unfortunately, Amazon is now 1.5%. They reduced it recently but still 3% @ TCB.
That's intriguing as my Quidco still shows 3% bonus, even on a/c balance as low as £1.50 [These Maltesers!].
Made me check and I believe the difference must be because I'm still paying their Premium Membership £5/yr fee - it's listed as a perk, among some other more vague benefits:
https://www.quidco.com/premium-features/

So reverse engineering now - to make that 1.5% bonus difference worth £5 means need £333.33 worth of Quidco would need to be redeemed as Amazon benefit to cover the Premium fee.
Mine has just paid out.

Thanks OP.

Noticed the Maltesers Pouch (previous weight 121g Pouch/120g Box) has got smaller again.
Now 93g
Thats a 23% reduction in size/weight. The Maltesers box will look like a box of Cook's Matches before long or sound like an empty vessel. Sad I know, but for Mars products on offer, is worth checking the weight markings, it's got so bad.
Brexit means Brexit :p
I emailed Quidco last night and woke up this morning to £1.50 confirmed :)
£1.50 confirmed from sainsbury's :)

you can only redeem 2 times on Quidco - so you can only get £2 cash back.

There are 2 varieties that you can claim cashback on and you can redeem 2 times on each. So there is no problem getting £3.00 cashback.
anyone actually had this work?

so you buy 3 cans which with glitch total £2 as glitch knocks off £3. Then you upload receipt to click n snap to get £1 cashback so you pay £1! How's it free? What have I missed?
You may have missed a maths Gcse. 2 quid each, promo knocking 3 rather than 1 off. You can claim 3 quid via clicksnap. I have bought been at same time which may have cocked it up and confused the issue.
£2 each or 3 for £5, but because of glitch 3 for £2. Then upload receipt to click n snap takes £1 from the £2 you payed meaning you pay £1. You can only claim £1 from the 3 for £2 on one receipt!
Please explain how you get it free?

Worked for me also having bought a few grocery essentials, will encourage me to use the price match in the future, never bothered before
Did this at asda today, bought one of each toothpaste, 5 x 25p cadburys kids chocs for £1 and a bottle of milk, asda price gurantee refunded £6.71

I looked at this offer already... me thinks you can't do your maths :S

Who are you addressing?
MakingIt

aau1
m1chaels. You say to buy 6 other comparable items. That's not correct.
You need 8 different items or more.
Also they have to be listed on the asda.com website
None of the other items have to compare with sainsburys, just the toothpaste
If you do buy comparable items then your £6.60 voucher will either decrease, stay the same or increase
Thanks for the clarification, I knew it was min 8 items. I know people buy 1 carrot, 1 onion, 1 banana etc.

I used to do that but my store has stopped selling loose carrots and loose ginger.

This time around i just got 8 different muller lights and the toothpaste. It's unbelievably easy but some people are just too closed-minded to even consider this way of shopping

I think you could have got away with just 6 Mullers plus the 2 toothpastes (if you chose 1 x cool mint and 1 x soft mint), because only 8 different items are needed.

I know but variety is the spice of life lol

Also they are 8 for £4 in A and 50p each in S so you make 60p profit for the toothpaste and an extra 40p for the mullers
2minutenoodles
I looked at this offer already... me thinks you can't do your maths :S

To me it looks like £6 back from ClickSnap + £6.60 (approx.) + back from Asda, subject to minimum 8 different product purchase. The 'approx.' is because the actual Asda refund price depends upon the price differences of the other 6 items compared to the price matched retailer). How do you see the maths working?

I contacted Quidco live chat for another cashback issue and the lady resolved it very quickly. She was very helpful, so I asked her why my Spinners purchase at theworks.co.uk was rejected. She said that most of the purchases that day were rejected as they did not receive a confirmation that the order went through. She asked me to raise a "Missing Cashback" claim at the following link and fill the order details with the normal 21% cashback option. Once the cashback is confirmed by the merchant, Quidco will automatically credit the bonus £3 to your account. http://www.quidco.com/new-enquiry Apparently this is the only way they can now verify that the purchase went through.. I just raised mine, thought it will be helpful to others who's cashback has been wrongly rejected. Good luck...!!

Thanks Eclairs. I have a very slow email conversation about this with The Works. I'll try your suggestion.

