Instructions:this is from paidtoshop...credit where its due.

spend £60 on groceries and get 1500 bonus points.

code apparently came from a wine club mailing but isn`t working for me on that. does work on groceries

edit:: was originally working on groceries now tescos have corrected it to work on wine only.

Used this code today - fab £65 of wine, effectively only cost £5 with 4 x points switched to deals!!

Check here http://checker.moneysavingexpert.com/loyalty/ it'll tell you the value of all the reward points

Can anyone tell me if these tesco offers are before or after the multi buy savings go off? My shopping trolley only seems to tell me before multibuy and after it won't qualify... should I be putting more in or will it still go through?
#7
Excellent, bank it immediately, it works at the moment, rep added. :)

Just do a pretend shop, if you use the code but don't go through with final payment it is banked for future orders. Just remember to remove anything left in your basket on the real shop
#10
Brilliant. Thanks for the tip. I'll do it now.
#11
hi, to bank a code you can put something into your basket first, then book a delivery slot anytime up to 3 weeks in advance then go to checkout. at checkout where it says ecoupons and clubcard vouchers click and put in the code. although you will not qualify to use the code with only one thing in your basket it will be banked until you have enough things in your basket. don't forget to empty your basket after and or keep items for following shop. its as easy as that. take care that the ecoupon in the bank is the one that tesco automatically use as sometimes you will have others less value in the bank and they can be used by tesco automatically. to get around this cancel the ecoupon until the one you want to use becomes the one at checkout. long winded, but that is me. hope this helps
#12
thanks ukdrummajor, great code
#13
Just did it, and it worked a treat...this should save my partner and I some money every time we shop.

#15
says invalid for me :(
#16
This code does NOT work for GROCERIES, it is for Wine/Alcohol.

It might of worked previously on groceries, but it does not now, it seems it was originally for Wine.
#17
just checked the bank of codes stored on my tesco account and it says 1500 point for wine. i don't think it said that earlier. i can not be sure, anyway it does now ......
#18
Seems Tesco were on the ball with this today, it's a shame noone caught it when it was working last night

i did :p

if anyone else was lucky enough to get it banked on your grocery shop.....go back and use it again on wine...it works lol!

I placed an order with my clubcard and banked on the OH's clubcard....checked and now states '1500 Points with your wine', certainly never said that on my 1st order.

Am I correct in thinking as I have it already banked on my OH's clubcard, I can still use it for a grocery shop, even though is states '..with your wine'. The order itself is accepting it once I have the value over £60.

Doing well with my tesco points, well on track for the family holiday for next year :-D

Cheers

if its showing as useable then it should be credited to account ?!
#22
Some people who got their orders in last night and received them today are showing on their order delivery note that the 1500 point code could not be applied...
if the 1500 points is not mentioned in your order confirmation e-mail it seems it won't be applied, even if it appeared to work on check out.
#23
Printed out my order and its stated on the bottom....1500 Points with your groceries

Many thanks for the voucher just orderd from Tesco , wine voucher went in fine.Wish i could have used the voucher earlier on Tesco grocery.
#26
I ordered my groceries this morning and the code was valid but my delivery is not until next Wednesday so i hope i will still get the points
#27
It wont let me use this code , all i get is_

Sorry, the code 'XXTYLF' could not be accepted. The code may be invalid, could have been mistyped or might be only for use in another store (e.g. you cannot use grocery eCoupons on books orders). Ref: EC01

Any Ideas?
#28
It might of worked previously on groceries

Please! The phrase is "might have" or "might've" but NOT "might of" Grrrrrrr.
Got my groceries tonight and the code was not applied - but phoned CS and they said we'd have to ring back tomorrow to get the points added.

My mrs has been sent this code, it is a wine code valid untill 19/11 on orders of £50 or more, (minimum 6 bottles of champers, 12 bottles of wine to qualify).

After reading a couple of other sites, it seems the orders made on grocery have not been accepted...Although i'm sure someone will get it somewhere..

Still a great code with Xmas coming up...

Remind me never to shop with tesco again... was my first shop, between 9-11pm last night. Driver phoned at 11pm, van broken down, couldn't make it - order would be here first thign in the morning, someone would phone at 8am to double check the time slot was convenient for me.

Well, i thought, that's ok i guess, i can live with that.

No phone call. 9:40am, someone phones and says, sorry the van broke down, we understand you haven't arranged redelivery.

I say.. the guy last night said it would be delivered today.

"But you didn't phone customer services"
Me: "Why would I phone.. he said You would phone."
"We are phoning, to remind you to rebook your slot."
"Ok.. so he didn't book a slot, even though he said he would, I'd like to rebook the slot please."
"Well I can't do that, you'll have to phone customer services. They won't have any slots for today now though."

Grrrrrr

Apparently no, I won't get free delivery. Or any compensation, + some of the stuff I ordered that night because the special offers were up, and now I don't get those, which means the bill is going to be higher than I thought, and I wouldn't have bought it without the special offer!

I can cancel it and redo the whole shop without the special offer stuff, or I can just grit my teeth.

Was my first shop with tesco and I won't be shopping with them again! Not even for 1500 points!!
#32
Thanks ukdrummajor..just banked it for a future purchase.

Yes I agree CWhatley..I have had problems with Tesco wine..I wrote to the Chief Executive to complain about my poor service and they sent me £20 in vouchers..so my advice is to do likewise.
#33
i banked the code straight away and have just done my shopping and it automatically added it to my order. it also says it 1500 points with wine on my email although i have just done a GROCERY shop. has anyone that banked it straight away done their shop and got the points. it does say it in my email......... will they honour it do you think
#34
just an update on my tesco grocery order. received order today and gutted the points were not added on receipt. i telephoned customer services and clubcard and clubcard say that they are showing their end and they will be added in 24 hours. she says they were accepted. no awkward questions either as to where it was from and apologies for not adding. so i will check tomorrow for balance.
#35
HI.

#36

I had a similar problem where the code was accepted but not showing on the delivery receipt. I also rang customer service who said it should be showing on my receipt within 24hrs but it never did show. If its not on your receipt tesco cs will have to do it manually, they finally did mine 2 months later. Apparently although its gone through the system as valid the person who does your shop in Tesco sometimes forgets to enter the code on their system, that's why it doesn't show on your receipt. You will probably have to make several phone calls to customer services like i did.

Good Luck!
#39
I banked mine immediately but it didin't get added on delivery. Didn't like to phone up to complain as it was clearly a Wine voucher, it showed as this at the end of the order too. :-(

I used code on a grocery shop and the 1500 points were not added. I rang the CS desk and followed up my request for the points to be added manually by email. Tesco have just contacted me to state they will be adding the points onto my account 28 days after the voucher expires.
