White onions, look like cooking onions to me.
I will have some Garlic though, the rest I will give a miss.

Shame the avocados seem to be those under ripe pallid green ones that never seem to ripen, at least in the 2 stores I have been in.
Tried the brown paper bag "hack" which did nothing or resulted in an appetising blackening on the inside. I guess if I had some grow lamps that would hasten their ripening, but I don't.
Any suggestions to make these edible raw? Thanks
The first Avocados that I purchased from Aldi had maggots in them. My first time trying Avocados and that will be my last! It churns my stomach thinking about them now.

There are onions and there are onions.......What type of onions are these? Spanish, cooking, Red Onions etc etc?

Thank you but that must be one of the worst super 6 deals I've ever seen! :(
I think its one of the best and different to the normal stuff.
Freeze the lemons and you can use them in a G&T instead of ice which waters it down :)

Wow I love these but I'm usually put off by the £2+ price. Great find. Heat from me xxxx
As comments above state - great price compared to the supermarket. If I had a HB near me I'd certainly buy them.

However I hope people aren't naive in thinking these are super healthy compared to regular crisps. They are covered in oil and contain a lot of fat, check the label.
Ooh hope they have these in my local. My favourite <3
Ta for heat - much appreciated!

Is this rapeseed or soya? Does the label say?

says "100% sunflower oil" 2 times on the label. But don't make sense if you sell as vegetable oil. They deliberately forget to include the seeds or another mix.
Excellent find op, heat added

Cheap to fill up my diesel car. Need to save some cash before the diesel tax comes in!

Surely if you use cooking oil the tax shouldn't apply :{ lol

Probably because there isn't much demand for toy plastic fruit
that is totally different product

not sure why it's so cold - i looked at these the other day and £13 seemed a fair price so £7.50 appears to be really good! Alternatively go and buy some seeds from china for $0.48 Ali Express - the 28 day minimum postage might put a few people off though! X)

Much appreciated - there's usually one thing in the fruit/veg list that is worth the trek - in this week the British premium apples are the more uncommon varieties such as Cameo, (red and tangy - in between Gala and Braeburn). They will store well. Nx week will go for the spinach.
Are these the ones that are usually 3 for £3.50 or even newer than that?
They look like the same ones that Morrisons sell for £1.50 and Sainsburys sell for a way under £2. Or used to, I can't find the range on either website now. Maybe they've gone Tesco exclusive.
Very nice indeed, anyway.
These are the same ingredients used in Aldi's vegetable pizza.

There newer mate . taste great
errrr this is the normal price but thanks for telling everyone, now next time I go in there won't be any, except for that one that they found after a day in the drinks aisle and put back.
I went into Tesco and they didn't have these pizzas, no label up or anything so these can't be nationwide. They were sold out of the 3 for £4 vegetable ones too which was disappointing.

Wetherspoons can be romantic. Romance isn't about posh. Romance is for everyone.
Very romantic, NOT!!!
Cute.
It's a great offer but unless you have a partner who loves frugality, I think the phrase:

"I've booked us a special meal at Wetherspoons"

would hit the floor like their resident alcoholics on a Friday night, or indeed, like your relationship thereafter.

Tastes nothing like Marmite. Bought some once. Tried it and binned it. Similar to Morrison's own label, which I also binned. Not voted cold, because if you like Vegemite...

I used to prefer to squeezy bottle of marmite compared to the stuff in a jar. It was smoother tasting and less harsh.
Read my post above, if it tastes harsh you are using too much.
I was using the same quantity, the squeezy seemed to be a different formulation from the jar.
Never had a squeezy Vegemite, do they exist ? Never known of that, I only know of a Cheesy Vegemite variation which is awesome but its less potent so you eat more per serving.
The jar is potent so using the same amount as a prepacked usable squeezy is defo a nono.
Marmite I was referring to because other people were discussing it, not Vegemite.
Marmite is the poor mans Vegemite

People taking certain mental health drugs should avoid: MAOI antidepressant users note such as phenelzine (Nardil) or tranylcypromine (Parnate), yeast extracts interact negatively with these types of medications tyramine content.

Those just having a bad day can get a Marmite prescription from http://www.marmite.co.uk/coupon

Food ALLERGY sufferers should be aware:

Veg extract - can mainly include PEANUTS and SOYA
Spice extract - contains CELERY, the EU demanded that it be listed as an ingredient.

Glutamic Acid - this is natural, not MonoSodiumGlutamate, more info here: http://www.truthinlabeling.org/III.What%20is%20MSG.html

Plenty of tomatoes at my aldi - been buying a pack each time I pop in (from Morocco - the toms, not me!) in case the south med problems hit!