If this is cold because they have gone over their 20gb allowance, I can't understand it. The awful 2gb and 3gb for a tenner a month usual offerings get voted hot. This is 20gb for 20 quid! If someone has used 8gb over then, sorry. There's enough with apps and their own website to monitor your usage.Big up to this post. 20gb is a lot for that money and you can always use Sky Go on your phone anyway instead of Red Entertainment. EE and O2 deals are shocking value for large data allowance.
I hear you. 20gb for £20 is good. But Voda then fleeced me. I did use 8gb too much because I don't constantly monitor usage. I hadn't ever thought it would be an issue, just thought they would turn the tap off like other networks do. As @SFconvert says, it's surprising it's legal.
So, cold from me because it's Voda. I'll pay extra to a supplier that doesn't help themselves to my wallet.

Have you guys not got Data cap?? i have on my Voda deal which is 6GB

Well done you. I hadn't. Didn't think about it. Assumed it was default. Learnt the hard way. It is standard default on other networks. But not Voda. Learnt also that on my other contracts it wasn't even possible!

They also do the same contract with £50 curry's voucher. Maybe useful for those who will be spending at Currys anyway, rather then having to flog the headphones.

Don't think cashback is paid when voucher is used.

Do people still buy TVs from retailers who don't offer 5-6 year warranties? Can't even find what is offered with this?...

I should clarify - the voucher is issued after purchase - giving you £10 to spend. You can use TCB and qualify for the voucher as well.

I only buy TVs that have 5 year warranty - John Lewis all the time.
Is this any good for watching Bbc 1 (normal channel) eastenders

Anybody else suffering from email crashes when you open Quidco marketing emails?
Hey @qbs
That is due to a recent Outlook security update. Simply go to your Outlook settings and make sure that you have the most recent version of outlook and that should fix the crash issue.
I hope this helps.
Best Wishes,

If this is true, then you should state the KB number. I can tell you that KB3115475 does not solve the problem. Right now it looks as if Quidco is sending emails with dubious code embedded in them.
Couldn't have put it better myself. Where in my email did I say I was using Outlook, yet Quidco Representative, who seems to have disappeared, immediately assumes Outlook is the problem. Strange that no other emails are causing any problems.
Same here - The £5.00 has been declined :(

OP - thanks for sharing. I am on Sky too and deal running out at the end of June. Is talktalk really that bad? Just the broadband element seems a bargain £20pm x 12 mnths = £240 - £100 Quidco = £140 for the year.
This is about £11.66 per month. Since Ive had no issues with sky - wouldnt the servce be the same with any other provider ie Talktalk?
The cashback for Fiberoptic is £70 and therefor would work out to just less than £20 pm for the basic fibre option.
Please, if anyone has any experience then I would appreciete a reply - especially if anyone can suggest a better deal.

Talktalk are terrible, I wouldn't have this if it was free, seriously.
Would rather go with Sky as a new customer @ £9.50 a month, with the possibility of cashback from qc or tcb
Sim shouldn't be taken off as you aren't getting that money back, unless you are actually going to swap it for what you have now.
Sky would be £124 for a year, with possibly £40 cashback, would equate to £7 a month for a far better service.
Just sign up with a different surname and banking details if you aren't a new customer :)

If you go for it don't use that link, get the code from mse, clear cookies, click through from qc or tcb, then paste this link into your browser http://www.sky.com/shop/offercode and you should get the cashback, if you use the one from either here or MSE they will get the commission instead

Demo is out next week (allegedly) so might be worth trying before that purchase.

As lucifon says, devs only seem to answer what they want to and been lack of info throughout.

Think i'll purchase but will await a few weeks to see if/what bugs appear and how they handle them (Hopefully better than Facebook)

It has been confirmed for 26th May. 100%.
I am a bit bemused by the cold votes as it was really a great game and the cheapest price around!
You'll probably get a better reception to the deal if you include the merchant selling this in the title, rather than a comparison to another. :)

Nah, rather spend another £140 and buy the Ti. Then again I have my eP33n to satisfy.

Link to a Ti for £140 more?

Just look on Flubit. They had a PNY branded FE for £595. Mine is from Gigabyte though. Arrived in 4 days from London. I tried to post the deal here but Hot Deals cried like a bunch of SJWs and removed the listing because they hate Flubit... or whatever. But the deal was legit. I got an abolsute bargain. Running 2050mhz stable in everything.

When you say original currency, do you mean the currency of the place the product is being sold? i.e. Italy would be euro.

