Hi, the link shows £1 trial but nothing about £1 on wednesdays in store for nationwide customers, please help.

There seems be a maximum retail value of £4.50 on the voucher, so you won't be able to rent Blu-rays in some stores.

Doesn't seem to be any conditions as to how many you can use at once though, will be giving this a go next Wednesday, thanks ;)

8) Looks good to me. Nice one.

Looks nice.
#5
Personally i'd get a big bag of minstrels etc and get the free movie rental any day, better value i think
#6
I don't see anything about a £4.25 limit, however it says the duration of rental is two nights. As such, I'd guess games aren't included as they're a week's rental usually. It would be nice to get confirmation one way or another though.
#7
The sweets deal was ok but reading the terms and conditions it was limited to one rental a week and only for one night. Not worth the trip to a non local store for me, this is better for two nights and no rental limits

the Mars offer gives you two nights rental, well it has done for me anyway, I've used 5 of them to date.

thanks for posting the deal

Have blockbuster not shut down yet? All the stores I've seen seem to be closing down. The last time I checked their share price, it was about 5p a share. I don't even think they are on the stock exchange anymore actually....

games are 7 nights rental but if you use the t-mobile deal you only get the game for 2 nights so this will work the same i asume
#16
Another good alternative. Cheers.
#17
Used to work for BB even then I was surprised at just how many people used the service. I think personally it's an outdated concept, but there are always people who are unwilling to go along with change and like the going back and forward and looking through the store. Prices are too high if they had put prices lower they would have rented more out and not pushed people in to looking for alternatives. I could never understand why people paid almost half the price of a DVD just to rent it.

BB make a lot of money on the fines and this is just a cheap marketing trick to new customers.

No you don't (with the T-Mobile offer), I get the game for a week every time I use the Night In offer.

Thanx for the deal vns.
I can't understand why people don't get the conditions of use when it is right there in front of them. Why do they have to have it spelt out to them like 2 or 3 times?
Well done for your patience.

The voucher doesn't state an expiration date.

Anyone have any ideas - perhaps someone who works for Blockbuster.

Just used the voucher today on a game and it's a WEEK rental not two days.
#28
Just been to my local Blockbusters and tried to rent a game using this code. The lady behind the counter said it could only be used on movies so I rented out a blu-ray instead. A little bit disappointing but it's still good value if you want films.
#29
Rented a new release movie last night with the voucher.

The staff hadn't seen one before and commented, to themselves, it would have been nice if head office had notified them of this voucher being in circulation.
#30
I used one last night but they would not let me use more than one.

I think all game rentals are for a week, but the voucher does say 2 days.

I went to another Blockbuster and they only gave me 2 days and when I went to return it 1 day late I asked about the late fee and the other guy said there was no late fee as all games are 1 week rentals, BUT the voucher does state 2 days.

So in conclusion if they do give you only 2 days just keep it for around 6 days and it should still be fine.
#33
Still working. :D
#34
Yup, third week running.
#35
My BB wont let me use it on games, they must have saw the word movie on it and not the t&c. I'll give it another go later and show that it doesn't say i cant get a game but i guess watching oldboy for £1 is ok.
#36
Excellent deal. Just managed to get Prison Break box set for five days for £1.
