So in theory I could set an account up then cancel and still get my 2 months worth? call me stupid now, but do you read via an app? Or the Internet on your phone?

8. Do I need to download an app to use Readly?
To read magazines on Readly you will need to download our app to your phone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play Store. You can also read on your computer with our web browser version of Readly at: go.readly.com

Not sure if cancellation is instant or whether you have to put it in a calendar

Right, where do I start! Sharing my experience of staying at Pontins Cambersands this April. Was in Pontins Brean Sands during the Feb Half-term and the facilities are even worse at the Breansands.
Accommodation: OK, very basic. A 14" colour CRT TV with only 3/4 channels sitting on top of a tired wardrobe that has a missing draw. Rusty hob, rusty oven, Toilet door does not remain closed does not lock. One single sized bedroom with one bunk bed and a single bed sized 2/3 of small single bed. Mattress toppings came loose and the springs were in all direction, poking me when used. It is a good thing that a good number of duvets were supplied which saved me from some bed-roll. I do not see a point of having a bathroom shower, if it only allows very hot water; lucky that I tested the water before I went under, otherwise I would have went on to complain about it and they would have pointed out to the warning sign somewhere in the bathroom that reads ‘Caution, VERY HOT water!’. The accommodation had an un-interrupted electricity and water supply, there were bins with plastic bags, toilet tissues, floors clean windows clean, sufficient cutleries and cookeries, tea-cups, plates and glasses. The toaster, microwave oven and the fridge worked too. We were not aware that we had to pre-book bed linen and they were not available to rent upon arrival. So I had to buy some from the Nissa store; the price seemed too high for the quality.
Surrounding: The walls are quite thin and the neighbours next door got drunk and made noise, kept us awake till early morning on the Friday night. There were smells of suspicious smoke all around outside and this is not pretty. Cigarette butts everywhere, in the play-areas too. There were people smoking ‘while keeping an eye on the children’ in the play area. The car parking spaces were all taken and we had to park a long way away from our accommodation. Someone drove into my new car’s near-side wing mirror, did not leave a note! People smoking just outside the main hall causing the main hall stunk of tobacco, not a healthy environment. A couple of play areas were under refurbishment and not accessible.
Entertainment: Arcade area was good, as they all worked. For the outdoor games, only Crazy Golf, Trampoline, aero ball (trampoline with ball throwing to a goal post) and tri-cycle/four wheeled-cycles were available. No bouncy castle, no Segway, no Laser Tag, no Quad Car Driving. People obviously crowded to the few available facilities and queued for the rides for which you usually don’t! There were evening entertainments provided by the Blue-coats and I must say, they did their best. However, no external entertainer and you have the usual Bingo, game show and some fancy coloured lighted, high volume dance and party which TBH, kept the children engaged.
I will not go back, I must admit. It is all very basic and clearly, going downhill. There were not much to do after the first half of the day and then we decided to explore the nearby attractions.

sad. really enjoyed pontins as a kid at southport. Must say that i quite often stop in southport to break up the drive from edinburgh to oxford and its a great beach and town for kids, though i havent been to pontins there since maybe 1984.

The sale prices arent cheap, i dread to think how much the non sale prices are. im spending 8 nights in a eurocamp in nice next week for less than pontins want for a week in some of their sites in their sale.
My own experience is much the same as most already posted. When we went to Pakefield in Lowestoft 3 or 4 years ago, we found that everything was chipped and cracked and much was covered in graffiti - and that was only the inmates. The accommodation was so tired it was comatose. The "food" was a nightmare and we enjoyed the experience so much that, even though we'd booked 3 nights, we left after 2.
My experience doesn't seem to be the same as others on here, my daughter and I spent three nights half board at pontins Pakefield at February half term. We paid £104 and we both had a really good time. The accommodation was dated but clean, there was plenty to do and the food was surprisingly good. Not 5 star luxury but a good cheap uk break which the kids will enjoy
They can't get rid of Pontins. It's the only thing remaining on the sun holidays promotion . Lol I've read you have to take cleaning stuff to clean the apartment when you arrive. Not my idea of a holiday.

I do not understand why this went cold either!
This deal shouldn't be cold - I bought some of these when they were 3 for £20 for xmas pressies and everyone loved them. Very good quality and perfect size to fill with recipients favourite treats and practical to use as a lunchbox too.

BK kid's meals are £2.25 near us. It's Batman toys at the moment.

BK still do a value meal - only about £2.15 for small burger, fries, drink, which is good if you don't feel up to a big burger.
Also a voucher in whats on tv pg 37 45p
