SORRY , JUST READ YOUR POST PROPERLY , I'VE SEEN EXPIRE DATE.:whistling:

How do you bank the voucher? I have a grocery order waiting to be delivered and can't find anywhere to put it! I know I probably won't be able to apply it to an existing order, but how do I bank it for later?
#8
you can't put code in if you've already ordered, to bank - do a dummy shop then put the code in, don't go through check-out, then later when your doing a proper shop the code will be there to use as you please. hope this helps.

Thanks very much ruth1971.

Groceries - I am sure i put that in the title oroginally , maybe a mod changed it :?, or more likely i forgot to hit submit on changes!

Great, was about to order today, just done it :)
#12
Does banking the voucher mean you can use it after it's expiry date as long as you actually bank it before the date?
#13
just banked, great, thanks op:thumbsup:
#14
just tried it and it worked, but if someone can answer my question (above), it'd be appreciated!

no I am pretty sure that you can't use it after the expiry date, banking the voucher asap just ensures that you get it onto your account before tesco.com can say that it has been used a maximum number of times!

Thanks Darknoiz, voted hot hot hot!!!

Ta Catrine - I've given you some rep.

just tried it and it seemed to work even without spending 50 pounds, I think I had 38 pounds ready to checkout before delivery charges.

Hi, I discovered the other day that this works on a £25 spend. I have placed 3 orders for £25, (all bogof). Totalling approx £77, Total to pay approx £22 (dependant on all items being in stock) including del. I have had my first del couple of items out of stock, total spend, before taking bogof off, £20. They still took the £10 off:-D Hope the same happens on my other 2 orders if things are out of stock.
#23
I've just placed lots of bogof items in my basket - coupon accepted - but it's asking me to confirm my order without the bogof taken off??
Is this correct??

Yes, that's fine saintscouple....

This excludes savings from multi-save offers. Don't worry, they'll be taken off your final bill from your driver.

Looks like it is min £30 spend too!!

Many thanks for your clarification guys

Just used it on a £25 spend - also verified on MSE.
I used all bogof items thus my spend should be something like this
Basket total (excluding bogof) £25.10
Delivery £4.49
Total £29.59
Less voucher -(£10)
Less bogof -(£12.55)
Total discounts -(22.55)

Total to pay £29.59 - £22.55 = £7.04

I think that's right - But here's a hint - I've ticked all my products as no substituation if its out of stock - that way if i am short delivered i would have saved even more :-D

I was under the impression that the discount would only be applied if the checkout total exceeds £25 which yours won't. I stand to be corrected though.....

thanks. Just read how to bank too.

I've gone by what the guys from MSE state - Plus the same system applies to Asda codes.
My delivery is Tuesday, i'll report back if it worked or not.

I've never bought Groceries online and went to make an order. Just a couple quick questions. If I do a "buy 1 get 1 free" do I need to add 2 of them to my basket for the offer? If I only order 1 will they still pick me the extra one free instore when they collect? Thanks

Yes, you have to enter a quantity of 2 to qualify for bogof, if you just add 1 that's all you'll get.
#33
Thanks for the help :).
#34
Oh ye what about mixing and matching on bogofs? For example: Pringle dip £1.38 but theres 3 different flavours. Can I add 2 different ones or can I only choose the same? Thanks

Yep, you can choose different varities along as they're advertised on the same offer i.e in my order i chose 1 normal chocolate fingers, and 1 mint variety on bogof.

The way it works is that the checkout total does not take multibuy savings into account. Therefore, taking an example of a current BOGOF offer, if you buy 4 x 6 bottles of Grolsch, the checkout will show a total of £27.76 + the delivery charge. You can therefore use the £10 off code, as your checkout total is more than £25. However, the delivery note will include the BOGOF deduction, meaning that you will actually be charged £3.88 + delivery. I can 100% guarantee this is correct, as I have made use of this loophole a number of times in recent weeks.

I wondered about this when I realised that the initial bill was only estimated, but I decided not to risk it with my first order. Anyway it's good to know for future reference. Thanks:thumbsup:

Thanks. I just ordered £25 of BOGOF offers. Total order £25.10 less voucher £10 and add £3.99 delivery = (£25.10 / 2) - £10 + £3.99 = total £6.54 for £25.10 of goods delivered. BRILLIANT!

Might do another order tomorrow :giggle:
