Thanks for posting.

Not sure if its a good deal or not, A lot of the new cars have extra warranty/price knocked off, Its nothing extraordinary.

If you use something like http://www.moneysupermarket.com/motoring/

It finds the best cashback deals etc.

If it said £1000 FOR a Fiat Grande Punto then I might be interested, or maybe not..............................!

Get even more off by going to places like " motorpoint" but be careful as some don't offer the full 3 yr warranty.

Most new cars have the 3 year warranty under EU Regulations, whatever Motorpoint may tell you.

Watch out for the add ons at places like Motorpoint, they even charge for a pre-delivery inspection.

If anyone really must have a Fiat, probably better off going to main dealers, they will knock off more than a grand to get rid of them.

Welcome from me too lorielan, thanks for sharing :-D

Most new cars actually only have a 1 or 2 year manufacturers warranty under the EU directive. 2 years is more common. Basically whatever cover the manufacturer gives in one country must be honoured in another country.

The third year warranty of most cars is a dealer warranty and therefore is not provided.

I'd rather die than buy that car, good find though.

It is a good car overall but then again there are very few truly bad cars on the market.

IMHO Fiat have spent all their budget on styling the front of the car and not the rear.

With the so-so dealers and below market resale values I'd consider £1k as the bare minimum starting discount.

Learning to drive in one of these....well sitting my test in it on Thursday.

Would never buy one of them. Even if the price was a grand

They don't have to buy them with their own money, and lose a fortune in a year or two.
