Unless your cat has a weight problem or no teeth, why on earth would anyone choose to feed it 'soup'? Surely it's just a way for the manufacturer to cut costs, i.e. less density of meat / stuff of nutritional value, replaced by more water... :{

I didn't realise at first but this is a complementary food i.e. a treat and/or should not be given exclusively so no it won't be nutritionally complete for them. There is plenty of meat/fish in there as the ingredients only have basically meat, fish, veg.

Edited By: yrreb88 on Dec 16, 2016 23:46: .

Purina make dreadful food, Bakers Go cat etc. The ingredients in this: Fish and Fish Derivatives (of which Natural Tuna Loins 20%), Molluscs and Crustaceans (Shrimps 4%), Derivatives of Vegetable Origin - 24% fish 76% crap

Those are the only ingredients though. As the pic shows, it's basically meat/fish in water/soup. To describe the product as "with tuna and shrimp" a minimum of 4% each of tuna and shrimp are needed, it does not mean there is only 24% fish in there and "76% other" as can be shown by the ingredients. With a protein content of 75% when you exclude the water, there has to be a fair amount of fish, definitely more than 24%. :)
This 'product' really is the triumph of marketing over reason!
I would NEVER buy it - would rather throw a pound coin in the street.
Want to give your cat some gourmet 'soup', for free? Add a tablespoon of warm water to their wet cat food, and stir...watch them lap up the 'soup', and lick their lips!

Cat soup? What on earth? Next we'll be giving them a blue rinse and sitting them down at the table in dining rooms to eat it out of the bowl -I won't say with a spoon (let's not be ridiculous) - although my cat likes to eat ON the table and eat MY food out of MY bowl. I don't think I've made this point very well. Humph (I think).

all 3 of my cats eat from my plate and spoon, doesn't bother me (but only when allowed, they are not badly behaved). I tried the Sheba soup and there was no soup, it was rank looking chicken in a grey gravy and very little of it. However the packet shows an orange broth. Dubious to try any other brand. I make them 'chicken soup' by slicing chicken small and steaming in the microwave in some water. Also do the same with fish. Much cheaper and simple

Hey guys, this says age 14+... I've got an 8/9 year old that loves shooting stuff (not animals or humans thankfully!), would this be ok for him (supervised)? Wondering if the age restriction is just something they've had to put on it, or if it really is very heavy/awkward and therefore not suitable.
It's back up to £19.99 on Argos, but as someone mentioned above it's £14 on Amazon Prime.

Ive bought it for my 42 year old brother so I haven't opened it up to check it out. If you type in the name of this on you tube there's lots of videos demonstrating it. Some of the kids on there seem to be 10-12 ish and manage to hit targets etc. I think the age limit might just reflect on the common sense factor that some children may lack and think it's funny to hit their sibling in the face with it etc

Surprised as. We have had nine fiats and are currently on our 6th ALFA and the only real problem has been the dealers who are useless. But fortunately there are some good ALFA indys out there.
Really pleased that you have had good fortune. I forgot to mention the dealer network, absolutely laughable. One of my Fiat purchases lasted all of two days. The dealer made such a **** up, the car had to be returned or legal action would have followed. Honestly, I take no great pleasure in slagging off Fiat as they design lovely cars, unfortunately building them is a problem, for me anyway. My favourite two cars were both Fiats. The 500, the last Fiat we bought was a design icon, but almost killed my wife. My previous Fiat to that was a Grande Punto Multijet Sporting. 1.9 diesel that went like stink, and great fuel economy. Alas, Fiat no more as my wife has threatened to have me sectioned as insane if I buy another one!

LM 4 pack of pies aren't as good as they used to be which is a shame.

Agree, hardly anything in them. I make my own whenever I can find the packets of LM mince. Not seen any for a while though :(
Had this tonight. It comes with a tiny bit of sauce or gravy at the bottom of the tray, but I agree with the OP you need to make a gravy or something to have it with - I had chilli chutney. It was okay, good value at £2.64, quite sweet.

I'll agree but these are really delicious and impossible to eat just one or two of three!

Each to their own. Personally I think licking the walls on the side of my house would be tastier. Bought a packet of both the milk and white ones. Binned them both.
Ignore Danny. Definitely worth posting though for those who do like these cardboard treats.

