Am i right in thinking that if you say buy £50 worth of BOGOF's it will come to £15 using the voucher , is that how it works on Tesco
#11
wouldnt let me add :-(
#12
If that excludes delivery then yeah because they always deduct the voucher first, then the b.o.g.o.f on delivery day
#13
its hit and miss whether they will honour the code though if the spend comes to less than £50 after the bogofs ... it is always accpeted when ordering but there is a chance that it will not be honoured upon delivery..

Hello
This is my first ever comment but thought I should mention that on my last Tesco delivery they wuld not accept my £10 off a shop and when I rang their customer services said it was because the code was "Illegal". When I asked what she meant she said valid codes started with an XX and were six digits long. She said they have had a lot of orders with codes such as 4VRRTWW97G9B which someone has Illegally made up.

Mmmm!!!:?
#16
the why does their system accept them if official codes start with xx.... it's their own silly fault!!!
#17
Their system allows it to go through so you were just fobbed of by some trainee
#18
I know I agree, you would think a comany so big would have a system that rejects invalid codes.
I just wanted everyone to be aware of what I was told and you can make your own mind up as to what codes you are happy to use.
It just sounded to me like they had been told to watch out about these codes because she kept putting me on hold like she was speaking to someone else about it.
I may be reading too much into it but i didn't want anyone getting into trouble.
#19
It did accept the code when the order was processed but rejected it when my bill came with the driver
#20
i had the same problem, system accepted £10 voucher code, but when bill came with driver it was gone, emailed tesco and they wanted proof where i got code from....................
#21
Not sure if any of you have noticed, that when you enter a short code, once its accepted, it shows up as the full one.

And if a code is illegal, why havent they blocked it from being used again and again.

PS - I was browsing some tesco discount code websites and came across a load that hadent been posted.

:?

If they ask where your getting the codes from, just say i got it off a receit or something.
#22
Was wondering, as this code doesn't commmence with XX could you possibly use the 500 points voucher in conjunction with this one as Tesco don't allow 2 XX codes to be used in one transaction.

So seeming as this doesn't have XX at start it should be possible to use with another code starting with XX?

Think I've confused myself:oops:
#23
I'll check that out now for ya.

#24
Nope, just tryed and it wasent allowed.

Can only use one of the vouchers.

I already had the code 4VRRTWW97G9B in my basket from when I entered an XX code a few days ago. I think the code I used was XX4VRR. So the 2 codes must be the same.
#26
Yep, those codes are the same. So you must be able to just add XX to the front of a code and it wont be classed as illegal?
#27
Thanks for checking.

Damn it, i'm gonna have to make one of those illegal one's now:) .

Counterfeit Tesco vouchers are the way forward:thumbsup:
#28
Lmao, your welcome.

---

You Must Be Able To Get One Of Those Long Codes, Add XX On The Front And Use The First 4 Characters From The Long Code As One Short Code. Like This:

Long Code: 4VRRTWW97G9B

Put In XX Then The First 4 Characters Of The Long Code, Which Would Make This:

XX4VRR

Then, I'm Guessing, The Short Code Would Be More Likely To Be Accepted On The Receit. As It Has XX First. Which Means It Wouldent Be Classed As An Illegal Code.

hi all,

i used this code already. minimum order is only £30.01.

order delivered earlier (3 boxes of promo lager with 39p danish loaf, paid only £16.38). so guaranteed worked ok for minimum spend.

#31
the codes didn't work for us. when the driver dropped off the shopping it said the code could not be accepted as it had already been used
#32
minimum order is £30.01, just used it too
#33
Another great Tesco code - heat and rep!
#34
£10 off £30 ... works great !!
#35
Isn't this code the one listed in the big thread of tesco codes of £10 off £30 for a whole month. :?
