Bah - never paid a transfer fee and never will. I generally go for fee free and the swap to another fee free card if I haven't cleared the outstanding balance. I usually flip between Tesco and Halifax cards and get £20 each time from Quidco / Topcashback.
Do you close the account after swapping or they'll close it if you don't use it for a while? Just cause I'm thinking that if you have it open after the other's promotional period over and you're about to go back do they still let you get another one on top? Or how you do it? Hope it makes sense what I said, as if you close the account then it will affect credit score.
I close the account after I've cleared it or transferred it to a 0% balance transfer card. Just make sure you set up a direct debit for the minimum payment as soon as you open the card account. That why you'll never (hopefully) miss a payment. This process is called "stoozing". It shouldn't affect your credit score as your credit record will show that you had a credit card and you made all the payments on time. This process works for me but it's not financial advice. Used correctly 0% purchase and balance transfer cards are great. Just remember you need to pay it back. It's also worth using the card eligibility tool on the money saving expert website to see which card you are likely to be eligible for. As mentioned this does not constitute financial advice.

I think existing customers are being offered 38 months (September 2020) at 3% fee for balance transfers and same for money transfers with a 3.5% fee. I bought a car with my money transfer.

I stalked my local Aldi until they reduced the last 3 to £20. Then a week later saw the last one was reduced to £15. Still, I consider it a bargain and would rather have it for £20 then risk losing out or getting a return.

I originally bought a little prop stand for the back wheel which is almost useless. Glad I have this repair stand; I can do a lot more.
bought one at full price great bit of kit
I paid £30 for it last week :-( I was happy at the time - absolute bargain at this price if it's the same stand.
bargain
Great price if you can find one for that.

good luck with a repair from Samsung.my note 4 will now be the last Samsung I own after their disgraceful service. they score 0.8/10 on trust pilot.
do the screen break easily on these a few review saying they have broken easily.
Can't decide whether to get this or wait for a decent s8 deal....
I get H signal at work and 4G at home. At home I get download in 30s easy and upload in teens. Shall I do a speed test at work for you?
TV!
Im already with three on a sim only. Does anyone know if you can port your number if your already with three to this deal or would I need to request my pac then port to say giff gaff first then get pac from them and the port back to three. You would think in this day and age it would be a fairly simple process.
I suspect you'll need to port to another provider and then back again to 3. This deal will be geared towards new customers.

ebay, g2a, whatever... if you're happy with one you should be happy with either. cheap games on either are 90% likely to be keys bought somewhere with dodgy credit cards.
If you want to support the devs, buy from a legit source. if you just want another game in your steam collection without buying full price, then buy from these.
also, imo the game is about worth £6 in the first place. its about an hours worth of playing around. its pretty good but little to no replay value unless you're showing off your vive to people.

Preach. Thats why so many game dev are putting out their content online instead of tradition distro methods

I figure as I bought it for £20 on my PlayStation Account (and don't have PSVR now) I'd try it, Gamezville look like they are reputable from the history and probably benefit from being from a country in the EU, so don't have to subsidise North Ireland lol.

oh yeah, real reputable and EU. lol

At the end of the day its Halfords Advance and many pro mechanics will be using them regardless of opinion here..
The lifetime guarantee sees to that, compared with many other pro tools out there Halfords advance range are brilliant value for money.

Any problem with a tool and they swap it for a new one no quibble!

They need to start selling sofas they'd make a killing with this marketing!
not sure that makes any sense or has any relevance to this post.
Perhaps too subtle.... I was likening Halfords tool sales to DFS sofa sales. Far too frequent!
These are always around this price.
I understand that they are frequent however the offer is good not just an endorsement? the quality and variety that comes in the set makes it hard to match price wise to anything i've seen lately. unlike home furniture companies which actually are terrible deals and misleading.
But when a sale is on regularly once a month (and I hasten to add these have been much cheaper in the past) is that not proving that your product is not worth the original rrp and purely marketing hype? I find these deals misleading as they do not show the true worth of the product.
The quality is OK.and will suffice for semi professional use but they are not by any long shot, top of the range tools and a very far reach from the Advanced pro that Halfords used to sell.
As for variety, yes wonderful but most of the kit is never going to see the light of day not many will need 1/4 and 3/8 one or the other will suffice and even fewer will probably need to venture outside of metric sockets unless suddenly most of the uk decides to become vintage car mechanics.
As for the lifetime warranty I'd rather my tooling didn't break in the first place

