Nothing there for me but have some heat because it's HB
Seconded, because without even looking i'm probably in the same boat...
I question the ethics of listing the deal for 78p in text, but using the picture of a €9.99 game. It's a slippery slope from there to rounding up Nintendo owners and putting them in camps, that's all I'm saying.
Read the title wrong.

Does the SPRING10 discount code work on this?

It's not working at the moment, so seems it might be flagged as pre-purchase still even though the game is released today

It's expired as far as I can see.
Where do I find it on the main page now? Everything seems to have changed
Just so people know... this game very regularly goes on sale for 39p on Steam.

Also,it's currently part of the $1 bundle at Bundlestars where you'd also get the first two in the sequel http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/steam-dollar-forever-bundle-0-95-bundle-stars-2673378

Hadn't actually heard of this one but the reviews look good enough and it deserves the £1.39 just for the incredibly bad pun doubling as a title.
Saw this when it was released but reviewers said it was a bit pricey for what it is, but now it's a great price, thanks OP!

If the trading cards for each game are worth 12p (Working on a conservative estimate of 3 cards at 4p each), you can make £3.12 by selling them on. :{
...just need to play all the games to get the cards.:|

You'actually only make a penny or 2, sorry if this sounds like I'm being pedantic.

When games go into bundles, the card price plummets (these were likely low already)

3-4p per card. After Steam / market fees is 1-2p IF they sell (the lowest value you can place an item on sale is 3p, so there will be a stack / que before yours is sold)

Still good value in "trading card" terms.

Brought me one of these - think it's a great deal - I have had dyson in the past and whilst it's a good vacuum the newer ones don't appear to be what they were and cost a small fortune - shark have an amazing following in the USA and the reviews in U.K. Look good - a 28 day trial and free steam mop with a 5 year guarantee - heat from me -

No doubt the Dyson pack will run it down X)
might want to call it a 'vacuum' rather than a 'hoover' as that is a brand name...
have this over any Dyson any day...
And every time you use it you'll be thinking 'i wish i'd bought a dyson...'
So is it a Shark, or a Hoover?

Worth a tenner not a penny more.

With scaling off, Quantum Break is the most demanding PC game bar none. With it turned on it runs way faster, but obviously you trade off image quality.

Note: controller is highly recommended for this game, I don't have one and had to give up on the game.
Bastion has a demo, so you can try it before you buy it (I liked it). This is nearly (10p off?) an all-time low price.

TotalBiscuit likes it: WTF Is... - Bastion ?

Bastion Metacritic: 86% (17 critics, 8.6 from 1381 users), Steam: Overwhelmingly Positive 97% (15768 reviews)
Wonderful game and soundtrack - worth every penny
Got this in a Humble Bundle and didn't pay any attention to it until at least a year later. Decided to try it and loved it. I think i finished the game in two days.

Assetto Corsa is amazing as a simulator and one of the best VR experiences there is, expect a fairly steep learning curve because of this and not so much of a player friendly experience like GT/Forza, if you don't have a wheel or are not planning to get one I would not recommend this game. Be sure to get it with the dream packs as well if you want to play online as the DLC content is used often. Don't play on minorating servers to start with as you'll ruin your safety rating, however this is a good place to go once you can race clean and it restricts the crash happy from being among you.
conorlynn7
just got my g29 steering wheel today so this is a pretty well timed deal thanks op 8)

Same here, got the g920 two days ago from the currys offer, played forza 6 on my Xbox and loved it so now looking for pc games to use it on as well!
I was just missing the Porsche Dream Pack from my DLC and that was only £6.45 for all three packs!

For those new to the game and like online play then these two mods are worth getting:

HTC vive support now? , looks like i will be taking the works HTC vive home for "technical research purposes"(_;)
Zeipher
I have project cars... is this worth getting?
Ya know how Gran Turismo calls itself the 'Real Driving Simulator'?

Well Assetto Corsa actually lives up to that claim. It's not a great 'game' if you want a campaign and a sense of career progression and all that stuff, but holy hell does it nail the driving aspect. The AI is also highly competent, so you can actually challenge yourself against it unlike something like Gran Turismo. It does have its share of annoying quirks, though.

If you have a wheel and like sim racing, it's an absolute must-own, no question about it.

If you have a controller and are only mildly interested in sim racing, it might be worth a look at this price, but there's a chance you wont get along with it without something 'more'.

To me this looks like a good deal. Main game and season pass.