Thanks, I'll keep a look out for these- have been picking up packs of party food when I've seen them cheap. I'm liking them for the kids to have when they complain they're starving if they have to wait for their tea, better than a bag of crisps to keep them on for a while.

You're welcome! I may grab another box tomorrow ;)

I love how all these claims about nutrition are backed up by scientific evidence and not just based on hearsay and circumstantial evidence [/s]
The truth is, if it says "complete" on the packet, it legally must contain all the organic molecules, vitamins and trace elements needed for a dog to be healthy. The more expensive ones might have added oils, use more expensive protein sources or be more suitable for dogs with specific dietary requirements, but for most dogs, this is absolutely fine. And if you're still worried, just supplement it with some leftovers (being sensible and checking suitability first, obv)
I was thinking the same thing! I nearly commented back at one of the above comments which said they can be almost certain my dog will be deficient in nutrients because I don't buy £40 dog food but I was on my way to work n didn't have time to comment on it. Don't people give their dogs other stuff to eat too like fish and treats and salmon strips and chicken and cooked veg and so on and so on and so on. I know I do. Wagg may not be the greatest food but when used as a mixer with daily treats and additions to their diet what's wrong with that. Our vet thinks our dog is healthy and fine :-)
From the sounds of it, your dog eats better than I do, haha

Shopped for an hour to find things. Got to 60 quid, was happy. Entered code, didnt work, most wasnt desptched by amazon. Still did the order. You got me Amazon, you got me good. I'll go to sleep a defeated man, but tomorrow is another day oO
I use harringtons from Amazon for my lab which is made by Wagg. Harringtons scores 3.0/5 on allaboutdogfood. Wagg complete scores a pitiful 1.3/5.
3.0 out of 5 is actually excellent as many don't make it to 4 unless your spending crazy money. Haven't seen any really over 4

Easy Action Baby
I agree with jj these are quite hard once cooked and board-like.
We recently threw 2 boxes in the bin. Linda veggie sausages were much better when launched years ago or perhaps there are more and better veggie options now.
E.g. The quorn ones are better.
Just my opinion and keep eating them if you enjoy.

If you microwave them for a couple of mins before grilling they are much better
*Sigh* I knew there would be meat eaters trying to be "funny" here, it happens every time a veggie deal is posted. Don't know why, I don't go to the meat deals and whine that "Turkey's too dry and tastes like cardboard!". (_;)
Yet some veggie idiot above though posted 'cancer causing pork'.

As a meat eater I take exception to that too. Everyone to their own. It's really funny that since so called 'healthy eating' came in and everyone (well, idiots) began to have a fear of the word 'fat', and eat lots of **** ready meals and so called healthy crap (which isn't healthy at all) that this nation has simply got more obese by the minute.

If you don't like meat, that is fair enough.

It's the dicks who say they like meat but cut off the fat. Idiots, in the 60s and 70s and even 80s nobody did that. We also drank full cream milk, not rubbish like skimmed, we ate butter (not Flora crap or other spreads full of ****) and plenty of red meat (yet we were all like beanstalks). Thankfully, some are now waking up and realising fat is not bad for you, in fact it's the opposite. I'm just going to have a lovely steak... more nutrients in are in just one steak than in a host of other stuff combined that can be put on your plate. Anything in moderation is good for you, but miss out on the vital nutrients the body needs and see if you are still here in many years to come. Well, you won't will you? Await in years to come the brainwashing the other way, we are all dying younger! LOL

As for the taste, I don't think any veggie product tastes like meat. If they did I'd stop eating them as that's one of the reasons I don't eat meat, it's foul taste! Veggie sausages taste like veggie sausages. Veggie "chicken" doesn't taste like chicken it tastes like veggie "chicken"! I specifically avoid Quorn's veggie bacon because I've been told it does have a similar taste and I loathe bacon, always have.
And they don't go dry if you cook them properly! But the same could be said for all food.
Thanks though OP for the info!

Probably because of the plethora of vegetarians that go on 'meat product' postings and witter on about meat being murder, etc, etc, etc and other such ****.
As for meat tasting foul, I thought that was chicken that tasted fowl..........he, he, he, did you see what I did there, ha, ha, ha................

I`m not a vegetarian, but I use these for sausages & mash occasionally as a healthier lower fat choice.
My children like them too.
Tesco also do a nice own brand Cumberland style veggie sausage which are quite tasty.
The trick is to not over cook them otherwise they do dry out.
Heat added :)

Picked up 2 bottles this morning and we've had a healthy start at the office! Heat added. Tastes more of apple juice than anything, disguises the spinach, kale and crushed courgette well!
Also noticed 4 small bottles of Bottle Green Indian Tonic Water for 49p. Can't find anywhere else selling it to compare to. Tonic with Elderflower version is £2.99 only in Ocado.
