Instructions:15th FEB I've amended the title to state that the discount is off £25 at it seems it goes through at a lot lower than £45. I think the official threshold is £25, but someone said they'd got the discount off a £19 spend.

Well good luck!!

Ordered an xbox live 12 month subscription for my son. Listed at £39 which although is slightly over the odds on normal highstreet prices final checkout price was £24 which as far as I know is about the cheapest you will ever get this item, even on ebay.

I note the minimum spend was posted as £45 however my order went through slightly lower at £42.95

Voted hot.

Additions direct is a sub company of the Littlewood.
Last summer, I used a promotional code(also on hotukdeas) to redeem 25 quids off an order on Littlewood. And one month later, they sent me a statement with 25 quids standing balence, and told me that I was not qualified to use that offer. Because the offer was not given to me personally.
Not sure whether this is a trap, but just want to remind you.
The terms and conditions is:
2.3 Where you have redeemed a promotional code or any other offer ("a Code") against your order, acceptance of this order is subject to our verifying that the Code has been issued to you personally, that you comply with all the terms of the offer and qualify for the Code. In the event that the Code has not been issued to you for your personal use or you do not qualify for the offer, the price of the order will be adjusted notwithstanding any email or other confirmation that you receive.

Many thanks, just ordered, and paid by card to avoid any credit check refusals (you never know what excuse they'd use to cancel an order)

Hi all,

The code is for new customers only and they can't control who becomes a new customer so why would the code cause a problem, afterall the littlewoods £25 code issue was about a code that had been issued for selected existing customers and thats where it went wrong when loads oof people started using the code.

Don't get me wrong I do think they where comepletely out of order but at least we now know the risk of using codes for existing customers that haven't been "issued personally to us"

From the experience of myself and people I know this email might not be to do with you using the code but something else i.e how someone at your address done something to taint your address or did you try to open a credit account (as people have found out that happens if you answer the following questions they ask i.e how long you've lived at your address and if you have credit cards / current account etc.

For future reference if this happens but you actually want to pay by card then keep goin back a page till you find yourself somewhere where you can select to go to the checkout and then choose pay by card.

Though there are about 4/5 catalogues part of the Little woods group, I find that Additions is like the little sibling that doesn't seem to know what they are doing. If you know that everything is ok at your end i.e you haven't tried anything that may be dodgy like a fake name then stand your ground with them and you can usually find a manager that knows what they are doing.

You have absolutely the right idea there thelatics, good on ya. Though I've been lied to before by the call centre staff who've told me that the discount doesn't get applied till weeks later if you pay by card, the discount comes off the same day you make payment though I don't know what happens if you return any of the items you've ordered.

I'm no expert but I hope I've helped in some way. Good Luck all

So, good deal.

 I was after an official wired 360 pad for my son and with this code I have just got one for £10 delieverd..:) CEX even give £15 trade(and sell for £20)

I just used this code for the SE W810i, and it went through for £30 delivered (-£18.50). I have an email confirmation of the order, and the status is 'order accepted' and due for delivery tomorrow.

Additions-Direct is part of Littlewoods group, and I did worry that since I have ordered and used a discount code with Littlewoods.com before, that they may try and charge me the full price for this phone.

However, as I have never ordered anything from 'Additions-Direct' before, then surely I qualify as a first order customer with them, and they shouldn'trefuse the discount, simply because of their parent company..... can they?

how can they do that? they would need authorisation to take the money from my bank account.
