I can go to tesco, get back and have the chicken cooked in the time it would take me to drive to my 'Local Butcher' pay to park and then get back home.
But Aldi on the other hand takes ages!

All sorts of crap comes out of the chicken from Tesco when you are cooking it. They must pump it full of water to make them look more than what they are.
This! We stopped using Tesco because the quality of their meat was so bad.

Aldi £5.59 but for a kg so cheaper. Fairly sure Lidl is the same also.

& it tastes MUCH better too! Tesco chicken seems pumped up with water & Iceland chicken is even worse!

Been to three Sainsbury's recently, none had this. Nowhere ever seems to have those little novelty drinks that appear on Clicksnap from time to time.

I liked this film. Wanted to love it, but it wasn't quite there for me. Apes free is a bit random, though?
Toon_army
I wasn't overly impressed with this, mind its not the worse film I've seen. I just feel they left it too long to make it. £10 for a new'ish blu-ray isn't bad but feel it'll be alot less soon. The Apes is a little bonus.

While I'm on the subject of films, a brilliant one to watch is King Arthur.

King Arthur was absolutely ****. T2 was much better for sake of comparison overall as a watchable movie.
it Could Never Come Close to the First Film to be Fair, I had modest expectations and they were greatly exceeded :D
I felt it really takes away the optimism from the end of the first film, I enjoyed the film but it seemed kinda pointless, Nostalgia for nostalgias sake
That was one bad film, it's very rare I want a film to end but I did with this, no were near as good as the first

Sainsburys have excessive id requirements - fine if you have paper statements but no good for me as all my banking and utilities are online statements.

I got this last month and didn't need any statements at all?

I might have missed something but isn't this cold?
If we're talking about the just one month difference I would suspect the majority of people would go for Sainsburys "No Balance Transfer Fee" card which is 0% for 28 months but the 1.5% transfer fee is refunded.
It also has the same 5,000 nectar points deal.
Not really as with the "No Balance Transfer Fee" you would have 0% interest on
purchases for 3 months only, instead of 29.

Hi.
Any idea if the sainsburys local will stock them? I'm only close to the smaller ones..
Thanks
MacPhisto

That's awesome, thought I was doing well to get £400 each from Wigan and Leigh stores, hopefully Leigh will have another £250 this afternoon then that should be me done 8)

I had to go to lots of stores, but for me it made sense to do it... I think i went to a total of 11 stores to get them, lucky for me york is small. Only one shop got fussy about selling so many to me as it is officially 4 per customer (not per transaction - they showed their screen to me)...

You have to make the most of these offers when you see them... many thanks to OP for posting it.

Anyone annoyed i got lots from York, i also posted i think the only store left with them in.

Anyone know if you can use trade point and oap discount together? A little off topic, apologies

No

Either OAP or Trade, you can use these gift cards at Trade. As trade discount alters on everything, sometimes it's the same as retail - the OAP discount could work out best... so you need to double check all the prices really which is not practical.

--

On a side note i was able to get £5,400 worth of vouchers - took time, but i got them... valid for 5 years and as i have 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens to redo this year... these will get spent and it's saved me £840 :)

I just put about 100 hrs into this game over 2 playthroughs. Having loved the original trilogy, I'd say a 'hot' deal would be for bioware to pay you to play this hot garbage. Voted cold as spending any amount of money on a totally miserable time still equals a totally miserable time. It's Iike 1 x 0 = 0. Ignoring the bugs, you've still got the characters, the voice acting, the dialogue writing, storyline and ramifications of your decisions at such a laughably poor quality, all I can say is AVOID. There's so many better titles out at the moment to play.

You've put 100 hours over two playthroughs into a game you'd only recommend if Bioware paid you?

Brilliant.
timblake9
I'm looking to do the same as you, what groceries did you get? I really can't decide what to buy to bring it up to £40 haha

:D

Just the essentials, nothing fancy. There's a can of Budweiser (albeit 150ml) on there for 1p, so don't miss that (y)
The game was a good idea but executed incredibly poorly, and a huge step backwards for the franchise. I wouldn't be surprised if they do what people are speculating and put the franchise on hold for a few years, then return to Shepherds Adventures in the Milky Way

Oh and they better remaster the trilogy now after this mess.

much better company than musicmagpie
My Brothers experience this week with musicmagpie
Thurs 11th - iPhone 6 ordered 'good' condition
Sat 13th - delivered with - fairly battered, speaker volume very low
Monday 15th - returned
Wednesday 17th - confirmation its been received, and a replacement once sourced will be sent
Friday 19th - email to say that a no replacement found and refund being made
Poor customer service, no alternative presented (and they have 100's in stock), no apology for the poor service, no service recovery - not bothered!
MusicMagpie - dont bother! BAD customer service!

