Simply click htrough the link and the discount will be automatically activated. Thanks to Milton for the pointer.

10% discount on every purchase!

Your 10% discount will automatically be applied to your basket.
You've done your research and know that bad memory can cause anything from annoying error messages to complete system failures. Why risk it with cheap "mystery" memory? When you buy a memory upgrade from Crucial, you’re buying from Micron, a major DRAM and flash manufacturer that provides top-notch memory to the world's leading computer manufacturers. Plus, as an online memory upgrade provider selling directly from the manufacturer, Crucial memory is often available at lower prices than lower-quality modules!
[LIST]Crucial offers:
[*]Direct-from-the manufacturer quality
[*]More than 110,000 upgrades for over 20,000 systems
[*]Guaranteed compatibility with our Memory Advisor tool (or your money back!)
[*]Free limited lifetime warranty
[*]Free technical support
[*]Free shipping ([COLOR=#0000ff]See details[/COLOR])[/LIST]

In like Flynn ;) Glad I didn't buy the stick I was going too two days ago. For once I"ve got good timing ;)

LOL ^^^ It's funny that admin buys so many of the hot deals too !!
[admin]#6
Hmmm has anyone been able to get this to work? I've gone through up to stage 3 Payment/Shipping and no discount is showing on my summary.

Why do you think I started this site two years ago ;)
#7
I'm trying to test it now admin, but the site seems really slow.
[admin]#8
Yeah it's brutal slow right now.

I just got it to work by using an another url they mention in the T&C's at the bottom: crucial.com/mailonsunday

is there a voucher code i can use so i can go through quidco?

It's a link deal, so first of all go through quidco to crucial. Then paste the ending in fter we end of the web address if you know what I mean:

crucial.com/mailonsunday

I think that will work. :)
#11
I *think* it's only coming up as the 5% discount for me. Here is a test basket:

Did you get the full 10% admin?
[admin]#12
Hmmm not sure, I'm still waiting for the next page to load!!

Edit: Yep. 10% off on some DDR2 PC2700.

When does it expire?

When does it expire?
I'm sorry, I don't know Ravster, but there is this:
Crucial reserves the right to cancel or change this offer at any time without notice

Excellent deal and the best memory around. Now's the time to make use of this if you want to increase your computer's RAM :)

Thanks for the find Emma ;-)

Nice deal, voted+

This is the first time I've used hotukdeals and I've already saved myself 10% and hopefully another 7% if quidco get the commission.

Thanks!!

[mod]#19
Welcome to hotukdeals dragontung:thumbsup:

Well it may be very slow but at least the sites working tonight, selection was stalling altogether at stage 3 last night!

Grab it while its hot :)
#20
Welcome to HotUKDeals dragontung and fishleg :) If it doesn't work at first, keep on trying, as they must be experiencing a lot of traffic due to this deal. Normally they offer 5% and 7% QuidCo, so this is worth going for!

I don't want to be a party pooper here, just a word of warning about ordering their USB sticks.

Overall I think myself and my family have had around 6 from Crucial, in varying sizes, and each one has died, within 3 months or so, taking all the work saved on them with it. They just got extremely hot and made a funny electrical burning smell when plugged in....and then kaput. This was only from light use as well, the sticks were never in the port for more than 5/10 minutes a time.
[admin]#22
AlphabetSprout - Have you tried any other USB sticks on this port? I would guess the problem may be with the port and not the sticks... it sounds like some kind of incorrect voltage coming through the port or something.
#23
Maybe, but it happened on my old & current PC. They were always plugged into the powered USB ports, i.e. not a hub, so they may have been getting a little too much juice. I never had any problems with other brand sticks though, now I'm puzzled......
[admin]#24
hmmm yeah it's odd. I've never used a Crucial USB stick but I would suppose they would be good quality like their ram. Did you bring this up with Crucial? They have quite good customer support.
#25
Good find. Like Crucial/Micron Memory. Excellent level of customer service as well.

Voted hot.
#26
Thanks for the hot votes everyone. I agree, their customer service is second to none. AlphabetSprout, you should definitely contact them about the problem.
#27
Good find emma....all those planning a vista upgrade can now get a memory upgrade(if required) at a reduced price
#28
is the discounted price for 2x1gb (for macbook/notebooks) around £185 after discount?
[admin]#29
It should show the discount clearly poopscoop. If it is just a price and no discount showing it means it is not applied.

I must have bought about 50 memory items from Crucial. I've probably returned about 10% (faulty DRAM and Flash cards) - so high failure rate, but excellent customer service and no quibble ever, even when items are years old.

Looks like a great deal but I can't seem to get it to work. I got through to the third stage (which is were they were asking for Credit Card details) but no discount was showing. I tried it three times but unfortunately it didn't work. Does anyone know how to work this discount?......when I click on the voucher I see the discount page of 10% of Crucial but I never see the discount again.

I had that same problem with the /sundaytimes link but then I used the /mailonsunday instead and it worked ok.
#33
Yeah, just tested it with the mail on sunday link, and it's still working fine. You should see red letters in your basket showing the discount, which will be exactly 10% of the value of the items.
#34
I'm looking for some memory for my Macbook (DDR2 PC5300) and find it's cheaper elsewhere.
#35
Guess this has expired. I've tried a few times on different items and cant get any discount to show :(

ANybody got a current code? I have a voucher code for like 4% or something, but seem to remember last time I did crucial with a voucher code the quidco was denied... doh.

Just placed an order with Crucial (got fed up waiting for my Amazon memory order).

Couldn't get any of the above links or codes to work with Quidco, but here's a checkout voucher code that does: CUSTOMPC

Afraid it's only a measly 4%, but it's better than nothing!

SirHugo
