wouldn't be biodegradable.
Biodegrable doesn't mean these aren't harmful to wildlife
The only other place I know which do these 100% biodegradable ones are "menkind".

Pretty standard price, I'd say.

I think the memory foam pillow would be best for the people who find this pillow to go flat quickly.

However stacking up 2 of these pillows together could solve the problem for some

I got one of these at the same price a couple of months ago. It's gone very flat and useless in that time.
I second that. Loved the pillow for the first night, but does go flat quickly!
Good price though

It's because they are cheap junk produced in China. Top quality Visco Elastic Memory Foam is quite expensive. Trust me, our company manufactures memory foam pillows in the UK and they are a million miles away than this tosh. The pillows retain their shape for years.

Doesn't stop the hot votes coming in ;) lol

Nope. I just bought one instore and have added a hot vote to this just to let you guys know.

Luvin the Pondstretcher gardening section!! The solar lights are fab and pretty cheap aswell as the compost. Got a really cute solar dog light today. Its the littel affordable things like this that brighten up my garden :)
Used this compost yesterday and for 49p it's very good not full of stuff that should'nt be in there.
Anyone seen bulk vermiculite cheap anywhere?

Good price if you don't need much, but Asdas compost works out at 47p per 10 litre, 3 x 70l bags for £10

If its the same stuff as I had its fantastic stuff too, had 9 bags so far this year and the plants are loving it!

Generally cheap "value" composts are a waste of time and are often twiggy, under rotted full of crap and coarse.

Mind you I use an old food processor to finely shred any compost so its fine and almost powdery for starting seeds in and then add a bit of vermiculite for drainage.

Been experimenting using chicken poop this year too and a cupful of soil scraped from their run added to a ten litre bucket has seen the toms almost double in size compared to those without!

I've added heat as the deal is good for what it is.

Personally I prefer the convenience of larger bags but many are not capable of handling that awkward weight so these smaller bags are great for those.. and those that just need a small amount.

I've been disappointed with the Lidl and Aldi versions, too much under-rotted material and unwanted items like old bits of plastic and glass, I hope the poundstretcher version is better.

I second that. Found bits of plastic and what not in Aldi bags.