Are people voting cold because its a bad game or is it the fact people think it's just the season pass?

I want to pull the trigger and buy as it looks ok but did anyone play the beta and can confirm this is a poor game?

lol i knew it would be cold people would give it heat if it was a samsung s8 going for 1,000,000,000 but cold for a game that only costs loose change typical
More likely because you are moaning that your deal is gone cold, that more people will vote cold. Happens all the time , really can't understand why people get upset if a deal goes cold, just move on life's too short.

lol im not moaning...im just saying there is a lot of people out there that do this just cuz its not on their platform...if this was a deal on the ps4 then it wouldv been 495 degrees already
is this for the game and season pass or just season pass?

cheers

Anyone know if you can carry over saves from the original version?
I don't believe they do.

Thanks. Still bought it. Starting over is hardly a bad thing with this game.

Those sequences can be a little tricky (there's a few more of them) but they're not as hard as they look and after dying a few times, you do get the pattern and get through it which is hugely satisfying when you nail it.

My Xbox credit was expiring and I bought this at full price which I don't regret in the slightest, it's been one of my favourite games this generation for the beautiful visuals, excellent soundtrack and tight controls. The game can be punishing and unforgiving but with frequent use of save points you can die a lot without losing anything and the game doesn't feel unfair as the controls are great, when you get the feel of the game it's immensely satisfying pulling off complex jumping sequences.

Loved the game until that damn water escape. Ruined the game for me.
I too loved this game, gave up at the same point, got the def edition, played it on easy and still got stuck at a later point, would love to finish it but my gaming time is far too limited to waste it banging my head against a wall :(
Exactly my thoughts! I can't spare the time to do the same thing over and over.

This game is incredible. Best Total War game to date.
Price has been slightly cheaper in the past but this is still well worth it.
Shame it doesn't include Fall of the Samurai, that would be an amazing deal.

I think the PSVR is more of a gaming platform though. So, at this moment in time, it's better for games.

It's on my Steam wish list and a pretty decent deal but I have so many other games I haven't played yet that I'm not biting until it passes my self-imposed sub-£5 limit.

I'm gonna buy it I think, looks awesome and I was about to start Ark again for the millionth time but tbh I always get sick of that as spent so many hours on it.
Think it's time for another one and this looks wicked!
I've had it a while (This) but have really yet to play it.
There's things in VR that needed/need ironing out.
It's updated often though.
I've always been interested in this and Stranded (Stranded more), have you played that one? Both look awesome
Stranded deep? My mate played it and loved it but looking at recent reviews they have gone down to mixed on that.
When I use to watch him stream it there didn't seem much to do, where as this there to much to do X)
I'm just holding out downloading this for the mo, as the next set of patches are for VR optimisation.
Oops, yes I meant Stranged Deep haha.
Ah ok then I will go for this one if anything outta the 2 of them then!
I don't have VR, so I might buy it now hmm hmm lol. *more youtube videos...*
Wouldn't worry to much about the VR aspect as it meant to be just as good in 2D.
Aye, I am sure it is, just gonna watch a few more videos and get a feel for the combat / overall game feel :)

Not a massive survivalist game player but I was overwhelmed with everything on offer.
I need a learner guide when it's a finished game.
been considering this for a while so at this price seems an easy decision. Ta

Fantastic games to play with friends around so many laughs

Can't recommend it enough

What a confusing title :D

It is so much sale I can't cope haha :P
Each game is available individually and 1+2 are available as a bundle. You can use code EASTER5 on all of them apart from the third game.

My personal recommendation would be to get 1 for sure (a solid set of classics) and 3 as well (some really interesting games).

Zoso cdkeys has never sold Xbox accounts so you are obviously just trolling. I've been using cdkeys for years without any issues, also they have provided sources in the past to prove where their keys have been purchased. I've pre-ordered from them many times and had no issues cancelling preorders, I would say they have very good customer service. You are missing out by not purchasing from them considering the obvious saving you would make.

Don't pre-order, don't buy from the grey market. Cold.
agreed, may as well pirate, it's completely immoral
Sorry, I liked this by mistake. How is buying a grey market key immoral? As long as it's not stolen then the publisher is still being paid. In fact it is arguably far less immoral than buying a used copy of a console game from the high street, Ebay or Amazon or lending a game from a friend.
yeah you keep telling yourself that.....everyone knows how they obtain their keys, that's why they are banned on here. Grey imports rob the publisher of profit FACT
They also used to sell xbox accounts, which is a direct violation of MS user policy.
I wouldn't touch cdkeys with a bargepole, I go through legitimate retailers for my games (Steam etc) and ensure the publisher gets every penny they rightfully earned.
Take a minute and look at what you just wrote.

