What are the terms and conditions attached with this?

I had to use Enterprise a few weeks ago, and they wanted to charge £35 for the day, to which I had no real problem. When I returned the car, they asked whether I was completely satisfied with their service. I said that I was neither unsatisfied cor completley satisfied. The chap asked me why, and I said that the car was different and smaller than what was originally suggested.

The chap said what would it take to completely satisfy me (!) - I asked what he meant. He said would £5 discount change my mind. I said £5 would be nice, but a tenner would be better.

So he knocked off a tenner. Was it a bribe? Certainly.

Think twice before you believe all the flattering comments in a company's customer review book.

This is so true - on a recent trip to Eire I walked between the 5 car rental desks and managed to negotiate a great daily rate.