Cheapest I can find, which is about £160 more. I suppose you can probably find them a bit cheaper when they go on offer. 1080ti prices really seem to have dropped in price over the past week or so. Don't know whether it's related to supply constraints easing or immenient launch of Vega.
Using Amazon conversion they work out to £650 (£200 more than this deal).
Amazon conversion is a tax on the financially less well informed, just like paypal conversion. Always pay in the original currency with a decent forex credit card or alternate forex product (Halifax Clarity, Revolut, Mondo) .
Personally if I was buying a graphics card right now though - for various reasons - it would be this one. Heat added! :)
Exactly.
Amazon's conversion is a convenience, you'll get a better rate with a Nationwide card, or using something like Revolut.
Probably £10 saving.
Based on your earlier statement on the Amazon conversion price being (£650) £200 more expensive, it looks like a £35 saving for me.

Also personally I wouldn't characterise Amazon conversions as a convenience. You'd be better off just paying with almost any high street credit or debit card (a 3% levy on Eur 726 still doesn't get you to £650). Feels more like a cynical cash grab to me.

(I haven't checked the Amazon conversion price - just taking your word on it).

Not trying to be argumentative. Just pointing out that if someone was up for paying about an extra £160 or whatever, 'themanwithapc' had his figures more or less correct.

I know there's solutions to conversion but rather than assume people have solutions in place I quoted the price as is.
Cheers anyway.
I do get what you're saying about not everyone having something in place to avoid currency fees altogether, but things like Mondo don't even require a credit check - because it's a preload card - so it's not like anyone is locked out from paying the lower quoted prices.

Plus, I don't really see getting a cheap forex payment mechanism as more work than claiming cashback from MSI. Both are reasonably easy! :)

As I said though, in my opinion this is a cracking deal.

other people have posted that they have used the company with no problems but personally I've not tried them. be careful though that it includes everything you need. lenses etc. I don't think there are any cash back sites for tech in the basket though :)
Hi guys / OP - hope you don't mind me going off topic for a sec...
Thinking of buying a camera from Techinthebasket
Canon EOS 80d - £698.00 (£1000.00 at WEX)
What do you reckon? Hell of a saving, is it legit?
Site mentions a two year warranty but again not sure how honourable that is?
Cheers all
that's great. you got it cheaper than I did by the sounds of it :)
I think the cash back is about £45 so I will end up paying around £677 if TopCashback payout - double ThankQ for posting
I'm glad to hear I helped somebody out :D was that including cash back? I think my total cash back worked out about £52

I'm so pleased with the drone. well worth the money I think :D

don't like clicksnap. don't always pay out and you cant raise an issue with quidco either as its in the terms that payment is not guaranteed

Although I don't like how long it seems to take with clicksnap I've always been paid out.

I'd still raise an online ticket if I hadn't been paid for something which I should have done.

I prefer to buy arla milk, the money goes straight back to UK farmers.

Arla is a dairy cooperative - it's owned by it's Arla dairy farmer owners - like ourselves. 8)

There are 2,500 Arla dairy farmers in the UK. We produce 1/4 of all British milk.
We all decided in 2012 that our future viability as dairy farmers was more secure being part of a cooperative, rather than a private milk processor.
Also as a cooperative, we have no shareholders taking a share in the profits, nor any corporate boss telling us how much (or how little!) we'll get paid for our milk. :(
Altogether there are 12,500 Arla dairy farmer owners - in the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium Luxemberg, The Netherlands, Germany.
As a cooperative, all the profits from the sales of our milk all goes into 'one pot' & then is divided out equally between us all.

Arla has some fantastic brands, like Cravendale, Anchor, Castello & Lurpak. Some brands are made with our British milk, other with milk from our fellow Arla dairy farmers in Europe, but regardless of which Arla farmer produces the milk we all share in the returns from its sale.
For example, Lurpak is a Danish brand & can only be made with Danish milk. It is Britain's no.1 butter brand & as milk from Danish Arla dairy farmers makes Lurpak, then British Arla dairy farmer coop owners also benefit from its sales.

As an Arla farmer owner I can promote Arla products knowing that it will directly help my milk price.
Thank you to everyone who buys our fantastic dairy products - we're very grateful. :D

You will need to set up a cash account to be able to order from Travis Perkins This can be done online.

Rolawn Blended Loam Topsoil is a high-quality, fertile, peat-free, organic rich, multi-purpose topsoil, which is a blend of sand, silt and clay with peat-free soil conditioner.