They're not banned on here. If they were banned on here then this thread wouldn't exist. And I think you'll find that most publishers don't earn a damn thing unless you consider money spent on marketing, YouTuber sponsorship and lavish press parties to be cash well spent. The publisher are mostly just the money men and the bridge between the developer and retail. I'm not entirely sure that CDKeys have ever actually sold Xbox accounts either.
dude, trust me they sold xbox accounts, as I unwittingly purchased one not realising it was an account, I thought it was a key (and the price was similar to other retailers for a key which was even more confusing)....then cdkeys refused to give money back when I called them out on it.
I love how 'experts' like you think you understand the financial working of software / developer houses. Well you don't buddy, you are not privy to their financial statements, strategies or management of their business.
The internet is full of 'experts' who flippantly explain away malpractice to convince themselves and everybody else that what they are doing is not immoral.
Grey imports steal profits from companies, that is an absolute irrefutable published and documented fact, and your ostentatious display of vulgarity on the subject wont change that fact!
I will never purchase anything from cdkeys, and I know lots of other people who don't either for the same reason, so don't lecture me. If you want to buy from them, good luck to you, but unless you can put some proof on here they they are not siphoning profits from developers I am not interested, pal.

I find it ironic that you're dissing internet "experts" who flippantly offer their views, and then you go on to do precisely that yourself.

You bought an Xbox account from CDKeys? Well normally I would take your word for it but since you're kind of being a jerk about this, I want proof or it didn't happen. I have been using them and following them on social media for years and I've never seen them market accounts. Not once.
You haven't tackled my original question either. Ignoring scam artists like PSN account websites, G2A etc, how is using a grey key seller any worse than buying a used game or lending one from a friend?
There are trustworthy key sellers who are considered 'grey' and the only reason why they are considered grey is because they don't sign into the same local RRP agreements that the likes of Amazon, Green Man Gaming etc do. Nuuvem for example were told they would be stripped of their trusted status if they didn't take every measure possible to restrict their products from Europeans and Americans. What you're doing here is really just standing up for huge corporations at the detriment of your own wallet.
what we have here is a mexican stand off, you have you;re opinion, and I have mine......I can't prove re account, I don't have access to it anymore, but I purchased like 3 years ago. Maybe, they realised they shouldn't be doing it themselves, so stopped, but they were 100% selling xbox live accounts marketed as games......
I don't think the loan to friend thing really stacks up, it is not apples V apples, it is coming up with a side argument tio support another. I loan a friend a game I purchased to a friend, I still purchased it and gave the company my money.
The RRP agreements are there for a reason, you can't talk about profit motive and then ignore cdkeys from that statement. Why do you think they exist, to make you happy, or to make money? They don't make money following accepted fair process as followed by other retailers, that have to sell higher to retain margin and ensure developers get their margins.
There is no way that cdkeys are passing fair margin back to the publishers.......that is where I think it is immoral, because I think these guys work hard and deserve their rewards. If I buy a game from amazon X% goes to publisher, if I buy one from cdkeys it doesn't......

CDKeys source a lot of their games from this country. They buy in bulk like the major retailers do but don't sign into the RRP and NDA contracts that the bigger companies do. I know that because they used to post pictures of their deliveries on Facebook and Twitter.

The developer will get the same regardless. Contracts for development employees are usually salary paid (the games industry doesn't work like Hollywood just yet) and there's occasionally a small commission involved but most employees don't even get that. Only a few of the top level staff usually do.

In most cases the majority of profit goes to the publisher and investors because they're the ones who paid the salaries and took the risk on the game's development. I actually know a few full-time game developers who buy their games from the likes of MMOGA and CDKeys because they want to play the latest titles but need to watch the bank balance in the same way that everyone else does.

games with 130MB of download... more like 8bit games... :(
That would have taken a hell of a long time to load from tape...

Many thanks.
Do not understand how getting a free game can go cold.
No logic whatsoever.
However way you want to look at it, if a game that normally costs you money and is now free then it has to be a hot deal.

If I was selling my dog's poo, but had a change of heart and started giving it away for free, would that be a good deal? Same principle....if a game's terrible, even at giveaway pricing it's still not a great offer.
