Yes I did yesterday and had to put up with a £8 off code! At least they are banked for next week! I never do a shop without adding some sort of code:giggle: :-D :p

add something to your basket and click on the checkout button. pick a delivery slot (it doesn't matter which one as you won't actually use it) and then click to enter codes where you normally would
the code will be accepted but won't be able to be used as you won't have spent enough so it will be banked for next time. You can do this with as many different codes as you have.

The delivery time you picked will automatically expire when you don't complete the checkout.

How do you bank them without ordering now?

For those who are saying, too late, they have already done an order,i believe you can amend your order and therefore put in this code.as long as your order isn't for today.:)

I have orderd 7 bottles of Tesco plonk and that Avent Sterilser with 999 extra points on it, used the code, total order value with delivery (tomorrow, so just in date for the 999 extra points special!) £56 plus £80-odd pounds-worth of Tesco deals. Great post, OP!
#23
Excellent - i can start shopping on line again! thanks

Here is another code for wine and champagne:
XX-E05E
to be used at www.tesco.com/winestore on wine and champagne until 07/10/2007.

But for the moment if you want some champ I would recommend you to go to Sainsbury's as they are running a 25% off sparkling wines (see a posting in the Deals from several days ago) and you can get real bargains.

Just divide your normal holiday cost by 4 and that will give you how many vouchers you will need. So £1100 will be £2.75 in clubcard vouchers

I had £1200 off of my virgin florida holiday this year and have already got £1762 (£440.50 of clubcard tokens) towards my next holiday.

Trouble is next year we want to go on an all inclusive holiday with first choice as we have been before and the kids entertainment was first class but they aren't in the Tesco deals.

So by the following year I will hopefully have enough vouchers to pay for all of my Virgin Florida holiday:thumbsup: :giggle:

I do my shopping online to make use of extra codes (with 3 accounts) have a tesco credit card and home phone! I also always go into store to use the little vouchers they send out. Well every little helps ;-)

I was just wondering how Tesco points work and how much they are worth? I always go for the money off but would it be worth stacking up the points instead? What's better £8 off a £100 odd spend or 1000 points? And what can you spend them on, does it come back to you as cash like my beloved Boots card (over £200!)?.
Thanks.

You are way better using points where ever possible as they are worth 4 times their face value. So 1000 is worth £40 in deals which can be used on holidays, days out, magazine subscriptions, meals out etc.

You can use them like cash but they are only worth face value that way. So 1000 points spent instore is worth £10 off your shopping compared with £40 on deals
#35
Wow, didn't realise Tesco were so generous with the points, sounds really good, thanks for your help, I'll definately look out for points deals next time I do a big shop!
#36
Thanks for this just banked it for my next shop next week
#37
Banked. Thanks for the code.
