You can even make calls over the internet without your computer switched on by using one of our "computer off" products.

Order your Tesco internet phone at www.tescointernetphone.com or buy in-store

HOW THE OFFER WORKS
To collect 1,000 Clubbcard Points, register your new internet phone or headset before 30th September 2007 using the code ACC667 and make a £10 top-up at the same time."

New internet phone customers only, points will be added to November statement.

I am not sure if this will get hot as it is not the cheapest way of making calls, but it may be useful for avid Clubcard Points collectors. You get to choose your new free geographical phone number, and they have prefix codes for all of the UK. That may be handy for some.

I am not sure if you can get the points without buying the phone, i.e. just register as a new customer and top up with £10. I have had contradictory comments when I phoned Tesco Clubcard and Tesco Internet phones. Tesco Clubcard said no though.

** EVEN BETTER ** Combine this deal with: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deal/29306/tesco-internet-phone-half-price-onl (two £14.97 internet phones for the price of one, each with £5 of call credit, but ends 26 August) and you can get 1000 x 2 = 2000 clubcard points when you register each phone on a different clubcard account. Total outlay £34.97, total credits in airtime and clubcard deals, £115. More info in comments.

sorry, maths error! for £115, read £110

The internet phone in this link is now half price at £4.98, meaning you only ned to pay £14.98 to get your 1000 clubcard points (worth £40 in deals). For that money you also get a total of £12.50 airtime thrown in (£2.50 on the phone and £10 when you do the obligatory top up).

Sounds good, I assume just a different clubcard needed for each registration?

It is possible to register for an account and reserve a phone number at https://www.tescointernetphone.com/register/

After you enter your details and clubcard number, you go to the next page to select your phone number. You are then asked for:
Registration Code
If you have a Registration code, please enter this in the box below (ACC667)

Voucher Card
If you have a voucher or a validation card please scratch off the silver panel to reveal your unique code and enter it in the box below. If you do not have either of these, just leave the box blank.
Tesco Internet phones, who don't know much about clubcard points, say the voucher is an airtime voucher that you get with the phone, and you should get the points without it.

Tesco Clubcard, who don't know much about the phones, say you have to buy the phone to get the points.

Once you have registered you can download the Tesco software and use it with your own headset. Alternatively, I have a Voice over IP router, so that may work too.

I suppose the $64,000 question is, do all phones get sold with a voucher? If not, how do Tesco Clubcard know whether you have bought a phone or not?

--- update ---

OK, I found this page with all the instruction leaflets. If you read them, you will see that each phones come with some sort of a card, this can either be a £2.50 top up, which you get with the headset, or a £5 top up with more expensive phones, or just a validation card. So I guess you do have to buy a phone after all. Well, at least the cheapest one comes with a £2.50 top-up.

This other Hot Deal is still on until 26 August!! Combine the two and you get a brilliant deal! Top it off with a tesco direct offer such as extra points or free delivery, and you have a great recipie! Here's how it goes...

Step one, buy two E337 £14.97 internet phones for the price of 1, they come with 2 x £5 airtime each. So you only pay about £2.49 for each phone.

Step two, register each one to a different clubcard account top and top up each one up with a tenner as per this offer.

Reward: 2000 clubcard points worth £80 in deals, plus £30 Tesco call credits, total max gain £110 in credit plus two USB phones, total outlay just £34.97. Not bad eh??! (but E337 currently out of stock online)

Even if you just sold the 2 x £10 clubcard vouchers on ebay, that would get you at least £40 return for an outlay of £34.97, and you would be left with the phones and the call credits.

I suppose a different Clubcard number, but not ones that are linked to the same Clubcard account.

In the past I have phoned up and had the points added, but first I need to go to my local Tesco store to see if all the Internet phones come with a voucher, or just some.

I think these can be bought from Tesco Grocery and therefore get 1000 extra points if spending over £50?

EDIT - Forget that, I don't think you can!

If you buy online through Tesco Direct though, you will probably find other offers such as Clubcard points bonus, discount, free delivery, Quidco etc

The BOGOF phone is out of stock, but got the £9.97 one and used a £5 off voucher and hopefully will get some quidco, clubcard points and did free delivery in store.

I bought two of these from Tesco Direct, but they are now down to half price.:w00t: Can I return them to a store for a refund, and them buy them again at the cheaper price?

If I do, will I have to repay any of the £10 discount I got for oprdering more than £50??