If you enjoy Talos, you might enjoy The Witness too.
thought this was a nod32 deal for a moment there :}
I've been a gamer for over 30 years, this rates in as one of my favourite games of all time. Filled with Easter eggs around every corner.
Some puzzles are really challenging, but it's one of those ones where if you leave it and come back another time with a different perspective you'll probably solve it.
I managed to bag every puzzle piece and star eventually. I also think the DLC is excellent.
Fantastic game.
Gehenna is the only one worth getting and definitely worth £2.74. Be wary of trying to get every star as some are nearly impossible. Story is really strong, puzzles are pleasantly hard.
As it's only another 3p for the Gold edition which gives the other 4 bits you may as well.
How is the DLC?

Bought the base game a while ago for £7.50. Should probably try it before buying the DLC though lol

Cheaper on eBay probably means fakes. It's common knowledge a lot of supposed apple headphones and on eBay and Amazon are fake.

Preacher and Lucifer have very little to do with the TV shows b.t.w, it's not like the Walking Dead where there are some differences. They're both good but really they are the same in name and basic premise only
Preacher might move closer to the comic now that they are on the road. Season 1 was effectively a prequel to the comic. And the fact that the Lucifer comic isn't like the show is a good thing!

Agreed. I liked that they explored The Saint Of Killers character origins in the TV series. Currently reading and half way through volume 1 of the graphic novel. Really enjoying it.

Wait until they make a Sandman TV show, Neil Gaiman will be turning in his grave (he's not dead but he is a bit goth)

Voted hot but I stopped using picks like this years ago. I use a Gravity Pick now and I haven't looked back since. They last long, sounds better and in my opinion are easier to play with.

Can these also be used with a Ukulele?

I suggest using a hammer...

Not to burst the bubble, but wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.
Windows 10 on a 32GB hard drive, plus word & excel and you're already nearing the limit of what you can store on there. Add on a few pictures, videos and music and you're just ducked.
honestly save an extra £50 and get something refurbed for around £220
I knew this was coming, this laptop clearly is not for you or for me. Whilst I have just splashed out that on an X240, not everyone needs a powerful laptop. This is a grade A1 (not an ex-lease) at a good price, for basic computing on the go with a longer battery life than my i5 Haswell processor can last.
Peeps have differing needs.
Its definitely not for me, but part of my day to day job is recommending laptops and telling ordinary people the reason why theyre so **** off with their cheap as **** laptop.
A deal is a deal, yes.. A **** laptop is also a **** laptop, and a deal becomes **** when the product is ****.
So, what would you recommend for £159 then? A four year old beat up laptop with zero battery life? Strange then that reviews do not think it or other budget N3050 laptops are crap.
As I said, it is not for me either, but for anyone after a new (A1 refurb) laptop rather than risking some old, power hungry laptop for doing basic computing on what is there not to like.
I already stated in my description header "Hardly going to set the world alight with basic specs, but similar processor/screen models retail for around the £230 mark, so a good deal for A1 refurb in my opinion for anyone interested in a basic laptop for social media and basic productivity with decent battery life."
So yes, a deal is a deal. Your own opinion on what makes a crap laptop is just simply that, your own opinion. For anyone after a low power laptop with excellent battery life to do such basic tasks on then it is an excellent deal compared to the usual £230 retail price of such.
Unless of course you can post anything better for a similar price in your so called day to day job. Perhaps try posting a few of those 'deals' on here instead of lurking.

Well observed, yours are none existent, and failing to answer the question just proves to me what sort of person you are.

