Yes I got this email offer. However I tried a previous 1000 point offer with Tesco DVD and I was declined because I've had a Lovefilm free trial already. Don't know why they sent me the offer again!
They should make it clearer that you can't get the trial or points if you've been with the parent company before.:x

Still voted hot, £40 of points for those who are DVD trial noobs.

Just signed up for this, you have to make one payment to get the extra points. Not bad though, you can spend as little as £4.47!!!!
#5
I have also signed up for this but at no point did it ask for my Tesco clubcard number
#6
Can u go thru quidco & claim the £4 cash back as well? That would make it a very cheap offer.
#7

You need to specify your clubcard in the "My account" part of the site, using the "Tesco Clubcard" link in the left menu.

i have just come off the phone from 35 minutes talking to indian lady who was trying to tell me that to get the extra points you need to have your clubcard registered. i asked and was wanting to get through to her that at no point does it ask for your clubcard to be registered so how does this work...

top and bottom of it is that you need to register your clubcard afterwards and then hopefully your 1000 extra points will go on after your first payment is taken from your account. madness that was:?

first she told me that because i had an account with tesco (home shopping)already then i would not receive them. i said to cancel the account then and then she reeled off lots of email address's similar to mine, then i asked for the address's that these were registered to and luckily it was not my address. she then confirmed i should be ok to have these points. i'm so confused now. i have never ever had ANY free dvd trials for anywhere and have lived at my address for 11+ years. :?

still have not picked any dvds yet. too tired to look now

can you have games instead of dvds on your free trial. i was told by the "indain lady" i had signed up to dvds but upon looking i think it looks like either. helpp, i can't ring back...

just found out myself you can not use the £4.47 package for games:-(

Have registered last night and got the quidco £4 validated today.

Definitely a hot deal if the clubcard points arrive.

#22
saving for summer hols!
4 x face value for days out means loads of activities this summer (and a big saving!)
#23
points are very addictive!... have just used £35 (£140) worth for a night away with DH and have £65 (£260) sitting here waiting to be used towards a holiday with the kids...lol
#24
are the poimts automatically added to the account?
thanks
#25
After they have received the first payment, you will probably not get it on this statement tho' as cut off for points is Apr 28th. The £4 quidco, however, tracked and validated within 15 mins
#26
Excellent just done, how soon before I can cancel? soon as I receive the points?
#27
voted hot just done through quidco many thanks

Hi,
I had the tesco 2 month free trial before the 1000 points code came out, I was thinking of reactivating my account. Does anyone have any reactivation promotional codes for the dvd rental (through Tesco) that the website asks for when you attempt to reactivate the account?

Thanks.:)

It Doesn't exactly get the best reviews!

I am not sure reactivating your account will work, I seem to vaguely remember that you could not have been registered for a free trial via any Love Film affiliated sites, so you need to check the small print on the offer.

One time offer. As said if you have been a member of a Lovefilm site before this won't work. Found this out by trying myself.:x

Yes same problem here, I will wait another few days before ringing.
#34
Just checked and while I have paid the first months rental still no points. Although Quidco validated.
#35
how long does it take for points to be added? my payment has been taken, but i do not want to cancel in case i do not get the points, at the same time i still keep getting dvds and don't want to run up a bill for next month:oops:
#36
I would email them, that's what i did and then the points got added.

Yes, i emailed them and got a reply straight away saying points were added to my card but i think what has happened is that they have clashed with mays statement of points. i have kept the emails for confirmation. have to wait for this statement first.:)
#38
If your really not sure then phone them and then they can actually tell you what points were added when. She was able to tell me that i had two lots of 1000 points for groceries and one lot for the dvd rental.