I'd agree with this. I bought the iphone 6 deal - a "very good" for £193. It came in a right state, filthy and with more gashes/dents than expected. The phone battery shows as 75% on one app and 80% on another app and is classed as "bad". I know from reading MM's reviews that they reject phones as faulty if the phone shows a battery capacity at less than 80%. Paying extra for "very good" I thought it would actually be in a good condition.

Also I am too scared to ask for a refund because after reading the reviews of how they treat people selling their phones to them - they seem to treat the phones badly effectively wrecking phones during the testing period and then claim the seller sent it like that and then the seller only gets a couple of quid for the phone they sent in a decent condition.

Last thing I want is to send it back and not get a refund so stuck with a phone with a crap battery. Would rather have done the o2 thing instead. The phones I've got refurbed from them have only every had a few charge cycles on them and the cases/phone really was "like new" with just a single mark or small gash or scratch on the case.

love belvedere, by far my favourite vodka (much nicer than grey goose IMO!) - will make sure i drop in at the weekend and see if they have any in nottingham. normal price is usually £30-40 a bottle (grapefruit is £34 on drinksdirect) so £25 is a good price!

Since both the Sainsburys now have An Argos in them they appear to have stopped selling Dimensions. Neither had any when I went to look

Applied on day 1 of this deal and got accepted for £12.5k. Nightmare admin process. Had to sign paper forms etc. Took 3 days for the forms to arrive, another 3 days for them to receive the forms. PIN arrived a week later and card another week after that. I've made the 4 transactions now (within 3 days of receiving card!) and they confirmed after a phone call today that it was within time. Can't really complain as a really good deal and it has ended up working for me but delays in admin and postage were frustrating!
My card finally arrived on friday, I've got just under two weeks to go to Sainsbury's four times

Still hoping for local Tesco to reduce there's as they have a couple boxes doing nothing. And they have new series display up. Who manages their toy section lol
Thank you for the post managed to get 5 different ones on my local store today (
Same here. Have you seen the frames you can get? Gives a different display perspective to displaying them than sitting on a shelf

Just to be clear, when I finally get the card I need to do 4 x "shops" (4 separate chocolate bar purchases) in month 1 and then pay those off BEFORE i do the balance transfer in month 2 or 3?
I got my card - did my balance transfer then made 4 purchases (about £20 worth of shopping each) I kept my receipts just in case. As long as it is within the 1st month not sure it matters.
Got mine too x

I was talking to the manager at our local Poundland and he told me that they have had to diversify from the £1.00 model because of Brexit and the resulting collapse in our currency. You will also find they can no longer source some favourites. Oh Well... I guess we will have to dig deeper into our pockets.

Lol like he's got a grasp on world economics, did you mention to him Brexit has yet to actually happen :D

How is this potentially free? You can claim the offer on one app with one receipt (and on the other app with another receipt). You cannot claim the offer on both apps with the same receipt, sorry.

2 4 £16 off is it? How does this £5 thing work please
Morrisons were doing a 2 for £16 offer, which expired on 18th April and I mentioned it for those who had used this offer before this date.

They are currently selling for £10 per box in ASDA and Sainsbury's. Download the ClickSnap and CheckoutSmart apps onto your mobile and register. Then find the offer within each app and upload your receipt (clearly showing the date and the item(s) purchased). They will then verify your receipts and confirm/decline your payments.

Also lots in the Horsham branch today. I think there was one that came with a gummy mix too

There is a milk chocolate one with gummy mix plus a white one with gummy mix too, although these were only 80p before Easter, the chocolate is below average and cheap tasting and the chocolate caramels are not too great either. Wouldn't bother it's better paying for a quality brand.
Also lots in the Horsham branch today. I think there was one that came with a gummy mix too
They are very similar to Thorntons chocolate which is my favourite.

I would put them well above Mars as well, Mars aint so nice any more.