*sigh* Once again...how many other times....Whilst you and I may be into buying older laptops (mine being a late-circa 2014) Thinkpad X240 i5 430U you are trying to compare apples to oranges.
Is there much point anyone that wants a basic laptop to risk spending £90 on a power hungry Ivy Bridge laptop with questionable battery life at that age for an ex-lease business laptop.
Whilst you and I may take such gambles, and personally I prefer newer ex-lease stuff...there are plenty of users out there that have no need for a powerful CPU, particularly ones as old as that which sap power.
Not much cop for what this particular N3050 is designed for, low power use.
I never posted this deal for it to turn into a comparison with bargain business laptops, there are plenty of other deal threads for that, each of which come with various pros and cautionary cons.
your story would be true if not for specifically the last link i dropped having a low power mode switching the cpu down to 800mhz with the press of a button and with a usage of just over 1.5 Watt making it even at reduced speed a better system then the n3050's 6 Watts. The battery is also more powerful and thus runtime will be greater. weather or not the posted box is a good deal or not very much depends on individual wishes indeed but even then if there are better and cheaper options it is not much of a deal.

Pointless trying to argue with someone that already has it in their head that a second hand 4-5 year old battered up business laptop would be more suitable for the target market, or for that matter one that gets their facts wrong. The run time is not greater, the battery will be heavier as will the laptop in question, especially considering its age. About the only fact you have right is that it is far more powerful...but once again...engage brain perhaps and understand EXACTLY WHAT THIS LAPTOP IS FOR.

For anyone that is interested instead of spending £160 on a business laptop then my advice is to be cautious on the condition and check the battery, you can end up spending a lot more getting it up to spec, involving taking the unit apart as there are many unscrupulous so called refurbishers out there, usually the ones that are not Microsoft Authorised Resellers (MAR's) and don't provide new refurbished Certificate of Authenticity (COA) Windows licences. Trusted sellers like ITZOO and Gigarefurb are two recommended ones.

I got better things to do this evening like watch Glastonbury and The Crystal Maze, and leave you with the stats from the U772.

Let's give it a go worth a punt at this price.
Reviews are moderate (players really like it though):
Insurgency Metacritic: 74% (24 critics, 8.7 from 493 users), Steam: Very Positive 91% (43218 reviews)

TotalBiscuit likes it: WTF Is... - Insurgency ?
Great game but hard!
Awesome price, great game, less than the price of food and lasts for ages, 85p ain't much to lose,
I have almost 400 hours racked up in this game and still play it most days as my 'go to' FPS tactical shooter of choice. The community is also one of the best and least toxic I have ever played with.

I've been looking to buy some of these for a while but didn't want to pay the original price in case they turned out to be of little or no use, and I didn't want to buy one of the knockoffs. Now it appears Antsy has licensed the design, the price seems worth giving it a go. The only thing is Smyths won't let you choose a colour, that could be a big issue, so I'll have to look elsewhere.

I picked up a cheap clone from one of the china suppliers and have been very happy with it for 8 or 9 months now, it's not perfect but the buttons for me are the best bits, the spinning disk isn't so nice but everything else works great. Quite good at relieving boredom and more importantly I could have 4 for the price of this one.

Now, fidget spinners... I really don't see the benefit to those. Does absolutely nothing for my anxiety / attention / OCD. Same goes for other people I know.

They work in exactly the same way you just need to master single handed, subconscious play. Will do nothing for the hold in one hand whack it with the other brigade which is what most people I see doing.

No, I mean it is too one dimensional to be of much use. When it especially gets bad for me (when I'm literally sitting on my hands to stop myself), having this thing that can only spin is simply not compelling enough. Multi functional is the name of the game, which is why these cubes (and think ink pens) are perfect.

Heck, I'd argue the spin disc on the fidget cubes are far more satisfying and compelling that the spin of a fidget spinner. You have this nice wind up / wind down sensation and there's just more feedback involved. And that's just one side of six.

Pointless to non autistic / OCD / anxiety / low attention span people, sure. But for those sufferers it is a godsend. Some days, it can be debilitating for me, and things like this (or that think ink pen) can do a lot to alleviate the problem.

Stops me dad biting his nails but drives me mum nuts with the clicking, win?

Must admit once in my hands I subconsciously 'fiddle', so the design does work.

I was wondering why these are called "Mello's" and not "Mellos", so have emailed Cadbury. Maybe they are in pound land due to bad grammar?
