1000 Points on £22 spend of wine?

1000 points if you buy a 'World of Wine Essentials' case. Works out at 40 pounds in Tesco deals. The code XXD94V -allegedly works with JP Chenet mini bottles. Total spend including delivery 22 pounds.

I played it safe and ordered the world of wine and another cheap case.

yikes sorry forgot to mention you need to buy two mini chenet cases

How much is delivery ?
#3
Although this was posted on another thread last week - still a great deal and worth reiterating without the mixed case as it did not seem to be spend specific. Mine worked with the JP chenet mini bottles - 1000 points £22 delivered.!!

Think delivery on wine is £5.99.

I don't really drink wine but for a 1000 points, i think it's a good time to start buying some. :giggle:

Can anyone recommend decent value wine for the minimum threshold including delivery?
#6
Won't let me use the £10 off (from the failed granacha) and the 1000 points in the same order :(

Hi realfriendlyman,

Depends what you mean by decent? You could go for the minimum spend possible for £22 del with the mini JP Chenet bottles (do a chardonnay and Merlot) or if you are not a real wine drinker - go for the mixed case - pretty good and will let you taste a variety of wines. I personally like the Australian stuff as it is consistently good (reds especially)...but it is down to personal taste!! Join the wine club and you will get around 500 points every quarter for buying around 3 bottles anyway (vouchers are in Club magazine).

I managed to use the 1000 points by only spending £15.71 including delivery, by buying a case of 12 tesco sparkling perry. Did post this as a seperate deal but got taken off as spam, not sure why.
#14
Doesn't seem to be working anymore. Placing wine in basket but no box appears for voucher code
#15

I got this too, does this mean you still get the 1000 points? I am not sure and wouldn't order if I didn't get them.
#18

#19

Code worked for me. Placed an order for 12 bottles of Liebfraumilch (which I would have bought eventually anyway) just over £28 delivered. Voted HOT:thumbsup:

#21
Mods - why was sanmarco5 deal on the perry removed? It should be hotter than the original wine deal as is cheaper but still get CC points. Got mine coming wed. and hopefully £40 worth of points.
#22
Guys - sorry to dissapoint (and the code may still work) but I got this offer today in my credit card statement. the 1000 points is offered provided you pay with a tesco credit card...................

Also the terms state that the points will be awarded in your Feburary statement, so a little wait for them!

Hi 56cheffy

1000 Tesco clubcard points is worth £10.00 off your shopping or £40.00 in deals. I always use my points for deals and extra points promotions like this are a great way to boost the points balance for big deals.

Can I ask if you paid with a Tesco credit card? I don't have one and would only order the wine to get the points so wouldn't want to risk ordering if what plane_boy2000 said about the code eligibility is checked by Tesco.

Make sure you have put enough wine in your basket. Lots of the wines are in "cases" of 6 but you need 12, unless you're getting Champagne! ;-)

Just ordered 2 lots of the 25cl Chenet merlot, perfect for when I make bolognaise sauce - enough for the pan and a glass left over for the chef! Thanks for this - saving up for Goldsmiths deals so I can get my gucci watch repaired, need 5000 points, so that's a fifth of them.
#36
Excellent, 1000 points for a £22 spend, haven't seen them better.
