This is a very god deal if you think about it we are in a very easy group and I see us reach the semi's at least so there's nothing to lose guys.

Providing customers meet the registration deadline, at the end of the world cup they will receive a cheque (or a currys gift card if they prefer) for £10 * every goal england scores during the tournament . This means if England scores 10 goals the customer is entitled to £100. Further more there is no maximum payout guys!!!

Good idea, if you are looking for a TV - could end up with quite a good discount (love the fact that you could get a gift card instead of a cheque - wonder how many will go for that!!)

Nice!, What... if they will be a Champions and will score 20 goals?
#3
I can't find any information on this

So a total saving of £20 then? lol

Well lets have a look at the fixtures and the could be score:

England Vs USA
Score at least = 2

England Vs Algeria
Score at least = 2 maybe more

England Vs Slovenia
Score at least = 2 maybe more

Then if they win their group which they should our next fixture could be:

England Vs Germany
Score at least = 2 (hopefully)

OR

England Vs Australia
Score at least = 2

So thats at least 8 goals and that just the group stage and following match. I am probably being too optimistic though. :p

Would be funny if England scored 5 goals each game though...HALF PRICE TV! :)

I have just looked on the website, and couldn't find anything either. I guess you could just go into your local Currys and ask about it? :)

Good post with regards to the Algeria and Slovenia games I see us scoring quite a few to be honest, mind you the game against america could be tricky, as could potential games with either the aussies or germans

You can guarantee yourself £103 off the price regardless of the number of goals England score, by betting on the England Tournament Team Goals market at BetHiLo.

The spread is 10.3 - 11 goals, so sell (ie go lower) at £10 per point. Then if England score 5 goals, for example, you'll receive £50 from currys, and £57 from BetHiLo. If England score 15 goals, you'll receive £150 from currys, but lose £47 at BeHiLo.

Further, you can get £20 cashback through Quidco, after placing 5 bets risking at least £1.

You must register your purchase within 3 days (the first day being the day of purchase) to be eligible for this offer.
Does not include own-goals or penalty shootouts.

You register your purchase on some part of the Currys website I think, I should've brought a leaflet home from work.

I’m not sure if anyone else has encountered this but I purchased a TV last night online, used my order number to register, explicitly chose CHEQUE as my payment method however my registration certificate was displayed and printed as GIFTCARD. There wasn’t a default, I had to manually select CHEQUE, so it’s definitely an error in the system - albeit one which is in the favour of currys !

I have called them this morning and have been told that there isn’t a system error and I must have chosen GIFTCARD, and this can now not be changed (surprisingly hey!) im waiting for a call back from the manager.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I dont understand this, can you explain it a bit more? So you bet £10 against England scoring less than 10.3 goals is that right? And then just place 4 other bets of at least £1 each to qualify for Quidco?

Thanks

Also, whats the most you could lose then, Currys obviuosly keeps going up £10, does the loss get beyond the win from Currys at any point?

As at 19th June the only winner so far is Currys, they made a killing with every TV sold during this advertising campaign and this must be the worst Hot deals advice ever given.:-(:x:-(