Contactless credit card protection - £5.00 @ Kickstarter

Seen this looks very smart and good quality I've ordered one and it's up to 50% off, ok it's on kickstarter but still worth a punt and it's British, made in the UK.

I just asked the bank to deactivate the contactless. Hardly ever used it.
You have to go to your bank and change your card for a new one, they take your card and a new one arrived in the post took three days then another day for the pin to arrive
I didn't get any of that. Contactless doesn't work still.

Right so I read through and watched the videos and the cards can be read and seem to give much more informaion than the front of the card. The Which report made payments with the details they took
The video on the campaign shows your card transaction history so I think that could be useful to someone.
Ok if I accept that tin foil works or helps I aint gonna do what punnet says and do all that bother- geeze lousie
djames I was pick pocketed in london you never know when it happens so this to me is easier. I can't se how havjng two cards helps because I have read where payment is taken from one card and not the one you intended so.

Anyway I voted it becaue it seems a good deal to me and was half price. I need contactless when I go to london so getting it deactivated doesn't make any sense and it was made in UK so im buying british not imported.

all you have to do is break the rfid antenna on your card. happened to mine after it went through the wash a few too many times and cracked.
also the post with the "facts" is a bit misleading. it implies someone cant steal your money if they have taken your card details but they can easily put that on a blank card or other rfid tag and then go spending with no pin required.

Anyone have any good (ie. tasty, easy & relatively foolproof to make) recipes for vegetable samosas, please?
Thanks!

Well depends on what you like on the inside to be honest....normally asians here in the UK buy this think layered pastry available at most retailers, its a giant square and multiple layered, usually cut in long rectangles. Or could make it using fresh dough and then you got the heavier type like Shingara which are similar.

Usually the inner part is cooked like normal as though it could be eaten separately, except of course no masala/sauce so it doesnt soak the pastry.

You could look at ndtv samosa recipes and any other places and trial and error. Which is the way, my mum and pretty sure a lot of my other relatives do that and I have generally seen different types, even ones which use tuna. Another good one in the shingara form is daal. It all comes to seasoning.

When I look around my supermarket all I see are these migrant foods. I want to see my British supermarkets full of good honest British foods!
Imagine it - shelves and shelves of eels! Delicious slippery eels frozen for your convenience, chilled and ready to eat right away or tinned for when you are on a budget. Oh, watch out for eel crisps, sure to be a hit with the kids.
Don't forget to pick up some eely cheesey bites to go with the pewter tankard of 'mead' that has been frothing up in your water tank (no continental swill here!). Go wild and dunk a whole eel in to your drink! You'll only regret it a little.
Also, these are cheap. I question the eel content for that price though.

It'll all change when Teresa gets her act together....

Good for you, but HUKD is about deals for things people buy. People buy LG Sauces (do you seriously believe that none are bought at full price?). This deal is for 50% off full price, so hot for me. If you know of any cheaper deals for LG Sauces then please post them. As you say yourself, don't be lazy. :D

Thanks for explaining what the purpose of this site is for, it wasn't quite clear. Obviously, statistically, some will be bought at full price, as some people insist on buying the same nonsense in supermarkets, week in, week out, however, for the more savvy amongst us, or indeed more daring, others like to branch out and try different products occasionally. For what it's worth, I've seen these in shops for 59p, 69p and 89p before also...

Try Saintsbury's Taste the Difference fish fingers as an alternative - should you eat fish. A far, far better alternative to - let's be honest - these dreary burgers.

a) Most vegetarians don't eat fish, so your suggestion to try a particular brand of fish finger is bizarrely irrelevant.
b) Let's be honest, you haven't tried these burgers, have you?

No vegetarians eat fish. if you eat fish you're not vegetarian by definition.

Anyone voting cold, have u got better deal for this particular mustard? Still not very cheap but good price for decent mustard.

So what do you do with 1/2 kilo (1 lb) of Mustard?

Some people don't BBQ or slap it everywhere.

To some this is a large amount of mustard to use in a relatively short space of time.

I would assume this is why the minuses.

If u didn't noticed in same post you have 215g jars in offer as well
robin5858
I do appreciate quality but quantity is also a issue. No point buying a large jar of something if you don't finish it.

Very true, which is why I also posted the two smaller jars which are also on offer.
