Great! Im an exsisting customer & have just used the codes. Thanks!
#6
Has anyone used this who isn't an exsisting customer?

I am an existing customer, but haven't ordered anything for a while and so they don't send me any stuff in the post anymore, and I don't know my account number!

So just wondered if it worked as a new customer, and I can just pay by card?
#7
Im an existing customer, and lost my account number, I emailed them and they sent me my information I needed
#8
It works. Just ordered twice and both gift codes were accepted with £10 discount in each.
Cheers.
#9
Why does this always happen ? I went to their site and liked two jumpers neither of them are in the stock.

Dear MRS XXXXXXXX

I am sorry that we are unable to process your order at the moment, as the order
code (4000) you have selected has already been used the maximum number of times
allowed, as detailed in the terms of the promotion.

If you have another order code valid against a current offer which has been sent
to you in the post or by e-mail, you may place your order using this new order
code. Alternatively, your order can be placed without an order code, which will
simply mean that no special offer will be included.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Don't forget you can check your
order, arrange a collection, make a payment and much more online with 'My
Account'.

Kind regards,

Dont really understand why they ask for a customer id when you make a new account - the whole point of making an account is that you dont have one! In the end I didnt make an account, just paid

badwolf,
four? Where does it say that? In terms and conditions it says only once! :?
#21
At what point do you enter the coupon code? I am right up to the enter card details stage and I still don't see it yet...

Starlet, after you enter card details you will see where to put it.
Click on pay with this card after entering details
#23
Got it, thanks.
#24
Just placed my order - code was accepted during the shopping process. Let's wait and see how much they will actually charge me!
#25
I made an order the 6th. Although they've confirmed the order, (and begun sending promo emails), I've not recieved the order, or had confirmation of the order going through. Nor have I had a cancellation message.
#26
Still working - thanks very much for this one!
#27
2 pairs of funky pedal pushers for working out in arrived today, paid £1.60.

Thanks OP :)
#28
I've had a pair of pjs and a luggage set for £0 - has been received
#29
I made an order for a David Beckham Footie (normally £9) for £0 after using the 4000 code but I then got a confirmation email stating that postage was free but I would be charged £9. I am now in the process of trying to cancel the order. Can they still take the money out of a debit card when I did not authorise a payment of £9?.

Ordered a hat & belt for 0 after using the £10 off code. Used the free towels code which was accepted by the website, but when my order came, no towels :(

I got a free blank birthday card, though!?
#31
Do you know what the amount was that showed on your confirmation email? and what was the total original value of the hat and Belt

£9.97 total I think, showed as zero on my email and on the paper statement. I paid £3.50 odd for postage. It took 3 flipping weeks to reach me, the products are very cheaply made, and no free towels :( Don't think I'll be using la redoute again, Empire stores are just as bad (same company) but at least the p&p is free.
#33
Well I got a new coat (which I actually needed!) for only £16, which my mum paid for as well, so technically free! Its a very nice coat as well, was about £50 I think, but was in the sale, then got £10 off as well!

I've also ordered some trousers and the free towels, in my own name, I've had the dispatch email, so I expect those early this week.

I agree La redoute isn't the greatest quality of clothes ever, but it is quite cheap, and so you don't mind if things don't last too long. I've had quite a few things from them in the past and haven't really had any problems with the items, except for the sizing being a bit strange, I find it comes out quite big on me.

yea, i got same problem. isn't it stupid to ask for the customer number rather than just put your email address to login??

and i hope i can get the free towel as well...

The towels are total rubbish - got mine Friday, all different puke enducing colours too.
Never seen such thin & small towels.
Bath towel? PMSL - maybe for a baby? but the baby certainly woudn't feel warm wrapped in this. The face towels were actually bath mits.
Paid £3.45 for these (didn't get free postage) & the items I ordered were also very bad quality so although they were free it really wasn't worth it.
#36
After ringing and emailing to cancel my order I just received two emails stating that two of my items were being dispatched and that I have been charged £12.95. This has completely confused me as none of my orders seem to combine to that total. I will have to ring them today to find out whats makes up the charge (thats another 10p a minute wasted).

Unfortunately I have to agree with the majority on here.

The quality of the clothes is absolutely awful.

I told two other friends about this offer who both odered from the site. One ordered a hooded top which has been given straight to a charity shop as it looked awful, fitted badly and did not compare well to the photo on the site. Another friend ordered a shirt that was made very badly and incorrectly cut so the neckline was halfway down his chest.

I thought I was playing it safe by ordering boxers shorts. I ordered what appeared in the photos on the website to be 'normal looking' boxer shorts in small. Well I don't know what there idea of small is but I'm size 30 waist and I think I'd have room for someone else as well (could be interesting :giggle: ). Also they are not only large in the waist but they are massive in length too. I didn't expect knee length boxer shorts!

The towels like everyone else has said are very poor quality and very thin. I can't imagine anyone wanting to 'pay' for these!

The amount of advertising and extra leaflets shoved into the delivery as well just goes to back up the fact that they need the business. I had numerous vouchers for free gifts, money off and free delivery off my next order.

So whilst these money off offers seem good they are fairly worthless if the products are cr*p! I paid £4 and something or other for boxer shorts that aren't even fashionable for my Dad to wear and it's not even worth considering to wear them for fear of being involved in a car accident and them refusing to treat me on grounds of making brown Y fronts with yellow trim look good !

I think the best advice if you want to benefit from the money off is to buy a branded product, ie adidas, nike, etc... and then at least you know you are not going to be buying the naff quality, badly fitting other brands that la redoute are using.

And so ends my review of la redoute (does that rhyme?)

Here's my rant - couldn't agree more with everyone who thinks towels are poor quality but hey they are free. However I'm VERY disappointed with the quality of the jumper I received, it isn't even worth £2.50 which I paid for it. Looks like second hand quality, I don't think I'll be wearing it!

By the way none of laredoute's clothes seem to have tags on them. I won't be surprised if they are selling customer returned items or factory seconds. Anybody else got that feeling or know if there's any truth in this?

Overall I think my order was a waste of time, effort and £2.50 (though a small amount It'd rather be in my pocket then theirs!).

i used a few of these codes last year, cutting a very long story short I got some very threatening letters saying that I had abused the company by using the codes and my account was shut down and 'we will be watching your address'.So be warned dont over use it!
worst thing is I was in credit by £7.15 and I cant do anything with it now!

Oh well another moan today(see "office" post) well an order was placed online on the 11th(paying by card) confirmation email received.Thought Id ring up and see if delivery address could be changed as I would probably be at work when they deliver. As i wasn't an existing customer the order wasn't showing up on their system so I replaced the order and set up an account there and then.I was given my customer account number and was told I could register for the online account fasilities.I tried to register but it kept showing my details were wrong. After another phone call I was told I shouldn't have been given any account number as my order/accound hadn't been approved????????????????? I know all about credit checks etc before they set up accounts but I was paying the full amount by card.
