I think they are referring to an earlier thread. You go to http://www.breakfreeholidays.co.uk/local & enter 9 codes -
holiday
caravan
beach
autumn
suncream
bucket
sand
swim
spade

then pick any paper from the dropdown list (hence the Croydon ref)
If you book the holiday remember to add service charges but linen & entertainment passes can be declined making it a cheap holiday.

what is the service charge per unit per night for? That seems to add quite a bit extra (although still cheap)

I think someone guessed the last one when I did it & then when it was published the next day it was different but worked anyway.
#13
Looks a good deal! might go for a small break hot deal
#14
nice post

was going to do a week over the summer holidays this year instead of lots of weekends like I normally do, but this has swayed me to book 3 weekends, the kids don't have long enough to get bored and it's cheaper.
#16
Good deal. Shame their are none in Scotland but we could always travel to north England but not really sure if it's worth it for a w/end.
#17
thanks for this - just booked a caravan for 8 in Newquay, Cornwall - £49!
#18
Are the entertainment fees extra?
#19

Yes there is a list of fees here:

http://www.breakfreeholidays.co.uk/northcharges

you pay:
£2 booking fee
a service charge per unit per night
for your entertainment passes

these holidays still work out very good deals though!

using the codes given I am getting the message "Please enter 9 valid and unique passwords. (8/9)", also tried choosing different newspapers, including the crydon. does anybody knows what can be the problem.

yeah we went last year ! the boyfriend loved it had a fishing lake ! not near much so u need a car but there is a train outside not sure if that takes u to the beach as its a walk ! there a big tesco about 5 min drive and a good cheap outlet centre which is worth going to! i book the haven in clacton as that has a lake to and is near the beach !

Great deal, book 4 nights in North Wales for £42, received letter from Haven for outstanding amount of £62, as only a family of 3 took 1 entertainment pass off and asked for linen to be removed (rather take my own) got it down to £42.50. Total £84.50 for a 4 night stay!! Thanks Kerry4dean x :-D

It may not be such a good deal for some locations! After booking my stay at Perranporth last night I went direct to the Haven website out of curiosity. I searched the same dates etc just to see how much I had saved (!!!) and saw that for just an extra couple of pounds I could have had far superior accomodation and also cashback if I had book directly through Haven! Would have been cheaper to book my holiday direct and could have stayed in far better accomodation than the caravan I've booked. Gutted....! Lesson learnt!

AFTER STAYING AT CAYTON BAY PARK RESORTS AND MY KIDS GETTING VERY VERY ILL FROM THEIR FILTHY PARK AND FOOD POISONING FROM THEIR REVOLTING RESTAURANT AND HAVING TO FIGHT FOR A REFUND AND THEN WAIT MONTHS FOR IT, I'LL GIVE THIS A MISS TA!
Did stay at Havens cala gran last year too and that was fab :)
AVOID PARK RESORTS LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

I booked for our family of 6 thinking that £62 was really reasonable for a half term break.. However be warned that when the invoice comes in they charge you for entertainment passes, linen pack, service charge and then it comes in at £100+. I didnt know this and got a shock when it arrived.

Maybe you should read the clearly listed terms before you book in future:thumbsup:

Stayed at a park holidays UK for the first and last time this weekend! I know they vary from park to park, but I've been put off for life!
#39
Brilliant, im glad this is back again, we booked one last time through this website. As this is unexpired again now I think you need to put in a bit of information about how the bookings for the summer holidays opens again on Friday May 7th and will anybody be collecting the code words for us again?
#40
Still should be expired the hols are £15 unless im missing something ?