Very light to use and much easier that top soil which can be very heavy.
I did all my back garden last year 200ft long. Lovely stuff to work with and the medallion turf is the best I have ever used. Far cheaper to get a roll if bulk ordered. I think it's about £8 a roll single but over 100 turfs it's about £4 ish. ( off the top of my head )

Lawn looks lovely and if you use the Scott's lawn builder it's stays nice and green.

Search for my deal on the medallion turf at £2.58 a roll at TP.

F**k me that is a good price... 12 months too late for me but still happy with the quality.

can someone tell me how this topsoil compares to other screened topsoip? or what blended loam means

I ordered 6 bags of this topsoil from TP three weeks ago. Excellent product it's well screened and looks rich with a nice ratio between sand clay and humus. I purchased medallion turf also from TP at a bargain price and my lawn looks stunning.

As above, would never buy from them, had issues in the past.
For this £100+ purchase you would buy directly using UK credit. All subsequent vendor obligations would then be serviced by UK credit company and you never have to even contact EGC again.
Used to think that. Not actually true as depends on the payment system. Has to be direct to CC for it to apply. Since then I've stopped using PayPal. It was on moneysavingexpert. Only applies if direct transaction to CC so a lot of companies are using 3rd party payment tools on purpose.
Note the quotation of "buy directly using UK credit," meaning the S75 qualification of explicit debtor-creditor-supplier arrangement. Paypal Credit should be OK (if available), but not the usual PayPal option.

Yes but part of the issue that was raised is it is actually impossible to tell if you are paying directly or not from the website

Will do. I did contact the seller again yesterday as my tracking had said it had arrived back in Singapore. Still waiting for a response!

Contacted the seller and they said no refund as it been delivered to the UK and they pointed to an earlier date on the screen print I provided to prove his point, not taking any notice of the fact that on the same screen print, at a later date, it clearly shows its heading back to Singapore! Told then I will eventually raise a dispute with AliExpress if not resolved. Think this is going to be fun trying to get my money back!
I would be interested to know how you get on, can you post back when resolved. Thanks, good luck!

Never seen this happen to anyone before. I would have thought that once yours updated to "Submitted to shipping company at destination country", that it was in Royal Mail's hands so tracking would no longer update. For it to be returned back and for tracking to update after, seems really strange. Especially without an attempted delivery. Are you certain you never received a Royal Mail 'fee to pay' grey card?I didn't received a Royal Mail fee to pay card. Very strange as you say and I'm a little gutted I didn't get the phone as it looked really good for the money and because of the waiting around and my impatience, I've spent more on another phone! I'll contact the seller anyway and see where I stand. Thanks again dread!

Ok thank you again for the advice, much appreciated :D
The saga continues! Status has now updated 2017-06-15 12.00 – SINGAPORE, ON ITS WAY TOSINGAPORE. Seems it's on its way back to China now! Should I just contact seller and ask them to cancel order and refund me as I've now purchased another phone as I couldn't wait any longer? Or should I wait until I can open a dispute with AliExpress in July? Not sure of the best course of action.

Perhaps it never got past customs but apparently in that event, they return after 18 days or 21 days if it has customs charges, so it seems too early to be that if it was given to them on 30th and returned on 15th.

As for the dispute, is there no option yet to open a dispute under your order details? If not, I'd just contact the seller and show them the tracking information. I think the way the AliExpress payment system works is that they hold the money and don't give it to the seller until you confirm delivery so I'm not sure if AliExpress would need to step in first, in order to initiate the refund. But contact the seller anyway and see what they have to say.

Think this code only works on the Twilight Flowers bouquet - I tried it on others but it didn't take the discount. Code still appears to be working (I ordered few mins ago)

Just my luck - ordered one of these Twilight bouquets for a friend of mine yesterday to be delivered today when she comes out of hospital. :) These bouquets are lovely and are my "go to" choice. TopCashback currently offering up to 12.6% cashback too.

The specs are really bad for the price.

i3, non FHD, 500GB HDD.

For this price, it should have SSD and FHD. I can cope with 7th gen i3.

I will pass. Wait for next time, for a much better deal.

Good price - after £200 cashback. Question - is this a G3 or G4? I guess the main thing is - is hard drive and memory easily accessible? IE does the whole back cover come off or is there a service access cover?
Its the G4, view of the rear access hatch here:https://www.notebookcheck.net/fileadmin/_processed_/csm_open_471dcebcf0.jpg
Loads more internal shots here:http://laptopmedia.com/review/hp-probook-450-g4-review-intels-new-kaby-lake-cpus-isnt-the-only-improvement/
But not sure why you wouldn't buy the ops deal, 14in is a really good size.
Good to see the G4 has the maintenance hatch. So could easily add a small M.2 SSD to use as the C: drive; don't quite understand why this HP redesign means the battery is no longer easily replaceable.

How do these "dual" cards work? As in balance transfer AND purchases (_;)

How would this scenario work out for me: I get the card, transfer £xx which I pay back in equal payments over 25 months until the debt is settled. Would I simultaneously be able to spend £xxx and pay the minimum off each month? I don't see how the transferred balance would be different from the purchases balance... I've also resorted to using two separate cards.
I'm waiting for money transfer offer to appear on my barclaycard initial as I always been using to get 0% money transfer to my bank account for 12 months. Unfortunately, nothing showing in my account at the moment. Does anyone know if they just randomly appear?
Has anyone got cashback off quidco lately? Topcashback, no problems, but quidco I haven't had anything since 2014 and there's a fair few purchases in there. Complaints to quidco fall on deaf ears
Thanks OP!

You get a silly members badge and some golden clubs !!!!!! Great.
At least it's good that they haven't split the user base, as they did with the "Collector's Edition".
Every physical copy came with it but the digital one didn't... and what's more, the content isn't listed in the store so you've no idea you're missing it until you try to load up a user-generated course with the blocked content.
Interested in this but could you clarify a bit? Ta
In the 1st Golf Club, the physical copy comes as "Collector's Edition" which includes a Season Mode and about half of the available items in the course designer.
The digital version comes without that lot - it can be purchased within the game (about £7 I think) but it's not obvious that it's missing when you buy the game from the store so when I replaced my disc version, I ended up spending more to get the same functionality.

So I bought this on the original bundle deal. Overall seems a decent board, however, for those interested, I'm experiencing the following problems - despite running the latest BIOS.
1) Can't overclock in the BIOS - changing the vCore locks the multiplier to 15x. Stupid, I know. According to the MSI forums this problem occurs on other manufacturer boards and no one knows why (hooray)
2) Can't run my Corsair Dominator RAM at 3ghz. It's not on the QVL I know, but I wanted it because it's shiny. Best I can manage is 2666mhz for now.
Other than that, no problems. PC runs really well. Hoping the incoming AGESA update will help!

hmm have not tried overclocking so cannot comment on that but RAM with Ryzen is known to be finicky....are your Corsairs Samsung B die? As this one has best compatibility with Ryzen platform. I am using G.Skills 3866, also not on QVL but they work fine on 2nd XMP profile, 2933...have not tried to get them on 1st one, waiting for AGESA 1006 :)

You have to redeem it using their site. Once you do that and finish the process, it should display on a webpage.
How long did it take for you guys to receive the game code from MSI?

I'm pretty sure they're plastic ends then. This is a side by side of the original Mediatek with Snapdragon.
https://i.gyazo.com/a05607f8c18de96f3985a517d1acc99d.png
The Mediatek (left) has full metal body and thick antenna lines so the signal can get through. Whereas for the Snapdragon, those thin shiny lines aren't actually antenna lines. They're the finishing of the edge of the metal and the signal can pass through the plastic ends instead. Xiaomi calls them CNC-finished "separation lines"

Does the top and bottom feel the same as the rest of the back? It should be plastic that is coloured or painted to match the rest of the back which is metal, but it will have a slightly different colour tone, which should be noticeable if you move it about in light.https://i.gyazo.com/38dbfc131763cad1865304932b0cc850.png

More sizes have been adding. I have been checking the last few days and they seem to add more sizes in the evening or first thing in the morning. Seems to be coming in and out of stock - whether people returning or items being held in peoples baskets etc.

The 25% code is no longer working and it has now dropped down to 15%. Thats with a code i had applied for when it said 25% off a purchase, hwoever when i looked at my email there is no mention of "25% off in May".

Still a good saving to converse Chuck II leather for £66 with quidco hopefully to follow

Among others, I ordered the John Varvatos Chuck II coated leather low tops, but when comparing the shoes I've received to photos on the net, mine don't appear to have any sort of coating. Those on the web have a slight sheen to them, but mine look and feel like rough suede. Anyone else order these?

I was going to get these however i was put of by the term 'coated leather' when compared to the chuck II 'lux leather'

Coated leather is defined as a product that has a finish thickness of less than 30 percent but greater than 0.15 mm. The British Standards for leather state that if the leather is coated, the thickness of the surface layer must be less than 0.15 mm to be described as genuine leather; therefore, coated leather cannot be called genuine leather
